Due to the weak cultivation of the Male Ghost, after just three or four seconds, its soul floated out from Tian Long's body. At the same time, the Male Ghost's soul became somewhat transparent due to the impact of the Yang Qi within Tian Long.
"Master Mage, goodbye," the Male Ghost said again, cupping his fists in a salute. I watched as his figure drifted off into the distance until he quickly disappeared from sight.
At this moment, Tian Long's consciousness had regained clarity. When he realized he was kissing the Male Anchor, he hurriedly let go and took a few steps back.
"Lao Fu, what are you doing kissing me! Are you out of your mind?" Tian Long's face turned pale with anger as he pointed at the Male Anchor and began to scold him.
The Male Anchor displayed a shy expression on his face. He poked Tian Long's chest with his finger and said in a teasing tone, "Tian Long, so you’re gay! I never would have guessed; you hide it pretty well! Now that you've kissed someone, you have to take responsibility!"
The surrounding crowd was stunned by this scene. After a moment, laughter erupted all around. Many people pointed and laughed at Tian Long, including the two female streamers nearby, who looked at them with disdainful expressions.
"Get out of my way!" Tian Long shouted as he noticed that his livestream chat was filled with mocking comments. Realizing something was wrong, he quickly pushed through the crowd with his bodyguards.
After more than ten minutes, Wu Jie and the five other streamers arrived at an open area. This space was designated for their livestream event, where staff had already set up filming equipment and turned on the lighting.
This time, the livestream platform had specially invited Wu Jie and his group of six to host an offline Ouija Board game. However, no one expected that such an incident would occur just before the livestream began.
Fuming, Tian Long sat beside the prepared table and impatiently shouted at the nearby staff, "Are you ready? If you're ready, let's get started quickly. I only plan to record for a short time before shutting down the stream; I don't want to continue today!"
The staff knew that Tian Long was upset and quickly called over Wu Jie and the others. After arranging their positions, they began playing the Ouija Board game.
He Ying and I stood not far away watching, surrounded by a lively crowd buzzing with excitement and chatter.
As I scanned my surroundings, I noticed a tall Sophora Tree nearby. Beneath it sat a group of low-level ghosts engaged in cultivation.
The Sophora Tree is a common Ghost Tree in the Yang Realm, and Ghostly Beings are drawn to the aura it emits, often gathering beneath its branches.
I let out a cold laugh and muttered to myself, "Hmph, these people actually dare to play with a Ouija Board around the Sophora Tree. Do they not know how to write the word 'death'?"
I quietly observed Wu Jie and the others, not bothering to warn them. With me watching over, those Ghostly Beings wouldn’t cause any fatalities. Besides, He Ying and I were here to sell talismans; the more chaos these Ghostly Beings created, the easier it would be for us to sell our charms.
Once Wu Jie and his five companions settled down, the staff lit incense at each of the four corners of the table and placed a prepared plate in the center of the round table.
Tian Long pressed his hand on the plate impatiently and said, "Stop dragging this out. Let’s get started quickly so we can finish up."
Wu Jie and the others nodded in agreement, each extending their right hand to rest on the plate.
"Ouija Board, Ouija Board, come quickly; we have questions for you. Ouija Board, Ouija Board, come quickly," they chanted in unison several times. Suddenly, the still plate on the table moved slightly.
The expressions on Wu Jie’s face changed as they all looked down at the plate. They watched as it began to move slowly, pointing toward the Chinese characters that had been placed on the table beforehand.
The characters formed a sentence in order, and Wu Jie instinctively read aloud: "I... have... come... what... do... you... want... from... me?"
As soon as Wu Jie finished speaking, the two female hosts let out a terrified scream, yet their right hands remained firmly on the plate, unwilling to let go.
When playing with a Ouija Board, everyone’s hands are supposed to rest lightly on the plate; if done correctly, it shouldn’t move. There are rumors that once the plate starts moving, no one can remove their hands; otherwise, the Ouija Board will latch onto whoever lets go first.
Tian Long looked at the two female hosts with malicious intent and grinned wickedly. "Ha ha! You’re not really scared, are you? You’re so foolish! There’s no such thing as a Ouija Board in this world; I was pushing that plate just now."
With that, Tian Long moved his right hand again, causing the plate on the table to shift erratically without pointing to any specific character. As soon as he lifted his hand away, the plate came to an immediate stop.
When the two female hosts realized they had been tricked, they shot Tian Long an annoyed glare and said, "Tian Long, you are really boring. I don't want to talk to you anymore."
At that moment, the cameraman, who was recording the live broadcast, suddenly turned pale. He called over the director beside him, panic evident in his voice. "Director, come take a look. Something here doesn't seem right."
The cameraman pointed at the four candle stubs on the table. They had all been lit around the same time, but only four or five minutes had passed, and three of the candles had completely burned out. Only the one near Wu Jie was still burning, and it had only consumed about a quarter of its length.
Seeing the bizarre scene before him, the director's eyes gleamed with interest. He instructed his assistant to bring over three new candles and told the cameraman, "Zhang, you focus on those candles and get some close-ups. I want to see what's going on here."
As the assistant relit the candles and prepared to place them by the table legs, he noticed that the candle in his hand was visibly shortening at an alarming rate. In just a few seconds, it had burned down completely.
"Ghost! There's a ghost!" The assistant shouted in terror, dropping the unlit candle in his hand as he turned and ran quickly toward the exit.
The six of them were close enough to witness what had just happened. The two female hosts were so frightened that they huddled together, afraid to make a sound. The other four male anchors were not as shaken but still looked pale and dared not speak out.
Just then, the dish on the table suddenly moved. It pointed to a series of Chinese characters that lined up sequentially to spell out: "Light...the...candles...quickly..."
