The first to leap out was a bald middle-aged man.
His grayish-white eyes were identical to those of Chu Donglin, but he was merely an Ordinary Zombie.
If it weren't for being driven and enslaved by Chu Donglin, this type of Zombie would never dare to approach, let alone attack him, sensing his presence.
His skin was pale, his cheeks sunken, and his eyeballs slightly bulging as if they could burst with a gentle squeeze.
In his vacant gaze, aside from the hunger for raw flesh, there was no trace left of the arrogance and self-importance he once possessed.
This middle-aged man, who had once severed all of Chu Donglin's prospects with his own hands, now roared as he lunged forward, his yellowed teeth stained with dried blood—whether it belonged to him or a relative was uncertain.
As the Zombie lunged forward, Chu Donglin at the door did not hesitate; he brandished a Machete and met the attack head-on.
There was no hint of sympathy in his cold gaze; the swinging blade showed no mercy.
Whether it was an enemy with whom he had a longstanding grudge or an ordinary person he had never met, he would not hold back.
With a swift motion, the blade fell.
Thud—
Blood splattered everywhere.
The first middle-aged Zombie let out a wretched howl as his body was cleaved in two; his headless corpse was kicked away by Chu Donglin.
Following closely behind was the second Zombie to leap out—a Middle-Aged Maid.
Its skin was dry and wrinkled, resembling the dark peel of a rotten orange. With a lifeless gaze, it managed to let out a roar before Chu Donglin cleaved off half of its head with a single stroke.
Blood and brain matter splattered, mingled with fragments of shattered bone.
As the Zombies charged forward, Chu Donglin did not retreat an inch; instead, he surged into the fray.
With a swift flick of his sharp blade, he sent the Middle-Aged Maid flying while simultaneously stabbing through the skull of the third Zombie.
As blood poured from the gaping hole in its forehead, Chu Donglin kicked it squarely in the chest.
The powerful force not only sent this Zombie crashing into the living room but also knocked down the two Zombies that followed closely behind, sending them sprawling at the entrance.
The bloodied blade twisted in the air, and in an instant, two more heads rolled away.

The last two Zombies fell apart at the entrance, their bodies severed.
At that moment, outside the door, Liu Xiner finally covered her mouth in shock, her expression one of terror.
This series of swift and decisive killings was completed within ten seconds. When Liu Xiner snapped back to reality from her fear of the attacking Zombies, she found a chaotic scene at the entrance, littered with bodies, leaving only a cold figure standing with its back to her.
Dark red blood dripped slowly from the blade hanging at Chu Donglin's side.
Against the backdrop of dismembered corpses around him, in that moment, he appeared as a Cold-hearted and ruthless killing machine.
Liu Xiner covered her mouth and took a couple of steps back, her eyes filled with fear.
The girl had seen death and slaughter before, but the moment Chu Donglin, the Cold-hearted one, made his move, the ruthless and icy aura he exuded felt unfamiliar to her.
Chu Donglin turned around and smiled at her. "How is it? Are these Zombies scaring you?"
That familiar sunny smile momentarily stunned Liu Xiner, making it hard for her to connect the man who had just been so cold-blooded with the Chu Donglin standing before her now.
At least that warm and sunny smile temporarily dispelled the doubts and fears in her heart. She forced a smile and glanced at the several corpses in the foyer.
It was not unexpected; among the five bodies lay her relatives.
Two of them were people Liu Xiner had never seen before. Judging by their attire, they were likely maids employed in the villa.
The remaining three bodies belonged to her uncle, aunt, and that cousin who always loved to drive flashy cars recklessly.
Familiar faces of loved ones were right in front of her, yet they were already separated by life and death. Although she had mentally prepared herself, Liu Xiner still felt a pang of sorrow.
Her shoulders trembled slightly as Chu Donglin gently wrapped his arms around her.
"Take care," he said softly.
In such moments, all he could offer were these pale words of comfort.
Once Liu Xiner's emotions settled down a bit, Chu Donglin finally released her and walked into the living room.
"Do we need to bury them?"
Standing in the living room, Chu Donglin turned to the girl behind him and asked.
Liu Xiner shook her head, rejecting the suggestion.
"No, it's not necessary."
She shook her head again, a hint of sadness on her face. "It's too dangerous here. We shouldn't stay any longer. If we have the chance in the future, we can come back to check."
However, these bodies would soon decay completely.
Both the girl and Chu Donglin knew that after leaving this time, there would be no reason to return.
He sighed, saying nothing, and stepped outside first.
"Let's continue on our way."
Since they had confirmed the fate of these people, there was no need for them to linger any longer.
Moreover, the possibility of a High-Level Zombie nearby made Chu Donglin feel uneasy.
Although he couldn't smell the presence of that Mutated Zombie, his instincts as a Zombie were warning him—he had already stepped into the territory of some High-Level Zombie.

As they returned to the entrance of the villa, the two rode off on the motorcycle.
This time, Liu Xiner no longer chatted eagerly with Chu Donglin as she had at the beginning of their journey, asking questions and curiously inquiring about what he had done during the more than a year he had been away.
Instead, she quietly nestled behind him, tightly wrapping her arms around his waist, pressing her face against his back, remaining silent.
Understanding that the girl was in a bad mood, Chu Donglin chose not to disturb her.
He navigated through several turns on the motorcycle before stopping at the entrance of the district.
Ahead, on the long street outside the district, a tall White Wolf was slowly making its way across.
Its massive body stood two meters high, with Silver Shimmering Fur glistening under the sunlight, radiating a beautiful sheen.
The Streamlined Body exuded strength; when its enormous Wolf Claw struck the ground, it left deep scratches on the wooden planks.
This creature was a monstrous beast, a giant wolf comparable in size to a bus!
At the moment Chu Donglin's motorcycle came to a halt, the passing White Wolf noticed the commotion and slightly turned its head to look over.
In its Blood-red Eyes, there was a hint of confusion... and surprise.
This Second-Stage White Wolf, an old acquaintance of Chu Donglin's, stood in the sunlight, gazing at him from hundreds of meters away, its eyes revealing an expression of astonishment.
It seemed perplexed and surprised that Chu Donglin had appeared in its territory.
Across a long street, hundreds of meters away, a man and a wolf stared at each other in silence, time seemingly frozen.
Three seconds later, Chu Donglin turned without hesitation. The motorcycle roared to life with the sound of Fury, racing off in another direction.
The howling wind rushed past Chu Donglin's ears, but along with it came the terrifying roar of the White Wolf behind him.
"Awwooo!!!"
The massive sound wave spread outwards, shattering several windows in the nearby houses along the street.
Then, a fierce gust swept through, and the ground trembled violently.
In the motorcycle's rearview mirror, Chu Donglin saw the White Wolf leap dozens of meters towards him.
As it landed, its enormous body smashed into a parked car by the roadside, reducing it to a pile of debris with countless parts scattering everywhere.
Without a moment's hesitation or pause, this terrifying creature—like a mythical beast from ancient tales—roared and howled as it chased after Chu Donglin.
Despite the motorcycle speeding at over sixty miles per hour, it could not shake off the wolf; instead, the distance between them continued to close!
