"Beast, how dare you!" Xu Suwen exclaimed as a pitch-black object shot from his hand, piercing one side of Wu Haozi's body. With a surge of inner strength, he tightened the binding rope. Although Wu Haozi's feet seemed rooted to the ground, his upper body was pulled slightly to the side by the immense force. This minuscule difference allowed Wu Haozi's sharp fangs to barely graze Lin Lingsu's skin, preventing him from sinking deeper. Lin Lingsu quickly sprang away, narrowly escaping disaster. 0

"Capture him!" Xu Suwen shouted. The black rope in his hand coiled around Wu Haozi like a serpent. Several close disciples behind him, mimicking Xu Suwen, unleashed their own black ropes from their sleeves with a series of whooshing sounds. The ropes pierced Wu Haozi's body and sprang out barbs that hooked into his skin. The disciples shot their ropes in various directions, and soon a dense net was woven around Wu Haozi. The more he struggled, the tighter the net became. 0

"Mengmeng, hit him hard," Lin Lingsu commanded coldly, her voice carrying an air of authority. She bit down on her silver teeth and formed Taoist hand seals. In mid-air, the Golden Armored Deity summoned the Six Harmonies Seal and unleashed a relentless barrage upon Wu Haozi. 0

Wu Haozi's head was driven into the ground, but Lin Lingsu showed no signs of relent, directing the Golden Armored Deity to continue striking downwards. 0

"Lin," Xu Suwen whispered urgently, "Have you got him?" 0

Suddenly, a piercing scream from Wu Haozi shattered the tense silence. He pulled his hands back, yanking several disciples towards him in a collision that resulted in broken bones and gruesome deaths on the ground. 0

Xu Suwen's expression shifted rapidly as he hastily loosened the black rope in his hands. 0

With another powerful tug, all the ropes binding Wu Haozi snapped with loud cracks. 0

"Monster! Do you truly believe you are immortal?" Xu Suwen felt a gust of wind rush past him as a figure darted by like lightning, charging straight at Wu Haozi. Despite being splattered with blood and her clothes stained crimson, Lin Lingsu remained stunningly beautiful and composed. She formed hand seals again, conjuring a massive sword several times larger than herself, its blade shimmering with an otherworldly light that indicated it was no ordinary weapon. 0

The great sword descended towards Wu Haozi with Lin Lingsu's fierce cry echoing behind it. 0

Wu Haozi looked up at the sword but found himself unable to evade it due to Lin Lingsu's sudden assault. The sword struck down upon his head, cleaving him in two! 0

One half was Blood Corpse; the other half remained human. 0

"Mengmeng! Collect his Soul!" Lin Lingsu commanded sharply. 0

The Golden Armored General nodded and conjured the Golden Bell Shield that Wei Ning had once used during his Five Thunder Palm technique, aiming it at Wu Haozi's severed human half. 0

A clear shadow was drawn into the Golden Bell Shield. 0

"This monster's Soul has been captured!" Xu Suwen announced loudly as his disciples unleashed their swords towards Wu Haozi's remaining half-body. Combined with the initial swords embedded in him, Wu Haozi became like a porcupine, his skin almost entirely covered in needles. 0

"Master!" Wu Haozi howled from his half-body position. His blood-soaked garments flapped wildly in the wind as if shaking the very earth beneath him, producing a resonant echo that matched his howl—a powerful display that left all Dragon Tiger Mountain disciples reeling from the intensity of sound. 0

With a thud, Wu Haozi's knees buckled, and he sank to one knee. 0

The sound echoed across the bloody and foul battlefield, thunder rumbling in the sky, harmonizing with one another. 0

"Keep attacking!" Lin Lingsu shouted frantically, her face twisted in rage, a chill radiating from her. She furiously gestured with her sword, commanding the Golden Armored Deity and the Six Harmonies Seal to relentlessly strike down at Wu Haozi's half-formed Blood Corpse. 0

Boom! Boom! Boom!! 0

The massive sounds reverberated throughout the area. All the disciples held their breath, watching Lin Lingsu's frenzied actions. It felt as if silence had suddenly enveloped the ground; amidst the battlefield, only the howling wind pierced through the cold, leaving everything still. All attention was focused on Lin Lingsu and the Golden Armored Deity as it continued to pound down with the Six Harmonies Seal. 0

One strike after another, wave after wave; time seemed to stretch indefinitely… 0

"Lin…" Xu Suwen said in a low voice as he approached and wrapped his arms around Lin Lingsu. 0

"Leave me alone!" Lin Lingsu pushed Xu Suwen away forcefully, her expression contorted as she screamed madly, "Keep hitting! Kill this monster…" 0

"Lin!!..." Xu Suwen embraced her again, looking into her blood-red eyes. "This is enough…" 0

Lin Lingsu's body trembled as she finally snapped out of her frenzy. Weakly waving her hand, she halted the Golden Armored Deity's assault. Supporting herself on one knee, she placed her other hand on her rapidly heaving chest; she was nearly too exhausted to stand. 0

All the disciples gazed at the monster that had been severed in two. 0

Time froze in that moment as every disciple's gaze fixated on Wu Haozi's half-body. 0

A colossal question weighed heavily in their hearts: Had they captured him? 0

Wu Haozi's half Blood Corpse had been driven several meters deep into the ground under the immense pressure of the Golden Armored Deity, creating a massive pit several meters long and deep around him. 0

With a crack, Wu Haozi's remaining head tilted downwards, his body slumping forward at an angle. Due to the numerous swords embedded in him, he could only lean forward without touching the ground. 0

"He’s dead." One disciple spoke up first, and soon all the disciples erupted in cheers. Although they were all battered and bruised, feeling as if their bodies were falling apart from pain, they had won. 0

Winning meant they would not end up like their fallen companions scattered across the wilderness, their bones left unrecognizable. 0

Everyone was genuinely happy to be alive. 0

Lin Lingsu wiped the blood from her face, a cruel smile creeping onto her lips. She touched the shallow scar on her face; she had won, but the price paid was far too heavy. 0

"Lin," Xu Suwen approached and whispered, "What you just did... I've never seen you with that kind of expression before... Are you okay?" 0

Lin Lingsu fixed her gaze on Wu Haozi's lifeless body and spoke each word with conviction, "Dig this monster out for me. I want him ground to dust..." 0

"He's already dead..." 0

Lin Lingsu shot Xu Suwen a deep look, the chilling intensity in her eyes made Xu Suwen shiver involuntarily. "Can you guarantee that this creature is truly dead?" 0

Xu Suwen felt uneasy under her stare and replied instinctively, "Yes." 0

Suddenly, Lin Lingsu seemed to remember something, murmuring, "No. No..." 0

Xu Suwen frowned and asked, "What's wrong?" 0

"Not good!" Lin Lingsu exclaimed in alarm. "We've fallen into a trap. We need to go back immediately." Without another word, she shot off in one direction. 0
