"Come here, come here!" 0

He waved his hand at Gu Zhan repeatedly, his tone urgent, hoping that in the next moment, Gu Zhan would teleport right in front of him. Jiang Yan urged Gu Zhan while occasionally glancing at Li Xiao, fearing she might change her mind. 0

Finally, Gu Zhan ran over, panting and confused by the sight of the two. 0

"What’s going on? Why are you calling me like it’s a life-or-death situation?" 0

As he spoke, he grabbed a bottle of water nearby and gulped down half of it. 0

Noticing Li Xiao standing to the side, a light bulb went off in his head. Wasn’t she… the new owner of his milk? 0

"Hello! I’m Gu Zhan, Jiang Yan’s good friend," he introduced himself cheerfully. 0

Li Xiao looked at the person before her and realized that indeed, his friend was just as carefree as he was—if not more so. 0

"Hi, I’m Li Xiao." 0

Jiang Yan watched Gu Zhan’s eyes darting around in confusion and chose to ignore him. He turned to Li Xiao and said, "So, how about we take a picture together?" His tone was casual, but Gu Zhan choked on his water. 0

"You want to take a picture of you two?!" He glanced at Jiang Yan and then turned to Li Xiao. 0

Li Xiao simply turned away, ignoring his incredulous expression. 0

"Hey! Jiang Yan! What are you doing? Why are you hitting me?" 0

"What are you looking at? Just take the picture. Why are you so surprised, like you've never seen anything before?" 0

Gu Zhan rubbed the back of his head where Jiang Yan had "struck" him, wearing an expression that clearly said, "I knew you had other intentions." 0

Seeing that look made Jiang Yan want to hit him again. 0

"We're friends. What's wrong with taking a photo? She's my champion for today; it's worth commemorating," he defended. 0

"Oh, there's a reason, huh? It really is worth remembering," Gu Zhan replied, too lazy to listen to his excuses. Ever since his milk had gone missing, he knew he had to "give way." 0

Jiang Yan was genuinely worried that Gu Zhan's attitude would scare Li Xiao away, so he kept urging him on. 0

"Come on, come on, let's take the picture." 0

"Use this," Li Xiao said as she handed over the camera she had been holding, adjusting the settings. 0

Jiang Yan glanced at Li Xiao, straightened his clothes, and walked over to stand beside her. He even fiddled with his hair a bit. Half of Jiang Yan's body was behind Li Xiao; she felt a little awkward. 0

Her heartbeat felt unusually loud, and she was nervous, afraid that Jiang Yan could hear it. Li Xiao guessed that her expression must look like a zombie's as she held her breath, waiting for the shutter to click. 0

"Make sure you take a good one—my champion photo and my new friend," Gu Zhan said as he picked up the camera and got ready, giving an "okay" sign. 0

"Alright, let's start. One, two..." 0

Before he could say "three," Jiang Yan suddenly shoved the sunflower in his hand into Li Xiao's hands. 0

Li Xiao was surprised and turned to look at him. 0

"Three!" The scene froze. 0

"Not bad, not bad. My photography skills are impressive," Gu Zhan was already admiring his own photography skills. Jiang Yan ran over to his side, peeking in and nodding frequently. 0

Only Li Xiao remained in a daze from the sudden turn of events, looking at the sunflower in her hand, suddenly understanding why it was called a sunflower. 0

"Xiao Xiao, Xiao Xiao, there you are! I've been looking for you for ages. I thought you were still at the long jump event, but then I found out you were looking for someone to switch..." 0

Li Xiao heard Ling Ling's words and quickly covered her mouth, signaling her with her eyes to stop talking. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Jiang Yan still looking at the photos, raising an eyebrow with a curious expression on his face as he watched them. 0

"Oh, oh, I’ve been busy with the project shoot," she replied. 0

Looking down at Ling Ling again, she asked, "What are you wearing? This can't be the 'very different team uniform' you mentioned, right?" 0

"What do you think? This is what the class monitor called 'different.'" 0

Ling Ling was already tired of talking. Their class monitor had rented a set of flowing sleeve dance costumes from somewhere. The outfit was mainly suitable for tall girls; when they wore it, only their heads were exposed while everything else was covered. It was quite sun-protective, but she had tripped over this outfit countless times that morning and was on the verge of losing her temper. 0
