I pulled the Rusty Sword from that person's body, a wicked smile spreading across my face as I muttered to myself, "Hehe, this method works well. As long as I keep doing this without making mistakes, I can at least take out a good portion of them." 0

A glint flashed in my eyes as I formed a plan. I began scanning my surroundings for the next target. 0

After more than ten minutes, I encountered over fifty challengers one after another. Some were lone wolves, while others banded together in groups of three or five. However, after I threw the Rusty Sword, they all fell victim—either drained of their magical energy by the sword or knocked unconscious by my Demon-Subduing Staff. 0

"Phew, I can't keep this up. My magical energy is almost depleted. The remaining ones will have to be handled by Jiang Bao; he should be able to manage," I said, plopping down on the ground and gasping for breath. During my earlier ambushes, my identity had been discovered a few times, leading me to confront six Daoist Sect mages directly. Although I ultimately defeated them, I sustained some injuries and completely exhausted my Buddhist Power and Daoist Magic. 0

I glanced toward the distant light and murmured, "Jiang Bao, this is all I can do for you; the rest is up to you." 0

Above Misty Space, the Eight Store Managers of Ghost Street stood watching the situation below. They had witnessed my stealthy takedowns but made no move to intervene. 0

"This kid must be Old Ghost's disciple; I think his name is Jiang Ling. I remember Old Ghost sent him away from Ghost Street a long time ago. How did he end up here?" someone asked. 0

Another person chuckled teasingly, "Hehe, Old Ghost's shop is about to be taken over; naturally, his disciple would come along. But I'm curious—who taught him that Buddhist Spell? Old Ghost certainly doesn't know any Buddhist Spells." 0

A High Monk from the Buddhist Sect spoke up, "Amitabha. This practitioner is not one of my sect's disciples; our disciples do not resort to such underhanded ambush tactics. However, I am quite interested in the origins of this practitioner's Buddhism and would like to discuss it further in the future." 0

The manager of the fourth shop overseeing this challenge shot a glare at the group and said irritably, "Shut up and pay attention! Jiang Bao is in danger now; whether he can protect their shop depends on this battle!" 0

"Oh? Someone can threaten Jiang Bao? I must see this," the group quieted down, their gazes shifting toward Jiang Bao within Misty Space. 0

At that moment, Jiang Bao was surrounded by more than ten Figures—these were the remaining challengers who had encircled him without rushing to attack. 0

More than seventy people came to participate in the challenge. Aside from the fifty or so I had ambushed, everyone else was gathered here. Of course, there were also seven or eight individuals lying at Jiang Bao's feet, but they had already lost their breath and turned into cold corpses. 0

After the recent slaughter, Jiang Bao was covered in blood, and his body bore several wounds that looked quite serious. Fortunately, the bleeding had stopped, and it didn't seem to have a significant impact for now. 0

Unlike me, Jiang Bao showed no mercy to these people. He was now blinded by rage, exuding a strong aura of killing intent that rolled off him like a storm. He looked like a god of death. 0

A Taoist priest nearby looked at the corpses at Jiang Bao's feet, his brow furrowed with fear. He hesitantly spoke up, "Jiang Bao, we are all acquaintances here. Is it really necessary for you to be so ruthless?" 0

Upon hearing the priest's voice, Jiang Bao turned to look at him, his eyes filled with murderous intent. A cold smile appeared on his face as he replied icily, "Heh, Peng Baoliang, I recognize you. Your father had a good relationship with my master. When your family was besieged by the Eternal Ghost King, it was my master who helped you resolve it. How amusing that you would show up here." 0

Peng Baoliang felt somewhat embarrassed by Jiang Bao's words; he lowered his head and dared not meet Jiang Bao's gaze. 0

Jiang Bao disdainfully curled his lip and scanned the crowd around him. With a sneer, he said, "Heh, since you all dare to appear here, you are my enemies. Although my skills are lacking, I won't tolerate anyone bullying me. Anyone who tries to take my Seven Star Mysterious Dragon Sword should come forward; I will risk my life to make you pay!" 0

With that, Jiang Bao raised the Seven Star Mysterious Dragon Sword in his hand. As he activated his Daoist Magic, an astonishing aura radiated from him. 0

"Daoist Master? This Jiang Bao is actually a Daoist Master? And so young too! His cultivation is truly impressive," the people around him thought as they felt the overwhelming pressure emanating from Jiang Bao. Their expressions grew serious; none among them were true Daoist Masters; they were all merely on the brink of becoming one. 0

"Everyone, we can't hesitate any longer! We must strike together if we want to defeat Jiang Bao; otherwise, no one will get the Seven Star Mysterious Dragon Sword. Time is running out; if we don't act soon, we will lose our chance!" someone shouted loudly. The others exchanged glances and made their decision. They readied their respective magical tools to confront Jiang Bao together. 0

"Amitabha! Jiang Benefactor, your heart is filled with killing intent. Allow this poor monk to help you find peace," a Buddhist monk was the first to act. He summoned his Buddhist Manifestation and controlled it as the massive figure's left hand swung toward Jiang Bao's head. 0

"Bah! You stinky monk think you can save me? I’ll be the one sending you to find peace!" Jiang Bao spat blood onto the ground and charged directly at the Buddhist monk with his Seven Star Mysterious Dragon Sword in hand. 0

Jiang Bao dug out a piece of flesh from the wound on his chest and smeared it onto the Seven Star Mysterious Dragon Sword. With his left hand forming a spell, he chanted, "Ultimate Earth, Mystical Arts Have Methods! Supreme Three Pure Ones, Daoist Guardian! Grant me Daoist Arts, bestow upon me Blood Demon! Exorcism Technique, Dao Blood Extermination! Sacrificial Dao Blood, eradicate Evil Spirit! Supreme Old Lord, hasten as the law commands!" 0

As soon as his voice fell, Jiang Bao charged in front of the Buddhist Monk. The Seven Star Mysterious Dragon Sword in his hand emitted a dragon's roar, and a beam of sword light slashed forward, directly shattering the Buddhist Manifestation before striking the monk himself, severing his head. 0

"We strike now!" Taking advantage of the moment while Jiang Bao was engaged in slaying the monk, those nearby brandished an array of talismans and launched a surprise attack from behind him. 0
