Wei Ning's face shimmered with a golden light, shifting unpredictably in the vast Blood Sea. Peng Bai looked at him, feeling a sense of fear creeping in; this captivating visage seemed to no longer belong to the Wei Ning he once knew. 0

"Are you... are you Wei Zi or that Old Ghost?" Peng Bai stammered. In the Blood Sea, the headless Zombie beside him continued to move silently, stirring the stillness of the sea. Yet, the creatures around him paled in comparison to the terror emanating from the person before him. 0

"Do you know that Wei Xian Gui originally wanted to take over my body?" Wei Ning said calmly, gazing at Peng Bai. 0

"What?" Peng Bai gasped, clearly unaware of what Wei Ning was referring to. He had no knowledge of the perilous battle that had just unfolded within Wei Ning's body. 0

"Wei Xian Gui has been deceiving me," Wei Ning continued lightly. "He claimed he would make me a demigod, but all he wanted was my body. After taking over my shell, he intended to become a demigod himself." 0

"Trapped by the torment of immortality and suffering from endless decay, Wei Xian Gui has long been plotting. He merely aimed to transform my body into a 'demigod,' so that at my weakest moment, he could infuse his spirit into me and merge with my Three Souls and Seven Spirits, becoming the master of this body." 0

"Unfortunately for him, he miscalculated—besides my Three Souls and Seven Spirits, there is another soul within me. This soul was left for me by Wei Xianjun, waiting for this very moment! What Wei Xian Gui fused with was not my Three Souls and Seven Spirits but rather that fifth soul left by Wei Xianjun!" 0

Peng Bai asked, "Then where is Wei Xian Gui now?" 0

Wei Ning pointed to the Zombie beside them and said indifferently, "Those who harm others ultimately harm themselves. I have merged with Undying Bone and attained the demigod form that Wei Xian Gui sought. He miscalculated; I can naturally expel these two souls that do not belong to me." 0

"I have sealed him within that Zombie's body. Did he not always want to find a new vessel? Let him have one," Wei Ning stated flatly, as if discussing something entirely unrelated to himself. 0

A thick scent of blood wafted through the air. In this boundless Blood Sea, Peng Bai felt an overwhelming chill. While Wei Ning appeared relaxed, the dangers involved were beyond human comprehension. Whether it was Wei Xian Gui or Wei Ning, even Wei Xianjun—success or failure in this covert struggle hung by a thread! 0

Peng Bai glanced at the Zombie again, a wave of cold dread washing over him. Could it be that someone like Wei Xian Gui had now become such a mindless Walking Corpse? 0

"If it weren't for Wei Xianjun waking me up in time at the Wei Family Ancestral Tomb, I might have been completely unprepared for him. In that case, I would have become that Walking Corpse myself," Wei Ning remarked calmly. 0

"Indeed," Peng Bai nodded, recalling Wei Xian Gui's earlier performance. His acting was truly masterful; every word had been convincing enough to make one believe he was resorting to such desperate measures only to escape the Blood Sea. If Wei Ning had genuinely thought that Wei Xian Gui was trying to help him without any defenses in place, then Wei Xian Gui would have had ample time to succeed with Soul Snatching. 0

In the end, however, he had still been outmaneuvered by Wei Xianjun. Perhaps Wei Xianjun had foreseen today's events a century ago and thus arranged everything before his death, leaving behind a powerful restriction capable of taking everything from Wei Xian Gui. 0

"Ah, Wei Xianjun, although you have died, you have completely defeated Wei Xian Gui in another person's body a hundred years later." 0

"I'm leaving. Are you coming?" Wei Ning glanced at Peng Bai and said calmly. 0

"What! You can get out of here?" Upon hearing this, Peng Bai couldn't contain his excitement and nodded repeatedly, saying, "I’m willing, I’m willing." 0

Wei Ning sighed and said, "No matter how you are at heart, you have helped me. You saved me twice; if it weren't for you, I would have long become a mindless Blood Corpse. Just now, I could see that although Wei Xian Gui's intentions were false, your concern was genuine. In my moment of confusion, it was your words that awakened me. After I help you out of here, we will owe each other nothing. However—after you leave, you must promise me one thing." 0

