The light shone over, revealing a humanoid origami stuck to the wall beside them. The origami appeared to be over half a meter tall, adorned with a vividly lifelike face that locked eyes with Old Wu and his companions. 0

Startled by the sight of the origami, Old Wu and his friends quickly directed their flashlight towards the area next to it, only to find the surroundings empty, devoid of any other figures. 0

Lao He, witnessing the scene before him, felt his heart race. He had begun to suspect something ominous. He nudged Old Wu's arm and said, "Old Wu, do you think that cry for help might have come from this origami?" 0

Old Wu shared the same thought as Lao He but kept it to himself, not wanting to frighten Lao He further. He forced a smile and replied, "Lao He, what nonsense are you talking about? How could an origami make a sound? You must be exhausted and imagining things. Let's step outside for a bit and come back later to look for it." 0

With that, Old Wu pulled Lao He toward the street outside. The two moved in sync, directing their flashlight ahead on the main road, deliberately avoiding looking at the origami. 0

Just three minutes earlier, the origami sealing Guo Xiangfu had been no larger than a palm. However, at that moment when Guo Xiangfu attempted to break free from the street, the origami he was hiding behind suddenly expanded, growing larger until it reached half a meter in size. 0

During this transformation, Guo Xiangfu's soul was painfully tugged at, nearly tearing apart. Fortunately, he managed to endure but dared not take another step forward, instead pressing himself against the wall beside the street. 0

With a resentful gaze fixed on the shop deep within the street, Guo Xiangfu muttered darkly to himself, "So it’s true what Wu Chun said; if I force my way off this street without breaking the seal on the origami, my soul will truly perish. That Wang Hongtao is truly sinister!" 0

Seeing that both Jing Ha had suddenly left, Guo Xiangfu anxiously called out, "Jing Ha comrades! I'm right here; please help me! If you don’t rescue me soon, I might die!" 0

His voice reached Old Wu and Lao He’s ears, causing them to stiffen in place, hesitant to move. They instinctively placed their hands on their holstered guns and cautiously eyed the direction behind them, fearful that the origami would suddenly attack. 0

After a moment of silence where they noticed the origami hadn’t pursued them, they both sighed in relief. Old Wu steeled himself and shone his flashlight toward the distant origami. It remained stuck to the wall; suddenly, the face on it twisted slightly and looked back at Old Wu with a faintly friendly smile. 0

"My God, it really is a ghost!" Old Wu exclaimed upon seeing Guo Xiangfu's smile. Terrified and feeling his scalp tingle with fear, he grabbed Lao He and sprinted away from the street without daring to pause for even a second. 0

After a while, Old Wu and the others reached the exit of the street, where they saw the two colleagues still standing there, and they finally let out a long sigh of relief. 0

"Help! Someone save me! I'm going to die! Please, someone help me!" From deep within the street, Guo Xiangfu's desperate cries echoed again. The four officers standing outside had different expressions upon hearing it. 0

Old Wu and Lao He turned pale with fear, glancing nervously in the direction of Guo Xiangfu, their brows tightly knitted together. The other two officers were more curious, but upon seeing Old Wu and Lao He's expressions, they realized that neither of them would take the initiative to act. Despite their curiosity, they remained silent. 0

After a moment, Lao He noticed that Guo Xiangfu's cries for help had not ceased and were growing louder. Even a few passersby outside had heard it and were starting to gather around. Sensing that the situation was getting out of hand, Lao He hurriedly shooed away the onlookers and said, "Old Wu, you stay here and keep watch. I’m going to call the Yellow Team over. We need to resolve this quickly; otherwise, if too many people gather, it will create a bad influence." 0

With that, Lao He quickly ran off to find Huang Ping. Shortly after, Huang Ping arrived with the remaining officers. 0

Lao He chose not to call Huang Ping on the phone because it would have taken too long to explain clearly in just a few sentences. Besides, Huang Ping and his team were eating at a nearby shop; he could find them within a minute and explain everything in person. So when Huang Ping and his team arrived, they were already aware of the situation in the street. 0

Huang Ping stood at the entrance of the street, listening carefully to Guo Xiangfu's cries for help. His brow furrowed as he fell into deep thought. 0

At that moment, Old Wu approached him and glanced at the crowd not far away. He spoke up, "Yellow Team, what should we do now? There are already people gathering around; should we take measures to temporarily seal off this area?" 0

Huang Ping nodded and replied, "Lao He, you stay here to block the entrance of the street. Old Wu, you come with me to check out that origami. I want to see what’s really going on!" 0

Although Old Wu was somewhat reluctant, he steeled himself and followed Huang Ping toward Guo Xiangfu's location. 0

Upon seeing Huang Ping and Old Wu approaching, Guo Xiangfu's face lit up with excitement as he shouted, "Haha! You finally came! Someone is here! Quickly cut a hole in this origami and get me out!" 0

Huang Ping's eyes gleamed with an unusual light as he looked at the lifelike origami before him; it reminded him of those five figures in black robes from that previous video. 0

Huang Ping felt a twinge of fear at the origami before him, but he reassured himself by touching the talisman in his pocket. Gathering his courage, he took out his phone and played the recorded video once more. Then he asked, "What is your name? Do you recognize these five men in black robes? Or, did you participate in the recent Kidnapping Case?" 0

Guo Xiangfu patiently watched the video in Huang Ping's hand, a sinister smile creeping across his face. He chuckled lightly and said, "Comrade Jing Ha, I know all five of those men in black robes. If you let me go, I will tell you everything I know." 0
