Maid Granny glanced at the clock; it was already past three in the afternoon. Given their large number and that they were all women, they had taken care to avoid drawing attention from the people of Dragon Tiger Mountain. For the past few days, they had chosen treacherous and sparsely populated mountain paths, traveling by night and only resting during the day in abandoned Charity Halls. 0

Maid Granny said, "Bring me that bowl of water. Let's see where Ningzi is." 0

Before long, Wei Mother and the others brought a bowl of clear water. Maid Granny took out a talisman from her pocket and burned it in the water. Instantly, the surface became murky, but soon it began to clear up, revealing several large characters: "I am at the foot of Dragon Tiger Mountain, proceeding as planned." 0

Maid Granny nodded. "It seems Ningzi is doing well. Let's pack up and start our operation according to plan." 0

Earlier, Maid Granny had communicated with Wei Ning using the Thousand-Mile Sound Transmission Talisman. If they had used a mobile phone or other modern communication tools, it would have been hard to avoid interception by those at Dragon Tiger Mountain. So far, this ancient technique passed down from ancestors was still the most reliable. 0

Disguised as pilgrims, Maid Granny and her companions blended into the bustling crowd at Dragon Tiger Mountain, where incense offerings were always plentiful. They were not particularly conspicuous among the throngs of worshippers, especially since they deliberately kept their distance from one another. 0

Upon reaching the foot of the mountain, they headed toward a specific path. Having entered and exited Dragon Tiger Mountain several times before, they were well-acquainted with its terrain. Thus, even though this path leading into the heart of Dragon Tiger Mountain was little known, it certainly did not escape Maid Granny's ears, who was adept at Fried Skeleton Fortune-Telling. 0

The group walked cautiously along the mountain path. There was no one else on this route today, so their journey was smooth. The winding trail led deeper into the mountains until suddenly, just as they were about to reach the back of Dragon Tiger Mountain, an old man appeared out of nowhere and blocked their way. 0

Maid Granny waved her hand to stop everyone and stared at the old man for a moment before saying stiffly, "It's you. What are you doing here?" 0

The old man slowly turned around and smiled. "I thought time would change things—faces would change; everything in this world would change. I didn't expect you to recognize me at first glance." 0

Maid Granny replied coolly, "Even if you turned to ashes, I would still recognize that bone as yours." 0

The old man smiled back. "It's been decades since we last met. Why do you still have such a fiery temper? You're not young anymore; shouldn't you tone it down a bit? Right, Fang'er?" 0

Maid Granny remained silent, glaring fiercely at the old man. "What are you doing here? Wei Xian Gui!" 0

At the mention of Wei Xian Gui's name, gasps erupted among the women. Aunt Nine had already formed a hand seal and shouted loudly, "Come forth and take your life, Dog Thief!" as she threw out a talisman. 0

"Return my husband's life!" 0

"Go to hell!" 0

The women surged forward, and Wei Xian Gui was suddenly struck by seven or eight talismans, with three or four long swords piercing into her body. Wei Xian Gui did not move; she simply watched the women from the Wei Family attack her. The women felt the Evil Energy emanating from Wei Xian Gui growing heavier, as if it had a tangible form, suffocating them. 0

Suddenly, Wei Xian Gui smiled lightly, tearing off the swords and talismans embedded in her body and casually tossing them to the ground. 0

This seemingly careless action caused fear to flash in the eyes of all the women from the Wei Family. They hated this person to the core, and what they had just unleashed were their most skilled techniques. 0

Except for Maid Granny, none of them had ever seen Wei Xian Gui before. The tales about her circulated secretly among them; they all knew that she was incredibly powerful, but they never expected that she could be immune to both magical and physical attacks! 0

How could they continue this fight? How could they seek revenge? 0

Maid Granny was the only one who had not attacked. She had been watching Wei Xian Gui closely. After stopping her sisters-in-law from launching another assault, she spoke up: "Are you here for Ning?" 0

Wei Xian Gui stood with her hands behind her back, exuding an effortless elegance. "Ning is one of us from the Wei Family. How could I possibly let him fall into the hands of those at Dragon Tiger Mountain?" 0

Maid Granny interrupted sharply, "You have no right to call yourself a member of the Wei Family because you have long since died!" 0

Wei Xian Gui shook her head. "You're mistaken. I am not dead, but I am not alive either. To you, I may just be a monster, but you cannot understand my suffering." 0

Maid Granny replied coldly, "We do not understand; we only know that you are selfish, cold-blooded, hypocritical, and self-serving. We do not need someone like you in the Wei Family!" 0

Wei Xian Gui looked at Maid Granny softly and said, "Fang, wasn't Grandpa your favorite? You wouldn't have spoken to me like this before." 0

"What a joke! I only regret that Great-Grandfather didn't kill you with a single blow back then, leaving behind this calamity to harm our descendants in the Wei Family even after your death." 0

Wei Xian Gui shook his head and said, "I don't want to discuss this with you. This is my matter; they are all my bloodline, and it's not wrong for them to return to me in the end." 0

At that moment, Wei Mother stepped forward, suddenly kneeling beside Wei Xian Gui and crying, "I don't care how you treated my husband in the past. I only ask you to spare Ning'er, okay? He is the only bloodline left in our Wei Family. If he dies too, the Wei Family will go extinct!" 0

Wei Xian Gui replied coldly, "I know how to handle this. I like that boy Wei Ning; he is clever, but sometimes he can be stubborn and inflexible. As the saying goes, jade must be carved to become a gem. Sometimes, letting him suffer a little is beneficial." 0

"But if we don't go to rescue him, he'll fall into the hands of the disciples from Dragon Tiger Mountain, and they'll skin him alive and leave him without a burial place!" 0

"I naturally know how to handle this. Those ruffians from Dragon Tiger Mountain want to lay their hands on our Wei Family. Don't forget that I'm still here. Matters concerning the Wei Family can only be managed by the Wei Family; they have no right to interfere!" 0

Maid Granny urged anxiously, "Then why are you standing in our way? If we delay any longer, the consequences will be unimaginable." 0

Wei Xian Gui waved his hand dismissively and said, "I know what I'm doing; you all should go back." 0

"Go back?!" Everyone was taken aback and exclaimed, "What about Wei Ning?" 0

Wei Xian Gui frowned and replied, "I know what I'm doing; that boy needs some training as well." 0

The others were unwilling to leave without descending the mountain and stood their ground. Wei Xian Gui shouted angrily, "Are you really not afraid that I will kill you all right here?" 0
