The delicate and fair face was scratched by sharp branches, drawing blood, but she felt no pain, running frantically to wherever she could escape.
The narrow forest path hindered the movement of the giant bear, but it was not worried that its prey would escape from its grasp. In its eyes, her movements were no different from a kitten frolicking around.
"Don't! Please, someone save me!"
Renee's voice was hoarse, and the taste of blood surged up.
Her legs couldn't move, but the foul smell and growling behind her told her that the wild beast had not given up on her yet.
It's right behind her!! Renee desperately threw the knife backwards, not knowing if it hit the bear's head. The giant bear let out an angry roar.
Under the threat of death, Renee suddenly gathered strength in her feet and ran forward in a stumbling manner. She deliberately headed for narrow spaces, where her shoes were caught by tree branches and she fell to the ground several times, scraping her knees on sharp stones and drawing a bloody trail. The wounds on the soles of her feet were also unbearable to look at, but the pain was completely numbed and temporarily unfelt.
"Mom, Anna... sob, Anna save me..."
The beast let out two sharp howls, as if mocking and urging her on. Renee was tripped by the vines on the ground again, and fell flat on the ground.
It hurts so much... my whole body is in pain. Tears keep falling from the corners of my eyes, soaking into the black soil, carrying the bitter taste of despair.
Who will come and save her...?

Renee Desperately staring at her own death, the next second, a dazzling white light suddenly flashed before her eyes.
Hot blood gushed out from the thick fur, splattering onto the tree trunk, dry leaves, and her face. Some even entered her left eye, staining her vision red.
Renee widened her eyes and looked at the man standing in front of her with his back turned.
His figure is tall and slender, dressed in luxurious attire that seems out of place in this savage forest, more like a nobleman who should be dancing at her family's banquet.
Miller held a bloodied curved knife in his hand, raised it to his mouth, stuck out his tongue, licked it, and then spat it out.
Renee moved her feet, and the faint sound startled him. Miller turned his head, his crimson eyes looking at the disheveled girl lying on the ground.
"Are you a human being?"
Miller stared at her face, covered in dust and blood, and squinted, "Human beings in the depths of the Bloody Forest?"
Renee slowly regained consciousness and then realized the intense pain in her feet. Her skin had been pierced by many twigs and stones, and some had even penetrated into her flesh.
She burst into tears, and tears streamed from her eyes, continuously washing her cheeks. Renee wanted to wipe them away with her hand, but the painful wounds on her face made her hesitant to touch them.
Miller waited for her to cry for a while, then walked over, squatted down, held Renee's hand, let go, and roughly wiped her face with a handkerchief.
"Pain, pain!" Renee looked at him with her bright green eyes, the corners of her eyes were extremely red with grievance.
Miller pinched her chin, his cool fingers deliberately pressing on the scar on her face.
Renee felt her shoulders stiffen, the wound on her shoulder burning, not knowing what he was doing.
