My master is a master of Daoist Arts, and he has never taught me Buddhist Spells. Therefore, this group of people subconsciously believes that I only know Daoist Arts and not Buddhism.
The three individuals in front of me saw the golden light of the Buddha behind me, and without any doubt, they waved me over, saying, "High Monk, come here. With four of us working together, we have a better chance."
"Amitabha, you are correct. That Jiang Bao is clearly not an ordinary character; we should be cautious." I deliberately made my voice a bit hoarse to conceal my identity while secretly gripping the Demon-Subduing Staff in my hand, preparing to launch a surprise attack once I got closer to them.
I walked step by step toward them, noticing that the three remained huddled together. I couldn't help but frown and muttered to myself, "With these three standing together, it will be troublesome to launch a sneak attack. I need to come up with a plan."
"Never mind; I'll give it a try first." A glint flashed in my eyes as I discreetly took out the Rusty Sword from my possession. I infused a strand of Daoist Magic into the Rusty Sword and then threw it toward the spot where the three were standing.
The Rusty Sword concealed a Spirit Blade within it. After being stimulated in the Ghost Realm's Demon and Dao Battlefield, the Spirit Blade inside had begun to regain its consciousness. By injecting my Daoist Magic into the Rusty Sword, I aimed to awaken the Spirit Blade within.
"Swish~~" A light sound echoed from nearby as the Rusty Sword embedded itself in the ground, emitting a white glow with a wave of spiritual energy radiating from within.
"Hey? Could this be the Seven Star Mysterious Dragon Sword?" I exclaimed loudly while looking at the Rusty Sword. The three individuals also noticed the white light emanating from it and turned their gazes toward me.
"What? The Seven Star Mysterious Dragon Sword is here!"
"Don't fight me for it; this Seven Star Mysterious Dragon Sword is mine!"
"Haha, I can't believe I actually have a chance to seize the Seven Star Mysterious Dragon Sword!"
Excited expressions crossed their faces as they swiftly dashed toward the Rusty Sword, eager to claim it for themselves. In their rush, they forgot their previous alliance and became disorganized in their formation.
I looked at the chaotic scene before me and let out a long breath, saying to myself, "They have indeed never seen the true Seven Star Mysterious Dragon Sword. This makes things easier; I now have a chance to launch a sneak attack!"
"Amitabha, three benefactors, I saw the Seven Star Mysterious Dragon Sword first, so don't fight with me!" I shouted dramatically, quickening my pace as I rushed toward the Rusty Sword.
The reason the Rusty Sword could deceive their eyes was that it was not an ordinary weapon; its power even surpassed that of the Seven Star Mysterious Dragon Sword, making it a formidable artifact. The three of them recognized this as well, which is why they rushed over without hesitation to compete for it.
When I reached the three of them, they were too busy fighting over the Rusty Sword to notice my presence. This was the perfect opportunity for me to strike.
"Heh heh, all of you lie down!" I exclaimed, swiftly raising my Demon-Subduing Staff and aiming for the heads of the two closest individuals.
"Ah! You sneaky monk! How dare you ambush me? You're truly despicable!" I hadn't gauged my strength properly and only knocked one person unconscious. The other clutched his head and turned to glare at me with a murderous look in his eyes.
"Huh? You're still standing? Then let's try again." I shot him a disdainful glance and swung my Demon-Subduing Staff at his head once more. This time, I put more force into it; the staff struck his forehead with a thud, creating a large bump. He crumpled and fell to the ground.
"It's you! You're not really a monk from the Buddhist Sect; you're Jiang Ling!" The last remaining person recognized me instantly. He leisurely picked up the Rusty Sword from the ground, a look of excitement spreading across his face as he laughed, "Haha, Jiang Ling, thanks to you dealing with those two, I've now got the Seven Star Mysterious Dragon Sword! I'm going to become the master of this shop! Haha!"
"Hmph, with just you? You think you can take the Seven Star Mysterious Dragon Sword? Don't dream about it. You won't leave here alive," I declared as I channeled my Buddhist Power into my Demon-Subduing Staff. The light radiating from me grew brighter as I swung the staff toward him while chanting, "The Buddhist Sect teaches that all beings have spirits! Life and death are determined by fate; all things coexist! Descend from the celestial mountains and return to your homeland! Evil spirits cling to dust and harm living beings! Fall into the Suffering Sea; turning back is salvation! Summoning Buddha's Law, awaken with the Buddha's staff! Namo Amitabha Buddha!"
Seeing my Demon-Subduing Staff coming at him, he shot me a disdainful look and infused his own power into the Rusty Sword. With a cold snort, he said, "Hmph, with your little skills, you dare to attack me? You truly don't know how to die! Now let’s see how powerful the Seven Star Mysterious Dragon Sword really is."
As he infused his power into the Rusty Sword, a scheming smile appeared on his face. I retracted my Buddhist aura and smiled back at him, saying, "Idiot, against you, I don’t even need to use my real skills; one finger will be enough."
What a joke! The Spirit Blade of this Rusty Sword hasn't truly awakened yet. When I first infused my power into it, I accidentally drained all my energy and nearly passed out.
The Spirit Blade within the Rusty Sword has recognized me as its master. Only I can unleash its true power; in the hands of others, it is merely an ordinary magical artifact that has been consecrated.
The person before me quickly noticed the anomaly with the Rusty Sword in his hand. His expression turned to one of fear as he attempted to shake off the sword, but he found it impossible. The Rusty Sword clung to him like a magnet, refusing to budge no matter how hard he tried to throw it away.
"What have you done to me, Jiang Ling? Get this Rusty Sword off me!" he shouted at me, his voice clearly lacking strength.
Ignoring his plight, I observed him for about two minutes. His face turned pale, sweat dripped from his forehead, and his clothes were completely soaked.
Seeing that the time was right, I walked over and flicked his forehead with my finger while saying, "To deal with you, one finger is enough!"
As my finger struck his forehead, he rolled his eyes back and staggered before collapsing to the ground.
