"What are you doing!" He Naixing's expression turned to one of terror as he instinctively touched his face, only to realize that black blood was flowing from the seven orifices on his face. 0

"Why is this happening! Who is scheming against me!" He Naixing looked at the bloodstains on his hands, his body trembling violently from fear. He had lost his sense of touch, which was why he hadn't noticed the abnormality in his body earlier. 0

As He Naixing saw the blood on his face flowing more profusely, the black blood had already clogged his nostrils and throat. At this moment, he could no longer focus on me; instead, he painfully clutched his chest, struggling to breathe. In despair, he shouted at the Giant Skull, "Child, come back! Come protect me!" 0

"Gurgle~~" The skull responded to He Naixing's call, ceasing its engagement with me and turning to fly towards him. I tried to intervene and stop the skull, but it was too fast for me to catch up. 0

He Naixing watched as the Giant Skull approached, a glimmer of hope shining in his eyes. He reached out towards the Giant Skull and said, "Good child, quickly enter my head and help guard my soul. I'll find a way to dispel this curse!" 0

"Gurgle~~" The Giant Skull emitted a chilling sound as it dodged He Naixing's outstretched hand and lunged at his face with its mouth wide open. In his weakened state, He Naixing could no longer control the Giant Skull; it began to turn against him. 0

"Ah! No! Stop!" He Naixing sensed danger as he saw the Giant Skull's movements, but his body was growing weaker by the second. Lacking the strength to resist, he could only scream in despair, trying to evade the skull's attack. 0

"Gurgle~~" The Giant Skull bit down on He Naixing's nose and then tore away with force, unexpectedly ripping off a large chunk of flesh. His entire face became a bloody mess, revealing even the eyeball protruding from its socket. 0

The reason He Naixing's flesh was so easily torn away was that the skin on his head had already been eroded by dark magic, leaving the flesh inside loose and vulnerable. 0

"Help me! Jiang Ling, save me!" He Naixing was knocked to the ground by the Giant Skull, looking at me in despair as he reached out for help. 0

I spat at He Naixing and shouted loudly, "Pah! You scum who kills without blinking an eye still have the audacity to ask for my help! You deserve to die by your own wicked creations! I won't save someone like you!" 0

I watched as the Giant Skull chewed on He Naixing's flesh voraciously, even biting off pieces of bone from his face with loud crunching sounds. Soon enough, He Naixing became a headless corpse; his skull had been completely devoured by the skeleton, leaving only a pile of shredded meat on the ground as proof that He Naixing had once existed. 0

The Giant Skull, having finished devouring He Naixing's brain, greedily lunged for He Naixing's abdomen, tearing out a mass of bloody entrails and chewing with a sickening crunch. The scene was gruesome and horrifying. 0

I felt a shiver run down my spine, but I noticed the aura of the Giant Skull was gradually dissipating. A thought crossed my mind: "It seems the host of this Giant Skull is dead, and it is fading away too! This is good; I won't have to deal with it myself!" 0

Seeing that I didn't need to intervene here, I turned my attention to Wang Xinyu and Lin Hanyu on the other side. Wang Xinyu was controlling a horde of Zombies, surrounding Lin Hanyu in the center. However, Lin Hanyu was deliberately entangling Wang Xinyu, leaving him no chance to escape. 0

Wang Xinyu, witnessing He Naixing's fate, felt no sympathy; instead, his eyes were filled with resentment as he cursed, "Damn it! How could He Naixing die? Wasn't he supposed to be a renowned master in the Western Wizarding World? What a useless fool!" 0

When Wang Xinyu saw me approaching, his expression immediately soured. He had set up this deadly trap but never expected it would lead to such a result. A sinister glint flickered in his eyes as he suddenly fell to the ground, sincerely begging for mercy. "Jiang Ling, please don't kill me! I promise I won't dare to make a move against you again!" 0

Seeing the genuine look on Wang Xinyu's face almost made me believe him—if I didn't know his true nature. A cold smile crept across my face as I walked over and kicked him away disdainfully. "Wang Xinyu, keep pretending! Just keep it up!" 0

Wang Xinyu scrambled back to his feet, wiping the blood from his mouth as he continued to kneel and bang his head on the ground until it bled. "Jiang Ling, I was wrong! If you spare me, I'll willingly go to the police station and confess my crimes! Please, don't kill me!" 0

"Hmph! I won't kill you; I'm not scum like you! Once I've dealt with these Zombies, I'll send you straight to the police station!" I scoffed. Someone like Wang Xinyu would naturally face legal consequences; with Yellow-Haired Leopard's body right here as evidence, there was no way he could escape this time. 0

"Jiang Ling, thank you for sparing my life!" Wang Xinyu's face lit up with joy upon hearing my words, but a sinister glint flashed in his eyes—one that I failed to notice since he kept his head down. 0

"Fatty, Jiang Ling has agreed not to kill you! But before that, you'll still have to pay some price!" Lin Hanyu said coldly as she delivered a punch directly to Wang Xinyu's nose, causing blood to gush out. With Wang Xinyu no longer controlling the Zombies, they stood dazed and confused. This gave Lin Hanyu the perfect opportunity to step out and give Wang Xinyu a thorough beating. 0

"Ah! Master, spare me!" Wang Xinyu screamed in agony as he hugged his head and desperately dodged Lin Hanyu's punches and kicks. Unfortunately for him, it was all in vain; Lin Hanyu's strikes were powerful and soon turned Wang Xinyu into a battered mess. 0

At that moment, I had already set up the Longevity Lamp on the ground. With my hands clasped together and a serious expression on my face, I began to chant: "All Things Have Spirits, All Things Have Souls. All Things Have Fate; All Lives Have an End. Do Not Be Attached to the Mortal World. Born in the Mortal Realm; Return to the Underworld. All Things Have Causes; In the Next Life, There Will Be Consequences. Namo Amitabha Buddha!" 0

After more than ten minutes, I recited the Buddhist Scriptures for the Departed over thirty times, finally guiding the souls within that group of zombies to their rest. The bodies of the Yellow-Haired Leopard and his companions fell stiffly to the ground, becoming true corpses. 0

Lin Hanyu stood quietly beside me after giving Wang Xinyu a good beating, protecting me. 0

"Jiang Ling, even if I die, I will drag you down with me!" Wang Xinyu lay on the ground, his face bruised and swollen, glaring at me with resentment as he reached for his waistband and pulled out a black handgun from inside. 0
