Once White Wolf had completely given up resisting, Chu Donglin took a deep breath and dragged the fellow into the shadows of the area, away from the sunlight.
A Second-Stage Zombie exposed to sunlight for an extended period not only suffers greatly but also experiences a significant reduction in strength, potentially even dying from sun exposure—this was why White Wolf had lost its ability to resist so quickly.
However, to be honest, even as a Second-Stage Zombie, Chu Donglin could not possibly drag such a massive White Wolf solely by his own strength.
After all, he was not a strength-based Zombie.
Fortunately, there were many Mutated Zombies and Low-Level Zombies nearby that he could command. These Low-Level Zombies were not on the same level as him, so Chu Donglin could control them without any difficulty.
With the help of dozens of Zombies, Chu Donglin finally managed to pull the enormous White Wolf into the shadows.
He then used ropes to bind this nearly lifeless fellow, tying all four of its paws in the air so that even if it regained its strength, it would have no way to struggle free.
After a busy half hour, he finally secured this fellow. Chu Donglin hurried back to the corpse of the Second-Stage Tentacle Monster.
The Evolution Crystal from a High-Level Zombie was highly attractive to Low-Level Zombies. If it weren't for Chu Donglin constantly controlling the nearby Low-Level Zombies, they would have already fought over the Tentacle Zombie's Evolution Crystal.
Effortlessly extracting the Evolution Crystal from the Tentacle Zombie, ignoring the pleading gazes of the surrounding Low-Level Zombies, Chu Donglin wiped off the blood and swallowed this Second Stage crystal in one gulp.
"Gulp."
After the crystal went down his throat, those surrounding Mutated Zombies, who had been watching eagerly, dispersed in disappointment and returned their attention to the corpses scattered across the square.
Not bothering with how these Zombies would feast on the bodies of the survivors, once Chu Donglin consumed the Evolution Crystal, he immediately returned to the shadows of a residential area.
Here, shielded from sunlight, the battered White Wolf, free from exposure, finally regained some strength.
However, when it opened its Blood-red Eyes and looked at Chu Donglin, they were still filled with rage and hatred.
It was clear that if it weren't for the fact that it was currently immobilized, it would have lunged at its enemy and bitten him a couple of times without hesitation.
"Hey... don't look at me like that. No matter how upset you are, you can't escape now."
Feeling a warm current rising in his abdomen after consuming the Evolution Crystal, Chu Donglin stretched lazily and approached the White Wolf. "You made me wreck a motorcycle, forcing me and Xing'er to walk. Our journey has been greatly delayed... Aren't you even a little bit remorseful?"
"Roar! Roar roar!" The angry growl echoed.
"Oh? You do feel guilty? You want to make it up to me?"
"Roar roar!" Still filled with rage.
"Hahaha... You want to be my mode of transportation? How embarrassing!"
"Roar roar roar!" The growl was filled with anger, as if it wanted nothing more than to bite Chu Donglin.
"Alright, alright. Since you're sincerely begging me, I'll graciously fulfill your request... From now on, you'll obediently be my mode of transportation."
Chu Donglin chuckled to himself as he placed his hand on the White Wolf's head, pouring his mental power into it without reservation.
In an instant, the previously feeble White Wolf began to struggle with madness.
The fear of being enslaved triggered the instincts of the High-Level Zombie, causing it to thrash about in an attempt to break free from Chu Donglin's Mental Control.
However, its body was already on the brink of collapse. Even though the survival instinct of a Zombie urged it on, its battered form could no longer muster any significant strength.
Soon, Chu Donglin's Mental Power gradually entered the White Wolf's mind, where the Mental Power's tentacles wrapped around the Evolution Crystal within its brain, swiftly forming seeds of Mental Power.
The White Wolf's struggles and roars were filled with madness, but in its weakened state, it could hardly resist for long.
Within less than two hours, Chu Donglin's Mental Power clashed with the spiritual sea of the White Wolf, implanting a Mental Seed into the crystalline structure of the White Wolf's brain.
