I tied him up, and surprisingly, the bowl didn’t cry anymore, just standing to the side with a silly grin. 0

She stepped forward and kicked each of the thugs on the ground, spitting disdainfully as she laughed, "Haha! This is really interesting! Brother Xia, do you think they will call for help?" 0

I nodded. Since I dared to stir up trouble, I wouldn’t let the Boss take the fall. I hadn’t had anyone to practice my skills on yet, and I planned to take down these thugs all at once! 0

In a moment of distraction, the thugs on the ground got up, muttering some threats before hastily fleeing. 0

The Boss approached, patting me on the shoulder and nodding. "Don't worry. Since I've stepped in, I'm not afraid to go all out. Seeing that you all have some skills, we’re brothers in this world; I’m definitely keeping this friend of mine!" With that, the Boss set up a banquet for me to sit at while we waited for their reinforcements. 0

Just two minutes later, a voice came from the entrance: "What’s going on? Who tied this person up here?" 0

Four burly men stood at the door, with a blue dragon and a white tiger embroidered on their chests. They clearly weren’t good people, but they seemed to recognize the Boss and said lightly, "We’ve all been in this world; you should know some rules!" I shouted loudly, "Cut the crap!" The Boss pressed down on my shoulder, signaling me to wait and see how things unfolded. 0

Buzz Cut, tied to a telephone pole, saw his people arrive and suddenly gained courage. He yelled, "Fat Brother! You’re finally here! These bastards are going to kill me! It’s that guy over there—he’s so arrogant! And those two inside—one man and one woman!" 0

Fat Man glanced over and saw Buzz Cut tied up. He immediately got angry; his face turned slightly green. Clearly, he wasn’t very emotionally intelligent and had a short temper—he ignited easily! 0

A group of thugs hurriedly untied Buzz Cut. That guy limped over and said, "Fat Brother! Our people are here! These guys are blind; with you backing us up, we can handle this ourselves..." 0

After just a couple of steps, Buzz Cut became cocky again, standing tall as he said, "Look over there—are they scared out of their wits? Hehe! If they kneel down and beg for mercy now and knock their heads ten times on the ground, maybe our boss will be pleased..." 0

"Smack!" 0

Before Buzz Cut could finish his sentence, I kicked him away. Damn it! I didn’t expect my kick to be that strong; with a loud thud, he was sent flying several yards away. 0

"Get lost! Blades and clubs have no eyes; don’t get caught in our sparks!" Fat Man was furious at Buzz Cut's uselessness. He shouted at us and encouraged everyone around him with a loud roar: "Anyone unrelated should clear out!" The diners in the restaurant immediately poured out like water from a spring. 0

Outside, thirty or fifty big men rushed over with iron rods and steel pipes. The crowd scattered like birds startled from their nests. 0

"That’s him!" The thugs who had just been chased away pointed at me among the group of big men and shouted, "That guy is meddling in our business! Brothers, beat this blind bastard to death!" 0

"Beat him to death!" 0

Fat Man shouted and charged over with an iron rod in hand, surrounding me along with the bowl and the Boss. The Boss instructed his employees to leave through the back door. 0

Dealing with this group of Birdmen didn't require any Daoist Arts at all. Just look at them; most are nothing but show, and with a little intimidation, they would back off! 0

I formed a hand gesture and recited a chant, concentrating my mind as I pointed at an iron rod. Suddenly, the rod burst into flames, glowing red in no time. I reached out and pulled it out, the front half glowing so brightly it was almost blinding. 0

I thrust the iron rod into the ground with a thud, and black smoke began to rise, filling the air with a burnt smell. 0

"Come on!" I mimicked Zhengyang's style, standing there trying to overwhelm everyone with my presence. Calmly, I said, "If anyone isn't afraid of death, step forward!" 0

"Brother Xia, you're amazing!" A voice shattered the tense atmosphere I had carefully built. 0

The group of thirty or so burly men collectively took a step back after hearing my words, feeling their skin tighten as they gasped in fear. 0

After about a minute, the glowing iron rod began to cool down, and the thugs started to get restless again. 0

"Brothers!" someone shouted to rally them. "He's just one person; we have dozens!" 0

