I teamed up with Qu Liang to deal with the two Zombies. Since my Buddhist Power was nearly depleted, I did not summon the Buddha Manifestation from my Dantian. 0

"Take this!" I shouted, swinging my Demon-Subduing Staff down onto the Zombie's head, knocking its helmet off. At that moment, Qu Liang pulled out five silver talismans and placed them on the Zombie's forehead. She quickly formed a spell with her hands and chanted, "Supreme Three Pure Ones, Limitless Magic! Tower Suppressing Demons, Divine Talisman to Exterminate Ghosts! Corpse-Born Evil Spirit, soft yet unyielding! Evil-Repelling Talisman, return the Corpse Spirit! Lingling, Earth Spirit, Supreme Old Lord, heed my command! Corpse Controlling Talisman, command!" 0

As soon as Qu Liang finished her incantation, the five Silver Talismans ignited spontaneously without fire, transforming into beams of white light that pierced through the Zombie's head and struck at its soul within. 0

"Ah!" The Zombie let out a wretched scream, clutching its head in agony as its soul began to dissipate. After seven or eight seconds, the five beams of white light shattered its soul completely. Its body fell stiffly to the ground, visibly rotting at an alarming rate until it became a pile of gray bones and a pool of foul-smelling corpse water. 0

"Phew! Only one Zombie left!" Qu Liang exhaled deeply. Having used five Silver Talismans at once drained two-thirds of her magical energy, leaving her pale. Earlier in the ancient tomb, she had discovered that one Silver Talismans was insufficient to defeat a Low-level Zombie; hence she had used five this time and succeeded. 0

"I'll help you!" Yang Xiaochao had already slain his own Zombie and rushed over with his blade in hand. 0

The three of us surrounded the remaining Zombie and fought for three or four minutes. The armor on the Zombie was battered and torn from our attacks, and the two Ghost Weapons it wielded were shattered by my Demon-Subduing Staff. 0

"Why is this Zombie so hard to kill?" Qu Liang and I gasped for breath; our stamina was at its limit. We could only hold back the Zombie from the side while Yang Xiaochao still had some fight left in him. 0

"Die!" Yang Xiaochao shouted as he positioned himself behind the Zombie. He gripped his blade tightly above his head and swung it down forcefully toward the Zombie's neck. 0

"Bang!" A crisp sound echoed as the blade severed the Zombie's head. Black Corpse Blood gushed from its neck, splattering all over us as a strong stench filled the air. 0

Yang Xiaochao frowned and kicked the Zombie's body over. Wiping the blood from his face, he clasped his fists toward me and Qu Liang. "Thank you both for your assistance. My name is Yang Xiaochao; may I ask how you are addressed?" 0

"I'm Jiang Ling, and this is my girlfriend, Qu Liang! Yang Xiaochao, we should leave quickly! There might be more Zombies coming after us!" I replied while noticing that Yang Xiaochao's back and left leg were still bleeding. Yet he appeared unfazed; I thought to myself that Yang Xiaochao was truly a tough guy. 0

"Ha ha! Where do you think you're going? Leave your lives behind!" A chilling laugh echoed from behind, and a figure jumped down from the tree. Upon closer inspection, I realized it was Liu Yunchong. 0

At that moment, Liu Yunchong looked somewhat disheveled. He had just fought off two Low-level Zombies that were chasing him. Although he had successfully escaped their pursuit, he had sustained several wounds from their spears during the battle, with one injury even piercing through the palm of his left hand. However, Liu Yunchong was in much better shape than the three of us. 0

"Liu Yunchong, what do you mean by that?" I asked warily, keeping my eyes on him. All three of us were exhausted, and his sudden appearance clearly indicated he had ill intentions. 0

"Ha ha! What do I mean? I want to kill all three of you to vent my anger!" Liu Yunchong let out a sinister laugh, brandishing a short knife and glaring at us with murderous intent. 0

"Cloudwalker, if you want to avenge your brother's severed arm, just come at me directly! Don't slaughter the innocent!" Yang Xiaochao stepped forward, holding a blade in front of Liu Yunchong. 0

"Ha ha! What does it matter if I kill innocents? Do you think the Gold-Eating Mouse can stop me? I'll kill you first!" With that, Liu Yunchong lunged at Yang Xiaochao with incredible speed, his short sword aimed straight for Yang Xiaochao's eyes. 0

"Hmph! Cloudwalker, do you think I'm afraid of you?" Yang Xiaochao's eyes glinted with killing intent as he coldly snorted and charged at Liu Yunchong with his blade raised. 0

Soon, their weapons clashed together with a deafening metallic screech, sparks flying in every direction. 0

I looked over and saw that Liu Yunchong was completely overpowering Yang Xiaochao. After just a few exchanges, Liu Yunchong had already inflicted three wounds on Yang Xiaochao with his short knife. At this rate, Yang Xiaochao would surely die under Liu Yunchong's blade. 0

"Qu Liang, stay back! I'm going to help Yang Xiaochao!" I knew our only chance of survival was to team up against Liu Yunchong. This fight relied on physical prowess, and Qu Liang wasn't suited for it. 0

"Jiang Ling, be careful!" Qu Liang said with concern in his eyes. I nodded and charged forward with my Demon-Subduing Staff. Stealthily approaching Liu Yunchong from behind, I raised my staff and aimed for his head. 0

"You little brat, you're looking for death!" Liu Yunchong sensed something amiss behind him and dodged to the right just in time to avoid my strike. However, my Demon-Subduing Staff landed heavily on his shoulder. 0

"You are so eager to die, I'll help you with that!" Liu Yunchong rubbed his numb shoulder, completely enraged by me. He slashed the short knife in front of him, forcing Yang Xiaochao back, and immediately turned around, charging at me with murderous intent. 0

"Hey, Uncle Liu Yunchong, I just slipped a bit; it was all a misunderstanding! Let's talk this out and not hurt that guy!" I kept retreating, desperately dodging Liu Yunchong's attacks. No way was I going to confront him head-on after experiencing his skills on the train when he had beaten me mercilessly. 0

"Jiang Ling, you should die!" Liu Yunchong shouted at me, seizing my moment of vulnerability and kicking me to the ground. He approached me with the short knife, his eyes filled with malice. 0

"This is it!" I thought as I saw Liu Yunchong rushing toward me, the blade only five or six meters from my head. There was no way to escape. A wave of despair washed over me. 0

Bang! A gunshot rang out, and I saw a bullet pierce through Liu Yunchong's forehead. His head exploded in an instant, brain matter mixing with hot blood, splattering everywhere. 0

I looked up and realized it was Yang Xiaochao who had fired the shot. He came over and helped me up from the ground. "Jiang Ling, there was only one bullet in this gun. Cloudwalker has been wary of me, so I couldn't shoot recklessly. Fortunately, you managed to hold Cloudwalker back long enough for me to take my shot! I hope you can understand." 0

"I get it!" I nodded, glancing nervously at Liu Yunchong's corpse. Just moments ago, I had been caught in Ghost Gate. Taking a deep breath, I looked at Liu Yunchong's body with flickering eyes and thought to myself: "Good deeds are rewarded with good; evil deeds meet their end! Liu Yunchong died here because he brought it upon himself!" 0

If Liu Yunchong had simply fled, this scene would not have unfolded; he chose his own demise, and no one could save him now. 0

"Let's go!" The three of us set our sights on the direction and continued toward the Foot of the Tomb Mountain. 0
