Humans possess the Three Souls and Seven Spirits, a well-known fact. When a person is about to die, the Seven Souls disperse first, followed by the departure of the Three Souls, after which the Soul Reaper takes away their spirit, marking the end of that life. Then, they are accounted for in the Underworld, where some ascend to immortality, some descend to hell, and others undergo reincarnation to complete their next cycle. 0

However, few know that in addition to the Three Souls and Seven Spirits, humans also have a single soul known as the Soul. 0

The Soul does not necessarily cling to the body like the Three Souls and Seven Spirits but can exist in the Underworld. For instance, when a person is on the brink of death, lying motionless in their bed while waiting for the inevitable, their family members might catch glimpses of them elsewhere—perhaps outside a window, at the door, or in a corner of the bathroom—while that person remains in bed. What they see is indeed this person's Soul. The Soul senses its impending demise and begins to linger around its loved ones, appearing frequently before them. One of the Soul's most significant characteristics is its strong yang energy; it is not easily frightened by the living's yang energy or even by sunlight. Thus, it can manifest and even be seen by others. 0

In Dao Techniques, extracting a person's Three Souls and Seven Spirits is a complex process. As previously mentioned in the method of Nurturing Ghosts, there exists a technique for extracting souls that is intricate and time-consuming. To separate a person's Soul from their body—especially if they are still alive—is an even greater challenge. Most Daoists find it exceedingly difficult to accomplish this task, and it is considered a very malicious form of Dao magic; those who strip away a Soul risk shortening their own lifespan. 0

If a person's Soul is removed, they are certain to die within a year, and their death will be remarkably peaceful, akin to passing away without illness. In ancient times, many wealthy nobles would often hire unscrupulous Daoists to extract the Souls of their enemies. 0

The practitioners of Dragon Tiger Mountain and the Zhengyi Sect have a rich tradition of soul extraction. However, as they pride themselves on being righteous sects, they tacitly avoid discussing these malevolent Dao Techniques. Publicly mentioning such practices, as Xu Suwen did, is considered taboo. 0

Wu Haozi has already made a deal with the Soul-Eating Doll and has surrendered his Three Souls and Seven Spirits; however, his Soul remains intact. This single Soul ensures that he retains some semblance of consciousness. At this moment, Wu Haozi is not yet a complete Blood Corpse nor has he undergone refinement; thus, his power cannot be compared to the thirteen genuine Blood Corpses cultivated by Wei Xianjun back in the day. Nevertheless, he remains formidable. 0

Lin Lingsu nodded and said, "It must be done... All disciples of Dragon Tiger Mountain, heed my command and set up formation!" 0

"Mengmeng, assist me!" Lin Lingsu shouted as another Seven Star Sword materialized in his hand. He stepped into the Seven Star Step while reciting incantations: 0

"Ding Chou extends my life; Ding Hai binds my soul. Ding You forms my spirit; Ding Wei averts my disaster. Ding Si navigates my peril; Ding Yin guides me through adversity. Jiazi protects my body; Jia Xu preserves my form. Jia Shen solidifies my life; Jiawu guards my soul. Jia Chen pacifies my spirit; Jia Yin nurtures my essence." 0

With a thunderous roar accompanying crashing thunderclaps in an overcast sky, a massive Golden Armored Deity suddenly appeared amidst a rift in the clouds, illuminating everything below with golden light. 0

The disciples of Dragon Tiger Mountain had undergone rigorous training; this elite force was personally cultivated by Lin Lingsu himself. Despite Wu Haozi's ferocity, these disciples understood one crucial truth: either you die or I do. 0

Faced with the threat of death, humanity can often unleash abilities beyond imagination. 0

Several disciples steeled themselves as they gripped their Azure Light Swords with icy resolve. Even though Wu Haozi managed to gut several disciples in that moment, for every one that fell, another took their place in formation. A super formation comprising hundreds of individuals was quickly established! 0

"Mengmeng, summon my Six Harmonies Seal!" 0

Lin Lingsu shouted as he formed hand seals in midair. A square seal measuring about one foot appeared prominently before him—this was Lin Lingsu's ultimate weapon. 0

The seal was crafted from high-quality Thunderstruck Jujube Wood. Lin Lingsu had spent three years in fasting and burning incense to create this seal, carving it in a dark room. It was said that this seal possessed incredible powers, being a top-tier artifact from the Taoist Qimen Dunjia. 0

The Six Harmonies Seal spun in the air, then slowly enlarged. The Golden Armored Deity pressed down on the seal and aimed it at Wu Haozi. 0

Suddenly, a loud "boom" echoed, followed by a cacophony of screams and shouts, as if hundreds of ghosts were wailing in unison. In the deep darkness of the night, the sound was deafening, and to everyone's shock, Wu Haozi was half-buried in the ground! 0

"Form the Ten Directions Sealing Formation!" The formation aimed to seal all directions: up, down, east, south, west, north, life, death, past, and future. Its power was unparalleled, surpassing all sword formations of Dragon Tiger. 0

"Aoo!!!!" Wu Haozi let out a chilling cry. 0

"It feels pain!!" Lin Lingsu shouted. The fact that it felt pain indicated that it was not an immortal Blood Corpse. As long as it wasn't indestructible, Lin Lingsu was confident she could disperse it. 0

Lin Lingsu raised her hand, and all the Dragon Tiger disciples felt invigorated as they simultaneously cut their wrists with their swords. 0

Blood stained the entire blade. 0

Using blood to sacrifice the sword greatly increased its yang energy by more than tenfold. The first batch of disciples had already woven their swords into a net and thrust them directly into Wu Haozi's body. 0

"Strike again!" Lin Lingsu yelled as the Golden Armored Deity brought down the Six Harmonies Seal upon Wu Haozi once more. 0

"Ah!!" Wu Haozi raised both hands to block the descending Six Harmonies Seal. 0

"Pierce!!!" Another ten disciples behind them thrust their swords directly into Wu Haozi's body. 0

Swords pierced through its body, face, and back; Wu Haozi had become like a porcupine. 0

Wu Haozi roared defiantly, using force to pull half of its body out of the ground. It moved like lightning and charged straight at Lin Lingsu. 0

Lin Lingsu was taken aback; she hadn't expected Wu Haozi to possess intelligence and understand the principle of capturing the leader to defeat the bandits. She quickly sidestepped, narrowly avoiding Wu Haozi's bloody hand as it swiped past her flawless face. 0

A drop of blood, two drops of blood, three drops of blood... 0

Lin Lingsu touched her face; although the wound was not deep, blood had already covered her features. 0

A woman, a beautiful woman, a woman as proud and stunning as Lin Lingsu herself. 0

What does it mean to leave a scar on a face? 0

You can kill a woman, but if you mar her face... 0

It would be better to kill her... 0

Lin Lingsu let out a sharp, ghostly wail, her once exquisite face now completely twisted in rage as she glared at Wu Haozi. 0

"Go... die..." 0

Lin Lingsu was consumed by fury, charging recklessly toward Wu Haozi when suddenly she heard Xu Suwen's voice calling out, "Lin, calm down..." 0

Lin Lingsu halted abruptly, but at that moment, Wu Haozi was already beside her, baring four sharp teeth and lunging for Lin Lingsu's snow-white neck... 0