"What is it?" Peng Bai nodded eagerly. "Whatever it is, even if it's a thousand or ten thousand, I will agree." 0

"From now on, you must live in the Burning Corpse Forest forever and never step out even a half-step," Wei Ning looked at Peng Bai and spoke each word clearly. 0

"What!" Peng Bai exclaimed in alarm. "What difference does that make for me being here?" 0

Wei Ning replied leisurely, "At least there you can still read books; when bored, you can watch people dig for worms to pass the time." 0

Peng Bai fell silent for a moment before suddenly gritting his teeth and saying, "Fine, monster, I agree. Damn it." 0

Wei Ning let out a long howl and suddenly surged upward, shouting, "Come forth, my friends!" 0

Suddenly the entire Blood Sea began to churn. Wherever Wei Ning went, countless Yin Spirits avoided him and fled in all directions. Wei Ning's true energy surged as he shot straight down; his toes skimmed the waves of the Blood Sea with lightning speed as he plunged directly into its depths. 0

The Blood Sea boiled like water coming to a boil, slowly bubbling up before rapidly rotating around a central point to form a massive whirlpool. The whirlpool expanded gradually as white bloated Zombies and countless skeletal Skeleton Demons were shattered by the swirling waves. 0

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!" A series of piercing sounds rang out as thirteen beams of red light emerged from the bottom of the whirlpool. The red light flickered as the Blood Sea surged and fell; Peng Bai was swept into it and involuntarily swallowed several mouthfuls of blood. Looking down, he saw Wei Ning sitting cross-legged at the bottom of the Blood Sea, eyes focused on his nose and nose on his heart, remaining motionless despite the tumultuous waters. 0

What is he doing? Peng Bai wondered. 0

Suddenly the thirteen beams of blood light converged, allowing Peng Bai to see clearly that these were the Thirteen Blood Corpses! 0

Wei Ning had actually summoned the Thirteen Blood Corpses into the Nether Blood Sea! 0

Wei Ning let out a long howl, and the Thirteen Blood Corpses circled around him at varying distances, all facing inward. Upon hearing Wei Ning's voice, they seemed to respond in unison, howling back. 0

The fierce wind cut through the air like a knife, and the immense pressure from the Thirteen Blood Corpses caused all the Zombies in the Blood Sea to tremble in fear. Peng Bai's breathing grew increasingly ragged. The Wei Family's Thirteen Blood Corpses, which Wei Xianjun had once used to instill terror, were now present in the world! Zhu You, Dragon Tiger, and even he himself had once attempted to control these Thirteen Blood Corpses, and now they had finally manifested! 0

"Ugh!" The Thirteen Blood Corpses roared together! Wei Ning stepped into the Seven Stars stance, and the Thirteen Blood Corpses followed suit. Suddenly, under Wei Ning's lead, they formed the Great Thunderfire Seal with their hands and stepped through Seven Stars, moving in unison for seven steps, directing their Ziwie Sword towards Horan. 0

Wei Ning shouted fiercely, "Thunderous Radiance, Thunderbolt Strike! With divine might unleashed, annihilate the Evil Spirit!" The Thirteen Blood Corpses struck out at Horan with a powerful palm! 0

"Boom!" A thunderous roar echoed through the Blood Sea as a bolt of lightning struck down like a raging dragon into the whirlpool! 0

"What is he trying to do? Does he think he can break through with sheer force?" Peng Bai was shaken to his core. Throughout history, only one person had ever accomplished such a feat—Gonggong—and that was why there was a legend of Nüwa mending the sky. 0

"Boom!" A massive wave surged in the Blood Sea as a gap large enough for a person opened up at the seabed! 0

Blood began to surge into the opening, and the Zombies wailed in unison, rushing recklessly toward the breach. 0

Wei Ning shouted loudly, "Peng Bai, if you don't leave now, you'll be trapped here forever!" With that, Wei Ning shot down like a bolt of lightning toward the opening. Without thinking twice, Peng Bai hurriedly followed behind him to escape. 0
