Inside the room, the Destiny Seven Star Lamp belonging to Wang Tuozi flickered, its flame gradually dimming.

"What happened?" Sh Skeleton asked, noticing Wang Tuozi's unease.
Wang Tuozi shook his head with a bitter smile. "Old Man Shi, I fear I've lost this time on the Day Trip to the Underworld. It seems my useless disciple can no longer keep my Destiny Seven Star Lamp safe."
Sh Skeleton pondered for a moment before saying, "Old Wang, are you really not going? If you miss this opportunity, all your previous efforts will be in vain. The Yang Person's journey to the underworld isn't something that can be taken lightly. Besides, I can no longer survive in the Underworld or guide you on the path to the afterlife again. If you miss this chance, it may be even harder next time."
Wang Tuozi remained silent for a while before slowly raising his head and saying, "Thank you, Old Man Shi, but I truly cannot go down."
"Why? Is there something urgent happening on the surface?"
Wang Tuozi replied slowly, "The Drought Corpse has emerged."

In a flash of light, Wang Tuozi's Yin Spirit appeared in the mortal realm. With his hands clasped together, Wang Tuozi's Yin Spirit began to spin around himself continuously, completing nine rotations. At that moment, the flame of Wang Tuozi's Destiny Seven Star Lamp blazed brightly, illuminating the entire room.
Meanwhile, Lin Lingsu and Wei Ning were already locked in battle, exchanging blows without yielding. Ghosts crawled out from underground as a chilling wind swept through.
Suddenly, Wang Tuozi's Yin Spirit merged with him, his eyes opening wide as he stood up slowly. Surveying the chaotic surroundings, he stomped his foot and shouted loudly, "Nonsense!"
He rushed out of the house.
At that moment, countless Yin Spirits released by Liu Linglang were increasing in number. Some were under Liu Linglang's control, relentlessly attacking Lin Lingsu, while another group of demons and monsters seemed to be deeply attached to the mortal realm, running towards the village like marionettes. The sounds of wailing and howling echoed like rolling thunder, startling countless birds into flight, while beasts scattered in all directions. Snakes, insects, mice, and ants crawled out from the ground, fleeing in panic.
Lin Lingsu stood atop a roof, continuously using the Seven Star Sword to sever the approaching Evil Spirits. As the number of Evil Spirits grew, Lin Lingsu tossed the long sword into the air and shouted, "Mengmeng, catch me!"
Mengmeng caught it mid-air with the Six Harmonies Seal. Lin Lingsu used her toes to push off and borrowed the momentum to leap gracefully onto Mengmeng's shoulder. While stepping lightly on Mengmeng's shoulder, Lin Lingsu called out loudly, "With one foot on Yubu and my hands forming seals without pause: 'Ren Gao Protect Me', 'Ding Chou Protect Me', 'Ren He Du Wo', 'Ding You Protection', 'Ren Can Guan Hun', 'Ding Si Nourish Spirit', 'Lunar Canopy', 'Earth Door'. I walk on Yubu, Xuan Nu Zhen Ren, Mingtang Sitting and Lying, hiding and concealing myself. Swiftly as Nine Xuan Female Decree."
As Lin Lingsu finished reciting the incantation, a loud rumble echoed through the air as a gap opened up. A woman appeared in mid-air, holding two lotus flowers in her hands, dressed in red above and yellow below. Her features were exquisite, surrounded by an ethereal aura. The Yin Spirit Jade Maiden, driven by Lin Lingsu, opened her lotuses. Petals fell like rain, creating a shower of flowers; any Evil Spirit that touched this celestial treasure transformed into green smoke.
From Mengmeng's shoulder, Lin Lingsu shouted, "Wei Ning! Is this really the time for us to be entangled? If you don't stop these Evil Spirits from rampaging through the mortal world, you will face dire consequences."
"This is absolute nonsense!" At that moment, Wang Tuozi arrived and shouted angrily at Wei Ning and Liu Linglang, trembling with rage. "Do you even know what you're doing?"
Without waiting for a response, Wang Tuozi began forming hand seals with both hands while stepping forward in a sequence of seven steps: Li, Zhi, Huo, Zun, Sheng. He shouted loudly: "Kill them back to the earth! Kill them back to their years! Kill them back to their months! Please assist me in slaying these beings in the mortal realm!"
"Ah!" Liu Linglang turned pale first and began trembling uncontrollably as she instinctively hid behind Wei Ning.
Suddenly, a surge of white energy shot up into the sky, piercing through nine heavens. Where the white light shone, Evil Spirits fled in panic amidst cries of alarm. Even the Yin-Yang deities summoned by Lin Lingsu dimmed under this radiant light.
Wang Chuyi's energy slowly condensed into shape until it transformed into a monkey about a foot tall. This monkey had bright red eyes and emitted a crimson glow. It let out a roar that echoed like thunder, shaking everyone’s minds and causing blood to surge within them; the spirits were thrown into chaos. The sound waves crashed down like a tidal wave; all buildings creaked and shattered under the force as debris flew everywhere.
The monkey was engulfed in flames that seemed almost tangible; its entire body was wrapped in fire. At this moment, the Net of Earth was about to touch down; cracks in the ground widened further as countless creatures that had just emerged from below hurriedly retreated underground again. The Drought Corpse's radiance surged violently wherever it went; red light spread outwards as fierce flames erupted. Waves of fire danced wildly like oil poured onto flames—there was no way to stop its advance as it rained down like meteor showers amidst deafening roars…
Lin Lingsu stood on Mengmeng's shoulder, staring blankly at the magnificent blaze, murmuring, "It's madness, all madness. Everything is over."
At that moment, Wang Tuozi shouted, "Kid, where's your Jade Maiden's counter-seal?"
Wang Tuozi's words jolted Lin Lingsu from his stupor. It suddenly dawned on him that in order to prevent Wei Ning and Wang Tuozi from using Dao Techniques, he had already set up a counter-seal. In this situation, he was the one in control.
Lin Lingsu declared loudly, "Drawing the earth's formation, stepping out the door, entering the ground's entrance, reversing three and five, low and high steps of the martial arts, manifest for me! I carry the sun and moon beneath my feet, traversing the Big Dipper; Azure Dragon, White Tiger; Vermilion Bird, Black Tortoise, Xiong Chen, and Teng She ride with me. As we move to a certain place, patrolling left and right, stopping and going as we please, lying down or rising up at will, banishing thieves and dispelling ghosts."
As he chanted the incantation, Lin Lingsu formed a seal with his left hand to summon spirits and another with his right hand to exorcise demons. Suddenly, Azure Dragon and White Tiger; Vermilion Bird and Black Tortoise; Xiong Chen and Teng She appeared in mid-air, swirling and rolling amidst the swirling clouds. The six beasts roared in unison as ghosts fled in terror. Fireballs howled around them in chaotic bursts.
Once Lin Lingsu finished his incantation, he felt his energy surge within him. With a sudden closing of his eyes and a softening of his body, he fell directly from the shoulder of the Sun God Jade Man into the depths of the Ninth Underworld.
