"You were so tough just now! Why are you all kneeling on the ground now?" I walked over to the Yellow-Haired Leopard and kicked him a few times, venting my anger. The thugs behind him were not spared either; they all received a share of my fists and kicks. 0

After three or four minutes, the Yellow-Haired Leopard and his gang were left bruised and battered. My anger had subsided, and I rubbed my sore fists, deciding not to hit them anymore. I approached the Yellow-Haired Leopard and patted his head, asking, "Yellow-Haired Leopard, who sent you to trouble me?" 0

The Yellow-Haired Leopard looked up at me, his eyes swollen like a panda's, and his mouth was puffy from the beating. He painfully replied, "Master, some time ago, a sleazy fat man came to us. He gave us a thousand yuan to beat you up! We didn’t know you were so powerful; otherwise, no amount of money would have made us dare to take you on!" 0

"Oh, a sleazy fat man? Did he wear glasses?" Upon hearing the Yellow-Haired Leopard's description, I had a vague suspicion. 0

The Yellow-Haired Leopard nodded quickly. "Yes, yes! That Fatty wore glasses. I saw his photo online not long ago; everyone seems to call him the Beastly Director!" 0

A glint of murderous intent flashed in my eyes as I already guessed who was behind this. Clenching my fists, I thought to myself, "It seems that Wang Xinyu hired the Yellow-Haired Leopard and his gang! I hadn’t even sought trouble with Wang Xinyu, yet he dared to come after me. It looks like I need to deal with him properly!" 0

"Get lost! Don’t let me see you again; otherwise, I'll beat you up every time we meet!" I threatened the Yellow-Haired Leopard and his gang before sending them all away. After watching them leave the alley in defeat, I sat down on the ground, clasped my hands together, and began reciting the Buddhist scriptures for the departed to help the spirits I had summoned. 0

"All Things Have Spirits, All Things Have Souls. All Things Have Fate, All Lives Have an End. Do Not Be Attached to the Mortal World. Born in the Mortal Realm, Return to the Underworld. All Things Have Causes; In the Next Life, There Will Be Consequences. Namo Amitabha Buddha!" 0

After reciting the Buddhist scriptures for the departed eight times, I felt that all the spirits around me had been helped. I sensed a surge of Buddhist power within me; whether it was just my imagination or not, I looked at my Buddhist manifestation and noticed it had grown taller by a centimeter. 0

"Haha! I didn’t expect that after helping over thirty spirits, my Buddhist manifestation would grow taller by a centimeter. Looks like I need to go out more at night!" With a smile on my face, I retracted my Buddha manifestation into my Dantian and hurried toward the Buddhist Artifact Shop. Although the wound from being hit by the Yellow-Haired Leopard wasn’t severe, it still needed treatment; otherwise, it could get infected. 0

"Damn it! What bad luck! I’ve embarrassed myself tonight; just don’t let me run into that Fatty! Otherwise, I'll definitely beat him up!" The Yellow-Haired Leopard touched his swollen head as he cursed incessantly. 0

"Boss, look! That sleazy fat man is standing right ahead!" someone exclaimed. The Yellow-Haired Leopard followed where he was pointing and saw Wang Xinyu standing by a streetlight at the spot where they had previously made their deal. However, this time Wang Xinyu was not alone; he was accompanied by a mysterious figure dressed in black robes that gave off an unsettling vibe. 0

"Fatty! You tricked us, and you still dare to show up here? Are you tired of living?" The Yellow-Haired Leopard shouted angrily, brandishing a steel pipe as he charged forward with his men, exuding an aura of menace. 0

"Do you want to die?" The Black Robed Man beside Wang Xinyu spoke in a chilling tone, lifting his hat to reveal a bizarre head. His scalp was bald, adorned with a tattoo of a ghostly face, and his flesh was sparse, resembling a skull wrapped in Human Skin. His eyes glimmered with a green light, making him look like a Corpse. 0

"Oh my God! Why do I keep encountering ghosts tonight? Am I really out of luck?" The Yellow-Haired Leopard thought to himself, quickly dropping the steel pipe and freezing in front of Wang Xinyu and the others with a stiff expression. 0

Wang Xinyu adjusted his glasses and asked, "Yellow-Haired Leopard, did you get what I asked for?" 0

"I got it! I got it!" The Yellow-Haired Leopard replied with a grin, pulling out a white towel stained with fresh blood that had not yet dried completely. He unfolded the towel to reveal a strand of black hair and several fingernails inside. 0

Wang Xinyu had hired the Yellow-Haired Leopard and his crew under the pretense of beating him up; his true intention was to secretly obtain these items from him. 0

"This is what you wanted—the towel soaked in blood, along with the hair and fingernails!" The Yellow-Haired Leopard handed the towel to Wang Xinyu. The blood on the towel was secretly smeared from Wang Xinyu's forehead during their scuffle, while the hair was snatched in the chaos. However, the fingernails were not Wang Xinyu's; they were fakes brought in by them. 0

"That's nothing; we'll be on our way now!" The Yellow-Haired Leopard said somewhat nervously. Seeing Wang Xinyu nod, he quickly led his men away at a run. 0

They ran for three or four streets before finally stopping, panting heavily as they sat down by the roadside. One of the Yellow-Haired Leopard's subordinates asked, "Boss, those fingernails are fake; they won't find out, right?" 0

The Yellow-Haired Leopard slapped the man's head hard and shouted, "Are you stupid? How would they know if those fingernails are real or fake? Even if they did find out, they wouldn't be able to track us down! For now, we’ll lay low outside!" 0

Feeling a bit uneasy himself, the Yellow-Haired Leopard took a moment to rest before hastily leading his men away from that troublesome place, vowing not to return anytime soon. 0

"Master, we have everything. What should we do next?" Wang Xinyu handed the items over to the strangely-looking Black Robed Man named He Naixing. He was a master of Western Sorcery whom Wang Xinyu had found through a friend. This was also Wang Xinyu's true method for dealing with me. 0

He Naixing reached out to take the towel, and in his right hand, he pulled out a Scarecrow Doll. He stuffed the fingernails and hair wrapped in the towel into the Puppet. He also tore off the bloodstained part of the towel and tied it around the Puppet's body. 0

The head of the Puppet was covered with a white piece of paper, on which my name and my Birth Date and Time were written. The Western Wizard's spell was none other than the infamous Puppet Substitute Technique, a very sinister form of magic. 0

"In three days, when his life Puppet is successfully crafted, I will be able to perform the ritual, and that will be his time of death!" He Naixing gripped the Puppet tightly in his hand, his voice chillingly ominous. 0
