Second Team: "Nightmare" Jiao An, "Divine Fist" Qin Weishan, "Madwoman" Lu Sha, "Light Shuttle" Taokalanphiel (simultaneous action)
Mission Location: 190 kilometers west of Mauritius, Réunion Island, Furnace Volcano
Mission Objectives:
1. Destroy the internal Human hideout
2. Eliminate the Quantum String Engine Locator
After receiving information from Jiao An, Taokalanphiel made a gesture they had never seen before and vanished in a flash of light. The trails left by her high-speed movement lingered for a few seconds, allowing the three to clearly see the temporal collapse surrounding the lines—a distorted space appearing as a gradually fading golden thread, quickly returning to its original state.
"So, what's going on now?" Lu Sha asked, bewildered by the sudden turn of events.
Seeing that Jiao An was lost in thought and did not respond, Qin Weishan explained, "Currently, we only know that the Quantum String Engine Locator is roughly located on Réunion Island in the western Indian Ocean's Mascarene Islands. Based on Taokalanphiel's information, we've locked the satellite's view on Furnace Volcano. However, the entire airport is being jammed by full-band electromagnetic waves, preventing us from viewing detailed satellite images of the target location or seeing real-time footage. Our actions are definitely being monitored, but we don't know where the enemy is. Perhaps..."
Qin Weishan leaned closer and whispered in her ear, "We can't trust anyone around us right now; the enemy is hidden while we are exposed. Be cautious."
Lu Sha immediately composed herself, quickly scanning the people around her with her peripheral vision and subtly nodding to Qin Weishan.

Third Team: "Fierce Eagle" An Xiaotian, "Blue Face Hero" Liu Xuan/Nars, "Light Shuttle" Taokalanphiel (simultaneous action)
Mission Location: Southern Pacific
Mission Objectives:
1. Destroy the internal Human hideout
2. Eliminate the Quantum String Engine Locator
The waves split apart on the surface of the sea, creating layers of white foam that were soon drowned out by the roar of jet engines as an F-35C fighter jet landed on the aircraft carrier's deck. As its tires left a trail of white smoke dissipating into the steam above the ocean, the side of the carrier gradually came into view. The letters "CVN-77" appeared one after another in An Xiaotian's line of sight. Once locked onto by the AI within his armor, he turned his gaze to a guide waving a yellow flag on the deck.
From a distance, it looked like a small insect flying beside a giant beast moving across the sea. After circling around the aircraft carrier, Fierce Eagle followed the F-35C back onto the deck.
As he unlocked his helmet, the midday sun poured down onto him from above, making An Xiaotian feel slightly uncomfortable after being cooped up inside his armor for so long. He shielded his eyes from the sunlight and walked toward Liu Xuan, who was waiting for him at the command tower.
This joint operation with the U.S. Navy was a decision made by the United Nations after learning about The Celestial Warriors Alliance's proposed plan. Coincidentally, the USS Bush Nimitz-Class Aircraft Carrier was patrolling near Australian waters when it received an invitation from the United Nations and obtained approval from its national leader to arrive at the designated area. An Xiaotian and Liu Xuan flew in on a Y-20 transport aircraft to parachute down and activate their flight devices upon landing on the U.S. aircraft carrier.
Within their alliance, An Xiaotian and Liu Xuan faced a particularly unique task—they needed to dive underwater.
The U.S. Navy had explicitly stated that they would unconditionally cooperate with all actions taken by The Celestial Warriors during this mission. The entire carrier battle group would establish a three-dimensional blockade over the specified sea area. Additionally, they provided both warriors with advanced oxygen breathing devices—thin membranes that felt like moth wings but could tightly adhere to users' bodies, relieving 99% of pressure while isolating them from liquids. These devices could also interact with external environments to extract oxygen from water and expel gases produced by users' bodies, maintaining physiological balance for extended periods.
According to U.S. military officers who received them, this was a top-secret piece of equipment worth millions for just one complete protective membrane.
However, so far this technology had not been put to use. An Xiaotian had initially held an optimistic view: they were already near the most precise location provided by Taokalanphiel. If he could use specialized radar to search for energy signals from beneath the sea related to the Quantum String Engine Locator and mark its three-dimensional position, perhaps they wouldn't need to deploy both warriors; a surprise attack from a U.S. submarine might be more efficient.
Yet reality was not as smooth as An Xiaotian had envisioned. He activated his armor's radar detection system and coordinated it with the carrier battle group's network but still found nothing in this area. Frustrated, he returned to Liu Xuan's side and complained with an open hand, "Seriously? There's not even a place here where I can store my armor."
