On the last day in Yuncheng, Xu Yi and Bai Jinxi decided to visit the Old alleys of Yuncheng. It is the soul of Yuncheng, with cobblestone streets, quaint shops, traditional handicrafts, and street snacks, each exuding a strong historical atmosphere. 0
Xu Yi particularly liked the handicraft shops, where each piece of handicraft embodies the painstaking effort and wisdom of the craftsmen. In a ceramic shop, she was drawn to a hand-painted teacup depicting the landscape of Yuncheng, with delicate brushstrokes and vivid colors. Xu Yi bought this teacup as a memento of the trip. 0
Bai Jinxi, on the other hand, was more interested in the street snacks. She dragged Xu Yi to try various authentic snacks, some with peculiar flavors, but both of them enjoyed it. In front of a traditional candied fruit shop, Bai Jinxi bought a string of candied fruits and handed it to Xu Yi, saying with a smile, "This is a specialty of Yuncheng, you must try it." 0

Xu Yi took the candied hawthorn and took a light bite. The sweet and sour taste instantly spread in her mouth, as if it also dispelled the gloom in her heart. She smiled and said to Bai Jinxi, "Thank you, I really had a great time on this trip." 0

Bai Jinxi looked at Xu Yi's smile, feeling joyful as well. She knew that this trip meant a lot to Xu Yi, helping her to move on from past pain and rediscover the colors of life, which was what she, as a friend, most wanted to see. 0

"As long as you're happy," Bai Jinxi sincerely said, "It seems that Yuncheng is indeed a charming city." 0

Two people continued to stroll in the Old alleys, occasionally stopping to admire the handicrafts in the shops and taste the street snacks. They chatted and laughed, sharing their stories and feelings as if the whole world had only the two of them left. Unconsciously, they walked to the end of the Old alleys. Before them was an ancient temple, with a string of wind chimes hanging in front, making a clear and pleasant sound in the wind. Xu Yi and Bai Jinxi smiled at each other and decided to go in for a visit. Inside the temple, incense was flourishing, and it enshrined an ancient deity. Xu Yi and Bai Jinxi devoutly paid their respects, then walked to the backyard of the temple. There was a tranquil pond with a few lotus flowers floating on the water, creating a beautiful scene. 0

"Xu Yi, what did you just wish for?" Bai Jinxi asked curiously. 0
"Nothing much, just hoping for peace and safety," Xu Yi scratched her head, feeling a bit guilty. 0
Bai Jinxi stared straight at Xu Yi, as if she could see through her secrets, "Then why did you scratch your head? Do you know that you always make that gesture when you lie?" 0

Xu Yi felt a little uncomfortable being looked at by Bai Jinxi, so she took a deep breath and said, "I hope to forget everything about him." 0

Upon hearing this answer, Bai Jinxi couldn't help but tremble in her heart. She knew who "he" was that Xu Yi mentioned, and she also knew how much that relationship had hurt Xu Yi. She gently held Xu Yi's hand and said softly, "You don't need to deliberately forget, Xu Yi. Time will slowly heal everything, and what you need to do is make yourself happy and embrace the new life." 0

Looking at Bai Jinxi's caring eyes, Xu Yi felt a warm surge in her heart. She knew that Bai Jinxi genuinely cared for her and was willing to accompany her through this difficult time. She nodded and smiled, saying, "Thank you, Jinxi. I will." 0

Two people walked out of the temple and returned to the bustling Old alleys. They walked hand in hand, enjoying this final moment. Bai Jinxi occasionally introduced Xu Yi to various interesting shops and delicacies, trying to make her feel happier. Xu Yi was also trying to adjust her own mood. 0
