I spent a day visiting the Bo Family Ancestral Home, and everyone from the Bo Family took a liking to me, especially Bo Jingtian, who treated me particularly well.
During dinner, everyone was discussing my wedding with Bo Jingtian and our honeymoon plans.
“Xiaoxiao, where do you plan to hold your wedding with Tian'er?”
“Xiaoxiao, where are you two planning to go for your honeymoon?”
“Xiaoxiao, when do you plan to have children?”
The relatives of the Bo Family asked enthusiastically.
“For the wedding, I’ll leave it all to Jing Tian,” I smiled.
“As for the honeymoon, I’ll also follow Jing Tian’s lead,” I continued.
“And regarding children, I’ll listen to Jing Tian as well,” I said obediently.
“Look at Xiaoxiao, so obedient and agreeable,” everyone praised.
“Indeed, Tian'er is really lucky to marry Xiaoxiao,” they said enviously.
“Don’t say that; I’m the lucky one to marry Jing Tian,” I replied humbly.
“Haha…” Laughter erupted around the table.
“Tian'er, Xiaoxiao, you two should get along well, don’t argue or bicker,” they advised.
“Mm,” Bo Jingtian and I replied in unison.
“Tian'er, you mustn’t let Xiaoxiao feel wronged,” they reminded him.
“Mm,” Bo Jingtian nodded coolly.
“I’m full; you all take your time eating,” Bo Wuli said as he set down his bowl and chopsticks, looking disappointed. He had expected Bo Zhengwei to temporarily hand over the company management to Bo Jingtian but was surprised that nothing happened.
After dinner, Bo Zhengwei called Bo Jingtian into the study while I was surrounded by the women of the Bo Family chatting away.
“Xiaoxiao, how did you and Tian'er meet?” they asked curiously.
“We met at a bar,” I confessed.
“At a bar?” They were shocked.
“Mm,” I nodded calmly.
“What was Tian'er doing at a bar?” they wondered.
“He didn’t tell me,” I shook my head.
“Oh,” they understood now.
“Xiaoxiao, who pursued whom first between you and Tian'er?” they asked with curiosity.
"He chased me," I said bluntly.
"What? Tian'er chased you?" everyone exclaimed in surprise.
"Yes," I nodded calmly.
"Is that true?" they asked, unable to believe it.
"It is," I affirmed.
"Tian'er actually chasing a girl? That's unbelievable," they said in shock.
"Yeah, Jing Tian actually chasing me is really amazing," I echoed.
"It seems Tian'er really likes you," they analyzed.
"Mm," I nodded shyly.
"You all must be happy together," they wished us well.
"Thank you, we definitely will be," I replied confidently.
"Such a good girl," they said affectionately.
When Bo Jingtian came out of the study, everyone was still chatting, and he walked over with a sense of awareness.
"Are you done talking?" Bo Jingtian asked as he looked at everyone.
"Mm," I nodded obediently.
"We should head back now," Bo Jingtian said calmly.
"Okay," I agreed obediently.
"We're leaving now," I said as I waved goodbye.
"Goodbye," everyone said reluctantly.
So, Bo Jingtian and I left together.
"What did Grandpa say to you?" I asked curiously.
"Nothing much," Bo Jingtian replied coldly.
"Oh," I responded, feeling a bit disappointed.
"We're going on our honeymoon tomorrow," Bo Jingtian suddenly announced.
"Oh," I replied casually.
Honestly, I wasn't looking forward to the honeymoon because Bo Jingtian and I were only in a contractual marriage, not a real one.
The next day, while I was still sleeping soundly, the nanny woke me up.
"Young Lady, it's time to get up," the nanny urged.
"Let me sleep a little longer," I mumbled, still half-asleep.
"The young master is already waiting for you," the maid replied.
"Oh," I said helplessly as I opened my eyes.
I got ready and went downstairs, where Bo Jingtian was already in the living room.
"Good morning," I said groggily.
"Good morning," Bo Jingtian replied coldly.
"Where are we going?" I asked, still dazed.
"You'll know when we get there," Bo Jingtian said mysteriously.
"Oh," I nodded obediently.
And so, we headed out.
The Bo Family has their own private jet, allowing us to reach our destination quickly.
As the plane landed, I was captivated by the scenery outside.
"It's so beautiful," I exclaimed excitedly.
"I'm glad you like it," Bo Jingtian said with a hint of satisfaction.
"Where is this?" I asked curiously.
"Seaside Villa," Bo Jingtian replied succinctly.
"Seaside Villa?" I echoed in surprise.
"Yes," Bo Jingtian nodded calmly.
"Isn't this the house I bought at the auction?" I asked in shock.
"Yes," Bo Jingtian confirmed coolly.
"How did you know I liked it here?" I asked, feeling delighted.
"I didn't know," Bo Jingtian admitted honestly.
"Huh?" I was taken aback.
"I just randomly picked a place," Bo Jingtian said casually.
"Oh," I responded, feeling a bit disappointed.
"It seems we have a special connection," I reassured myself.
"Yes," Bo Jingtian surprisingly agreed.
"Let's go inside," I said excitedly.
"Alright," Bo Jingtian said indulgently.
We walked into the villa. Outside, there was a vast lawn, a garden, a swimming pool, and a balcony with a view of the sea. Inside, the decor was luxurious and the facilities were complete.
"It's so comfortable," I said happily.
"I'm glad you like it," Bo Jingtian replied with a sense of relief.
"Of course I like it!" I exclaimed excitedly.
"You're really good," Bo Jingtian said, patting my head.
"Hehe..." I giggled foolishly.
"Feel free to explore around; I need to handle some work," Bo Jingtian said gently.
"Okay," I agreed readily.
So, I wandered around. The air outside was so fresh, and the scenery was beautiful. I basked in the sun on the balcony, feeling the sea breeze, and my mood was particularly pleasant.
Bo Jingtian opened his laptop in the study to get some work done, but he couldn't concentrate because his mind was filled with thoughts of my figure, my smile, my voice...
Eventually, he couldn't help but step out of the study.
I returned to my room after getting tired from wandering. Just as I opened the door, Bo Jingtian happened to open his door as well.
"Jing Tian," I said in surprise.
"Mm," Bo Jingtian nodded calmly.
"Are you going out?" I asked curiously.
"I'm not going out," Bo Jingtian shook his head.
"Oh," I responded dejectedly.
"Don't you want me to go out?" Bo Jingtian raised an eyebrow.
"No, not at all," I said shyly.
"That's good then," Bo Jingtian reassured me.
