The Warden, accompanied by his dark and imposing followers, left the territory of the Evil Warden and headed directly towards our location in the Valley.
By his side were ninety-eight Millennium Ghost Generals, who constituted the core strength of the Evil Warden. To deal with Bai Bufan and Shen Chunlan, the Warden had brought nearly all his subordinates, leaving only a few behind to guard their lair.
As soon as the Warden and his group appeared within sight of the Valley, they were spotted by Xu Qing, who was waiting outside. The overwhelming aura they exuded made it nearly impossible for Xu Qing and the others not to notice them.

With that, Xu Qing turned and quickly ran into the Valley. His speed was remarkable; in an instant, he vanished from the sight of the Vengeful Spirits.
About three minutes later, the previously quiet group of Vengeful Spirits became restless again. The Warden and his followers were getting closer, and the outer Vengeful Spirits could clearly see the strength of their approaching force.

"Yes, Warden!" replied the Millennium Ghost General with a fist salute. He swayed his body and chased after the fleeing Vengeful Spirits, while his subordinates left the Warden's side, weapons in hand, quickly following him to eliminate them.
The Warden led his subordinates closer to the Valley, scanning the seven remaining Vengeful Spirits outside with a sinister smile on his face. He self-mockingly said, "Heh heh! There are still seven Trash Fish that haven't escaped; do they look down on me?"
Turning to his subordinates behind him, he coldly instructed, "Don't act yet; I want to ask those Trash Fish what gives them the confidence to stand before me like this!"
Meanwhile, after Xu Qing entered the Valley, he scanned around and quickly spotted me and Bai Bufan.
"Master, it's bad! There are many Ghostly Beings rushing this way; they will be here soon!" Xu Qing ran over, panic evident on his face. With no one else around, he no longer needed to maintain a facade of calmness.
The Valley outside was shrouded in a thick layer of Eerie Energy, so the three of us had not noticed the situation outside. Upon hearing Xu Qing's words, we all turned our gazes toward him.
I waved my hand at Xu Qing to signal him to stop, then calmly asked, "Xu Qing, are you sure that group of Ghostly Beings is targeting this Valley?"

I nodded and gestured to Xu Qing, saying, "Xu Qing, you go out first and wait; we will come out shortly!"
Xu Qing hesitated. He initially wanted to stay but after exchanging glances with Bai Bufan, he felt a chill run down his spine. A sense of imminent danger washed over him—more terrifying than the Ghostly Beings outside.
"Master, I understand! I will leave immediately!" Xu Qing dared not linger any longer; he turned and sprinted toward the exit of the Valley.
Shen Chunlan watched Xu Qing's retreating figure and burst into laughter, teasing, "Haha! Jiang Ling, your subordinate is such a coward. He got scared just from a glare from Bai Bufan!"
"It's not that he's too timid; it's that Bai Bufan is too powerful!" I shook my head and explained helplessly. I glanced at Bai Bufan and thought to myself: "Come on, Bai Bufan is an unparalleled master on the verge of becoming an Earth Immortal. A Vengeful Spirit like Xu Qing would be wiped out with just a flick of his finger—how could Xu Qing not be afraid?"
Of course, these thoughts remained unspoken since the three of us were well aware of the situation.
I furrowed my brow and rubbed my ear in confusion as I asked, "Bai Bufan, how do you know that group of Ghostly Beings is coming for you two?"

"Xu Qing, why are you alone? Where is the master?" The faces of the seven Vengeful Spirits showed fear as they speculated whether I had already left the Valley from another place, abandoning them.

"Xu Qing, we believe you!" The seven Vengeful Spirits nodded in unison. Their expressions grew resolute as they gripped their weapons formed from Eerie Aura and stood quietly outside the Valley. With their decision made, their fear began to dissipate.
After a while, the Warden and his subordinates flew down in front of the Valley, surrounding it completely.
"Heh heh! These Trash Fish actually have weapons in hand; do they think they can fight us? Ha! How arrogant! It's laughable! I've changed my mind; I will swallow you whole and make you part of me!" The Warden initially mocked himself but then his expression turned ferocious and his voice darkened. Since he did not lower his voice intentionally, Xu Qing and the others clearly heard his words.
Xu Qing sensed the powerful aura emanating from the Warden; his brow furrowed but he did not show any signs of fear. He knew this was his best opportunity to prove his loyalty, so he did not retreat even a step. He raised his weapon high and shouted loudly, "Everyone stay calm! The master is behind us; this person won't last long! We just need to hold on until the master comes out!"
"Master? Oh, I see! I never expected those two Taoists would actually take a Ghostly Being as their disciple. That's truly strange!" The Warden, upon hearing Xu Qing's words, instinctively thought that Xu Qing and the others were disciples of Bai Bufan and Shen Chunlan.
"Do you really think you can still see your master alive?" A glint of murderous intent flashed in the Warden's eyes. He had come here specifically to find Bai Bufan and Shen Chunlan.
As soon as the Warden finished speaking, he darted forward, swiftly closing the distance to Xu Qing and the others. He reached out and grabbed a Vengeful Spirit by the neck, then with a powerful tug, he tore its head off.
"Crunch~~ Crunch~~" The Warden crushed the Vengeful Spirit's head into bits, actually tossing it into his mouth and swallowing it piece by piece.
The Vengeful Spirit was a Ghostly Being without a physical form; their bodies were merely manifestations of Eerie Aura. This was why the Warden could easily crush the Vengeful Spirit's head, and what he was consuming was just the Eerie Aura of that Vengeful Spirit.
"Ugh! Trash Fish is indeed Trash Fish; it tastes absolutely terrible!" The Warden spat on the ground, discarding the remnants in his hand. "I've changed my mind; I don't want to eat you anymore. You bunch of Trash Fish, just die!"
The Warden acted quickly; from the moment he struck until now, only about twenty seconds had passed, leaving Xu Qing and the others no time to react.
Seeing two more Vengeful Spirits fall to the Warden's hands, fear returned to Xu Qing's face. He shouted loudly towards the Valley, "Master, save me!"
