After pondering for a while, Xunuo's curiosity was piqued by the intriguing object.
When Xunuo's mind brushed against a piece of Jade Fragment in their possession, they noticed something peculiar about it. They reached out and pulled the Jade Fragment from their pocket, realizing it was the same one they had picked up inside the Tomb.
Inside the Tomb, Xunuo had taken the Jade Fragment because it was translucent and pure white, a beautiful jade. They had simply grabbed it in haste while fleeing for their life, with no time or thought to consider its significance.
Xunuo had nearly forgotten about this matter.
Today, as their mind scanned the Jade Fragment, they discovered that it contained more than met the eye. Bringing the Jade Fragment closer to the Mud Pill Palace, Xunuo focused their mind on it once more and found some text hidden within.
After a while, Xunuo put away the Jade Fragment, their expression strange. They murmured, "So this kind of mental perception is called Divine Sense. Why haven't I heard Uncle Lu mention it? This is certainly not something to be casually shared with outsiders."
It turned out that within the Jade Fragment, Xunuo had discovered a text titled Elixir Formula.
The Elixir Formula was divided into two parts. The first part explained how to cultivate Divine Sense, while the second part taught how to concoct medicines and refine pills. Upon reading it, Xunuo realized that what they referred to as 'mind' was actually Divine Sense from the Elixir Formula. There should be a place called Sea of Consciousness within the Mud Pill Palace. According to the text, when Divine Sense is cultivated to its peak, one can perceive things from hundreds of miles away as if they were right in front of them. There were also mentions of splitting Divine Sense and transforming it into thousands, which Xunuo found incomprehensible.
However, the method for cultivating Divine Sense was not particularly difficult. After some contemplation, Xunuo felt that it seemed simpler than the Huayang Classic. They believed they could also cultivate this Divine Sense.
Not to mention that being able to perceive things from hundreds of miles away would be advantageous; even sensing things within three to five miles would greatly benefit their endeavors.
As for the second part of Elixir Formula regarding medicine concoction and pill refining, Xunuo wasn't particularly interested mainly due to its obscure and difficult content.

However, he grasped about seventy to eighty percent of the first level after a few readings.
Xunuo decided to fully comprehend the first level before beginning his cultivation of Divine Sense. Since he had opened his Divine Sense through the Huayang Classic, cultivating Divine Sense would not conflict with his practice of the Huayang Classic. Naturally, he could cultivate both simultaneously. With this thought, Xunuo nodded confidently.
Suddenly, Xunuo recalled something. Had he opened his Divine Sense for no reason? Could it be that the Huayang Classic had made a breakthrough? Upon reflection, there was indeed a possibility. He then probed his Divine Sense into his Dantian and found that it had indeed expanded significantly, and the True Qi swirling within seemed to have diminished.

In high spirits, Xunuo decided to meditate and cultivate the Huayang Classic on the Ridge. He continued until sunrise before resuming his journey southward.

However, being able to arrive safely made Xunuo very happy. He decided that for the next leg of his journey, he would continue with his previous method: practicing during the day and traveling at night.
For the past two months, it had been a life of hardship, sleeping in the open and eating on the go. Now, however, it was time to reach the nearby town, enjoy a hearty meal, and pay respects at the Five Organs Temple before discussing further matters. The sun had not yet set when Xunuo arrived at a town and entered an inn called Guest, Please Come Again. He ordered two pounds of beef and a few buns and began to eat heartily.
It was here that he encountered River Dolphin and others.
Xunuo immediately recognized River Dolphin, but River Dolphin truly did not recognize Xunuo. This was understandable; over the past year, Xunuo's physique and appearance had changed dramatically. Even if River Dolphin had looked closely back then, he would not have been able to recognize him now. Moreover, they had only met briefly on that occasion.

River Dolphin replied anxiously, "Do we really have to cross the river at the cliff? Can't we find another ferry?"
The burly man chuckled, "I understand your eagerness for revenge, my brother. However, other ferries do not have large boats capable of carrying horses. Spending one night here may not mean that Lu Changlin has escaped."
Upon hearing this, Xunuo furrowed his brow and sat back down. Since this matter involved Lu Duhou, Xunuo naturally could not stand idly by and patiently listened on.
The Long-Bearded Man, who had been silent until now, suddenly spoke up: "River Dolphin, I truly do not understand. Lu Changlin is a wanted criminal by the Officialdom; since you know his whereabouts, you could simply report it to them and let the authorities handle your revenge. Why go through all this trouble and expense to kill him?"
River Dolphin's expression turned cold as he replied, "We are people of the Jianghu; we must resolve our issues using Jianghu methods."
The Long-Bearded Man snorted dismissively.
The purple-faced man understood the situation well. This burly man with round eyes was named Sun Boning, known in Jianghu as Leopard-Eyed Pixiu. He had originally partnered with River Dolphin in their exploits of robbery. Later, when River Dolphin fell into trouble and was pursued by Dingzhou's Officialdom, he went missing. Left alone, Sun Boning sought out this Long-Bearded Man as his new partner.
A few days ago, River Dolphin found Sun Boning and promised him a share of the Sanchuan Marsh territory in exchange for help in avenging his severed arm. Sun Boning readily agreed. As a rootless rogue, while he enjoyed freedom, it also came with danger. Having a territory would provide him with stability; becoming a mountain king was also Sun Boning's dream.
As for River Dolphin, having abandoned the mountain stronghold of Sanchuan Marsh, he was determined to take revenge personally, and Sun Boning was well aware of this.
River Dolphin was a person who believed in settling scores directly; he would not consider it true vengeance if it were carried out by someone else. Even if his enemy ultimately met their end, to River Dolphin, it would merely mean that the enemy had died of illness or old age. Sun Boning replied earnestly, "Of course. Although Lu Changshan is tough, I won't take him lightly."
River Dolphin quickly expressed his gratitude and then turned to Long-Bearded Man, saying, "That Lu Changlin severed my arm; I fear I am no match for him. I will need your assistance when the time comes."
Long-Bearded Man chuckled and said, "Taking money to resolve troubles is what we do. Since Brother Jiang has invested so much, it's only right for us to give our all. Besides, now that we are merging our efforts and living together in Sanchuan Marsh, we are like family—there's no need to keep things separate."
Hearing this, River Dolphin's face lit up with joy. "Then let’s celebrate today! It won’t be in vain to call ourselves brothers."
With that, he called out loudly for the waiter and said, "Bring out your best wine and food without worrying about the cost."
The waiter was delighted to see such generous patrons and hurried off to prepare.