Before him, the White Wolf's body stiffened, and its previously violent struggles gradually calmed down.
When it looked at Chu Donglin again, there was no trace of hatred in its blood-red eyes, only unparalleled submission.
Observing the somewhat fatigued Chu Donglin, who was propping himself up on his knees and panting, the White Wolf even nuzzled him affectionately with its head, resembling a well-behaved Husky.
Satisfied with the now-tamed White Wolf, Chu Donglin smiled.
He untied the bindings on the White Wolf and then controlled all the Mutated Zombies in the square to come over.
He instructed these Mutated Zombies to line up in front of the White Wolf and forcibly restrained them with his Mental Power to prevent any movement. Chu Donglin turned back and flashed a smile at the weakened White Wolf.
"I'll give you these fellows as a gift. Don't be polite; eat as much as you want. Hurry up and recover from your injuries; we need to set off soon."
The White Wolf glanced at Chu Donglin, understanding his intent. It opened its massive jaws and bit down on one of the Mutated Zombie's heads, crushing both its brain and the Evolution Crystal within before swallowing it whole.
As their kin was devoured, the remaining Mutated Zombies trembled in fear.
However, under the intimidation of two Second-Stage Zombies, they didn't dare to flee and could only shiver in place, waiting for the White Wolf to continue its feast.
As for Chu Donglin, he ascended the stairs back to the third-floor room where Liu Xiner was located, leaving behind what was happening below.
On the balcony, when Chu Donglin pushed open the door and stepped inside, he noticed a complex expression on the girl's face.
She had witnessed everything that transpired within those brief two hours from her vantage point on the balcony. The brutal reality of survival in a zombie world had been laid bare before her for the first time in such a bloody manner.
Moreover, the annihilation of over five hundred Survivors had inflicted a significant psychological impact on her.
When Chu Donglin pushed open the door and walked in, she suddenly lunged forward, tightly wrapping her arms around his waist. The girl buried her head in Chu Donglin's embrace, trembling slightly.
"Brother-in-law..."
"Yes?"
"I... can I ask you for one thing, Xing'er?"
The girl looked up at Chu Donglin with worry and apprehension, softly pleading, "In the future, unless absolutely necessary, could you... could you please not kill innocents?"
Chu Donglin was taken aback for a moment, gently lifting the girl's face and kissing her slightly dry lips.
"Do you think it's wrong for me to kill these people?"
The girl shook her head, looking distressed.
"I know you're not a senseless killer, Brother-in-law. I also understand that these people are all wicked and deserve their fate; killing them is a good thing for everyone. But... they are still human. So many humans... once they're gone, they're gone..."

In her eyes, which were filled with distress and on the verge of tears, Chu Donglin couldn't help but smile.
"So if that time comes, will you abandon me, Xing'er?"
"Of course not!"
Her answer was firm and unwavering, but she clutched the fabric of Chu Donglin's chest tightly and murmured, "But if you become like that, no one will like you anymore. Sister... Sister will really never be able to be with you again."
Chu Donglin was taken aback, his expression darkening.
“Xing'er…”
He took a deep breath, gripping the girl's shoulders tightly as he looked seriously at her, whose gaze was evasive. “What do you think of me?”
“I… I see you as my brother-in-law…” The girl avoided Chu Donglin's eyes, mumbling, “I’ve always liked my brother-in-law…”
“Do you want me to get back together with your sister?”
“I… I…”
The girl hesitated for a moment before timidly nodding her head.
“My sister has always treated me well, and I hope she can be happy. I know she’s been waiting for you to come back to her…”
Chu Donglin laughed in anger. “Since you want me to go back to your sister, why are you still doing those things with me? Aren’t you afraid your sister will find out and be furious?”
“Xing'er… Xing'er just wants a little affection from her brother-in-law…”
The girl lowered her head and murmured, “Anyway, if it’s Xing'er, my sister wouldn’t blame me even if she found out…”
“So you think I won’t blame you?”
“My brother-in-law treats Xing'er the best; he definitely wouldn’t blame me.”