"Exactly! Let's see if his fists are harder or our sticks!" 0

With that, someone took the lead, and the thugs charged forward with their clubs raised. 0

A murderous intent flashed in my eyes as I tightened my grip on the rod, ready to strike! Honestly, those thirty or so men were indeed a challenge. Just as I was about to act, Wan leaped out empty-handed. The Boss tried to rush in to stop her, but I held her back! For now, she was the only one who could handle this group of men. 0

"I feel reassured now!" someone from the crowd suddenly exclaimed. 0

Wan raised one hand and jumped into the fray. At first, the thugs didn't take her seriously. They laughed coldly at this delicate girl and had no intention of holding back. A few of them lunged at Wan without any sense of honor, thinking they could take her down in one move. But with a few swift kicks, several men were sent flying. 0

It was only when they truly engaged that they realized this seemingly fragile girl was incredibly formidable; thirty or so strong men couldn't even touch her. They were doomed; their pride was shattered! 0

Suddenly, Wan moved like a butterfly, gracefully dodging and weaving through their attacks. Then came a series of horrifying screams as one by one they fell to the ground in disarray, unable to get back up! Only Fat Man stood alone and terrified! Wan was merciful; she had no intention of taking their lives. Then she leaped into the air like a diver and danced around Fat Man with flashing strikes. In an instant, pieces of fabric flew everywhere; Fat Man's clothes were tattered, his hair was shorn around the edges, and his pants were soaked—clearly he had wet himself! 0

The big man roared angrily: "You all wait! If I don't make sure you leave here lying down today, then I'm not the king of Rongcheng! Especially you two; I'll make sure you know what life and death mean!" With that, he grabbed a water pipe and charged at me. He shouted defiantly, "I don’t believe I can’t beat you!" 0

"Run!" The thugs on the ground scrambled together and began to flee for their lives as they heard police sirens approaching. Fat Man sneered but seemed emboldened by his bravado. I leaped forward and delivered a powerful kick that sent him flying three to five meters away. He let out a groan and spat blood from his mouth. The big man used the pipe to prop himself up but limped away! 0

I was about to chase after him when I realized these were just public officers passing by on duty. The thugs hiding in a corner saw their chance slip away. They felt unwilling to let it end like this; if they did, they'd have no way to survive in this world anymore. 0

I had no idea where they had gathered such a ruckus, but soon a group of burly men arrived, totaling around seventy or eighty. Among them were a few who clearly looked like fighters. Leading the pack was none other than Fat Brother, though he seemed too intimidated to approach, standing about four or five meters away and shouting, "Hey, if you're so tough, why not send a man up? Letting a woman step forward? What kind of hero does that make you?" 0

"You can't even handle a girl and still dare to call yourselves heroes?" I shot back. 0

"Hmph! Fat Brother, there's no need to talk about honor with these people!" Buzz Cut shrank back into the crowd, seemingly trying to bolster Fat Brother's morale. I shot him a fierce glare, and he trembled, falling silent. 0

"It seems we won't leave without shedding some blood today," I declared as I drew the Azure Dark Sword, a flash of blue light cutting through the air. 0

"Oh? Looks like things are getting serious. I've walked through Midnight Alley too many times to fear a ghost now!" Fat Brother retorted defiantly, though his bravado was clearly waning. It was evident he was stuck in a tough spot, and we remained locked in this standoff for quite some time. 0

In the distance stood the onlookers, about two hundred meters away, craning their necks to catch a glimpse while ready to bolt at any moment. 0

"Uh-oh! The riot police are coming... Run! Anyone who runs slow is going to jail!" Upon hearing this, the seventy or eighty men scattered without a second thought. Buzz Cut cursed his parents for not giving him more legs and scrambled away in panic. Seeing everyone flee, Fat Brother muttered an expletive before also making a hasty retreat. 0

I watched all this unfold with great satisfaction, feeling immensely pleased... Finally, these rascals had found an easy way out. Word would spread in the underworld, and it wouldn't be too embarrassing after all. 0

Suddenly, two arms wrapped around my waist from behind, exclaiming, "Finally found you!" 0

That voice was incredibly familiar! 0
