Tai Shu Yun furrowed her brows, realizing that just after recognizing her master, someone had come knocking at the door.
Those who practiced cultivation always had a heightened sense of danger, and the first to react outside the room was Dragon Peak.
In the void, several Elders of the Long Family looked down upon the world from their lofty heights. Suddenly, Dragon Peak felt a tingling sensation at the back of his head, as if he were being targeted by some kind of danger.
He couldn't think of anyone on Ice Shimmer Star who could threaten him; it was just that this feeling was all too familiar. Familiar to the point of being etched in his bones, yet he couldn't recall what it was. Perhaps it had been a hundred years, or maybe even thousands. This feeling had never faded from his memory, but what exactly was it?
His Spiritual Awareness spread out like mercury, encompassing tens of thousands of miles under his control. After being in seclusion for so long, he never expected that upon this glance, he would nearly spit out a mouthful of old blood. The emergence of Red Fruit amidst the darkness revealed many events happening under his watch. The Long Family had fallen to such a state.
For a moment, he felt disheartened, but it was precisely this that finally stirred his reaction.
"Retreat quickly!" A roar like that of a tiger echoed from his mouth, and he was the first to fly backward.
"Dragon Clan, quickly distance yourselves from the Auction House."
The members of the Dragon Clan had no idea why their Ancient Ancestor was behaving this way; they only saw despair and fear on Dragon Peak's face as he retreated.
What could possibly cause their seemingly invincible Ancient Ancestor to show such expressions?
Upon hearing Dragon Peak's warning, the Elders of the Long Family in the void transformed into streaks of light and fled in haste. Some kindly took a few clan members with them, while many others hurriedly retreated.
"Mara's Curse! How could I have forgotten about this!" Zuo Dao exclaimed helplessly. He had been so focused on helping Tai Shu Yun recognize her master that he overlooked her Realm. Clearly, she was on the verge of a breakthrough! How could he have forgotten? A calamity was about to descend.
Although his formation was powerful, it seemed that Tai Shu Yun's commotion was rather excessive. Even with multiple layers of formation barriers, Zuo Dao could faintly sense the impending calamity.
It was only because of the Great Formation's obstruction that the calamity hadn't found its source yet; it remained hidden and dormant. Now, this would spell trouble for the Dragon Clan.
Dragon Peak finally recalled where the danger originated. At this moment, with Zuo Dao and his companions at the center, the area within millions of miles was completely shrouded by Calamity Cloud.
The occasional flash of lightning sent the Cultivators below scurrying around like frightened dogs.
Dragon Peak had forgotten how long it had been since he last Transcended Tribulation; it had been over a thousand years since he had ascended to this step. The inability to move forward filled him with anxiety, as he had once longed for the arrival of the tribulation.
But now that the tribulation had come, he found himself wanting to flee, feeling both unwilling and heartbroken.
He truly wanted to roar out, "Come at me if you dare!"
Yet he did not dare; this was the greatest taboo in cultivation. All he could do was keep running. He couldn’t unleash his full power either; he had seen a few foolish Cultivators who were frightened by the tribulation and released their cultivation, only to be reduced to ashes in an instant.
The range covered by Calamity Cloud was vast. What would normally take just a moment to traverse now felt infinitely long to him. His meridians were overtaken by a murky blend of black and white energy, causing even the celestial energy to shy away. There were too many questions within him that he could not answer.
His physical exhaustion quickly faded, and he slowly opened his eyes.
The first thing that caught his attention was a beautiful face, radiant with springtime allure, but the proximity was too close for comfort. Zuo Dao could feel the fragrant breath of the person before him.
What is going on? Am I about to be pushed down?
This was Zuo Dao's immediate thought. In the room, there was no other woman present except Tai Shu Yun. With his experience, how could he not notice that this woman’s heart was already swaying in the currents of affection?
What time is it? How can she still be in the mood for flirtation? Zuo Dao truly didn’t know how to handle Tai Shu Yun. He quickly raised his hand to press against her forehead.
"Hey, beautiful, what time is it? Can't you be a bit more serious?"
Tai Shu Yun had just been about to enter a blissful moment when suddenly a large hand blocked her forehead. Startled, she opened her eyes and nearly died of embarrassment.

"What do you mean 'you'? Were you planning to sneak around while I wasn’t looking?" Zuo Dao grinned mischievously. If it weren't for the big trouble hanging over him, he wouldn't want to miss this opportunity. However, what he truly desired was to share a bed with three women. Though it was an ambitious goal that required effort, it was still within reach.
"Sneak around? You wish!" Tai Shu Yun quickly regained her composure. "Don't think I don't know what you're thinking, and don’t act like you’re unaffected."
"Well," she said, blushing as she pointed at Zuo Dao's lower body. "You've been sold out long ago."
Zuo Dao followed her finger and looked down.
What a big tent!
"Cough, purely an accident, purely an accident." He shrank his body a bit. Even a big man like him couldn't resist temptation; he had only secretly murmured a little, and his brother had already raised the flag of rebellion against him.
"By the way, do you feel anything?" He quickly changed the subject to divert her attention.
Tai Shu Yun looked at Zuo Dao with disdain.
"Hmph, it's a calamity, what else could it be?" She was furious about this calamity; both sides were on the move, right at the moment of action, but it was all ruined. If the calamity were personal, Tai Shu Yun would have long since gone berserk and turned him to ashes.

If she hadn't known the Measuring Tool's previous form, Tai Shu Yun would have wanted to pick up this adorable boy and give him a few kisses. However, seeing it in its current form truly surprised her.
"I wonder, are you regressing or evolving?" Zuo Dao mused, stroking his chin while continuously sizing up the newly emerged Spirit Tool—Liang.

Zuo Dao was surprised to find that his fear of Liang had vanished upon his appearance. Although he had questions for him, he decided to deal with the current situation first.

But let me tell you, if you screw this up now, I'll turn you into a yin-yang person." With that, Zuo Dao demonstrated by summoning a wisp of celestial flame from within.
He wished he could summon more, but this was all he could manage at the moment. As expected, Liang's face changed dramatically the instant Zuo Dao summoned the celestial flame.
"What the hell, this is just insane!" Liang wanted to cry but didn't have time for that; without thinking further, he made a dash to escape into the sky.
Before Zuo Dao could say anything, there was a loud crash followed by Liang's wailing cries.
"You can't bully people like this!" Liang cried out, causing Tai Shu Yun nearby to feel heartbroken and momentarily forget about Liang's previous form.
"Stupid ghost, hurry up and dispel the formation! How am I supposed to Transcend Tribulation like this?"