Liu Xuan knew that An Xiaotian must be complaining because he had found nothing. Nars had already reminded them that the internal Humans who could be ordered to hide on Earth were not easy to find. Liu Xuan forced a smile and said, "Get ready to dive. We have the exact location on the surface; we just need to go down."
"I remember it took you half a year to learn swimming when you were a child, and now you're going to dive so deep..." An Xiaotian paused and looked at him. "Honestly, I'm worried about you. My Fierce Eagle Armor can seal all valves, solve the oxygen problem, and bear nearly one ton of hydrostatic pressure for your lungs. Even if the armor is damaged, I have the protective film provided by the military. And what about you?"
He noticed Liu Xuan's left eye gradually changing to a moonlight color. Nars came online and said, "Don't worry, Captain. He has never been alone; I won't let anything happen to him."
"Yes, I know. He has never been alone," An Xiaotian sighed as he spoke, reaching out to embrace this dual-spirit person. He didn't know who this hug was for; it felt like he was entrusting a child he had raised with someone else. Liu Xuan looked up and saw the protective instinct of an older brother in An Xiaotian's profile, along with his deep-seated worries.
Mauritius, Port Louis
Lu Sha finally cleared up everything that Jiao An and the officials had discussed on the plane on their way to the Embassy. According to them, in recent years, Mauritius had gradually seen the emergence of a religious sect that had never appeared before, and it was developing rapidly. Recently, it even threatened the status of Islam. To address this conflict, Mauritius had invested heavily; however, so far, these two religions were in a competitive situation where neither could coexist.
This sect was called the Miracle Sect. Although it had "miracle" in its name, the deity they worshipped was not a specific being but rather the concept of "randomness." They believed that everything in the world arose from chance and would eventually perish due to chance; every random occurrence was what they claimed as "the choice of God." Their leaders even understood some cutting-edge science and had deified the probabilistic randomness from quantum theory, rallying many followers with the idea that "anything is possible."
In recent years, after news of extraterrestrial forces arriving spread worldwide, intense ideological turmoil led to the emergence of new sects like mushrooms after rain. The Miracle Sect was one such representative faction and had become quite popular in countries along Africa's east coast, with its origin being Mauritius.
"Since that's the case, surely the leader of this sect will attract attention," Lu Sha asked from her seat. Everyone was standing in the Embassy engaging in initial pleasantries while Lu Sha chose a spot next to Jiao An due to feeling tired from the bumpy journey. A nearby attendant immediately poured her tea respectfully, making her feel somewhat out of place as she oscillated between standing and sitting several times before finally standing again before her full cup.
"Ms. Lu is correct; we have indeed attempted to summon the leaders of the Miracle Sect," said the Foreign Minister of Mauritius, a mature woman with short brown hair exuding a calm and steady aura. Her English sounded strong and authoritative. "However, their leaders have refused to meet with us. We also tried arranging informants, but according to collected information, the names of Miracle Sect's leaders are all aliases, making it impossible to identify which citizen they are through facial recognition."
"If there's facial recognition data, how can we not know who they are?" Jiao An asked.
"Strangely enough, their faces have never appeared in our national database," the Foreign Minister replied. "This is why we chose to cooperate unconditionally with you heroes. Since the exposure of extraterrestrial forces, we have every reason to believe that this religious sect is led by 'acquaintances' among internal Humans as a means of alienating our citizens. Unfortunately, we currently cannot find any evidence; they are hiding too well—if everything is indeed as such."
Qin Weishan suddenly looked at Jiao An, silently asking whether it was necessary to continue investigating the Miracle Sect. He worried that this might not relate to Second Team's mission. However, Jiao An decisively nodded at him and continued typing on her holographic screen.
"Understood." Jiao An had already opened her holographic screen on her watch and placed it before her eyes to record the information provided by the Foreign Minister. "You just mentioned that the leaders of Miracle Sect refused to meet with your government; has any informant made contact?"
"Yes," confirmed the Foreign Minister with a nod. "To meet them requires passing their so-called 'tests.'"
With that said, a bearded man in a suit stepped out from behind the minister. He approached the table holding something in his hand; when he opened it up, six bullets were revealed. Then he took an old-fashioned revolver from an attendant and skillfully rotated its cylinder for loading bullets.
Jiao An exchanged glances with Qin Weishan; both military veterans immediately noticed something different among those six bullets—one bullet had a mottled white tip that vaguely revealed flesh tissue.
"This is..." Lu Sha tiptoed to look at that bullet.
"Pork Bullet," said the Foreign Minister. "Next, he will demonstrate all details he encountered while acting as an informant."
