"Roar! Arrogant fool, I will chop off your head and feast on your flesh!" The low-level Zombie was enraged by my attitude, brandishing its spear and lunging at my chest. 0

"You despicable Zombie, I wasn't even ready yet, and you dare to ambush me! How shameless!" I sidestepped to the right, using my Demon-Subduing Staff to block the Zombie's spear. However, the impact sent pain shooting through my arm, intensifying the ache from where Liu Yunchong had injured me earlier. 0

"Die, you stinking brat!" Seeing that I couldn't withstand its spear, the Zombie increased its attack force, swinging the spear like a club toward me. 0

"Damn it, it's getting bolder!" A glint of murderous intent flashed in my eyes as I rolled on the ground, narrowly avoiding the Zombie's spear. Taking advantage of the moment, I rolled to the Zombie's feet. 0

"Roar! A fool has delivered himself to me; prepare to die!" The Zombie let out an excited roar, raising its spear and aiming for my eyes with incredible speed. 0

"Buddhist Teachings to Save All Beings, saving people, demons, and spirits! As for the Undead, reincarnate and forget worldly matters! Buddhist Transformation Palm! Namo Amitabha Buddha!" I quickly raised my right hand, channeling my Buddhist Power toward the Zombie's head. My Buddha Manifestation burst forth from my Dantian, intercepting the Zombie's spear while simultaneously striking its Spirit Cover. 0

The Buddhist Transformation Palm was a technique I had comprehended from the Buddhist Scriptures. It was essentially a reinforced version of the Buddhist Scriptures for the Departed, capable of forcibly guiding the soul within a Zombie. If my power were strong enough, it could even directly guide a Corpse King; however, that was merely theoretical. 0

"Ah!" The Zombie let out a wretched scream as my Buddha Manifestation struck its head. A shadowy soul floated out from its Spirit Cover. Once the soul left its body, the Zombie's corpse fell stiffly to the ground, motionless. 0

"Roar! What have you done to me?" The Zombie's soul rushed at me in a frenzy, but it was just an ordinary spirit and posed no threat. 0

"My Buddha Manifestation is too weak! This guiding palm can only separate a soul within a meter; it was too risky to use!" I shook my head and promptly guided the Zombie's soul away before retracting my Buddha Manifestation and walking toward Qu Liang. 0

"Jiang Ling, when did you become this powerful?" Qu Liang gazed at me with admiration after witnessing how easily I dispatched a Zombie. She knew about my Daoist Magic being rendered ineffective but chose not to expose me. Now that she saw how formidable my Buddhist Power was—despite having practiced Buddhism for less than half a month—her admiration grew even stronger. 0

"Haha! I've always been this impressive; did you just realize it? Qu Liang, let's keep moving! There might be more Zombies coming after us!" I laughed as I took Qu Liang's hand and continued toward the Foot of the Tomb Mountain while recounting my journey in practicing Buddhism. 0

After walking for five or six minutes, I suddenly heard a commotion of footsteps behind me. Qu Liang and I stopped again and looked back, only to find six dark figures following us. 0

"No way! So many Zombies!" I exclaimed, feeling a wave of despair wash over me as I looked at the shadows. Although I had gathered my Buddha Manifestation, it was still too weak; dealing with three Zombies at once was already pushing my limits. 0

"Qu Liang, let's run and see if we can encounter other Yin-Yang Masters on the way!" I grabbed Qu Liang's hand and turned to flee. At that moment, I recognized the figure leading the charge—it was Yang Xiaochao, the Grave Robber known as the Gold-Eating Mouse. While I didn't know his name, I remembered that before entering the ancient tomb, Wu Jingye had been standing next to him, so he left me with a faint impression. 0

"Help me! Masters, please save me!" Yang Xiaochao cried out upon seeing us, as if he had grasped a lifeline. His appearance was quite pitiful; his back was torn open by the spears of the five Zombies, leaving no unbroken skin. His left foot had a bloody hole in it, causing him to limp painfully. If those Zombies hadn't been toying with him, he might have already been dead. 0

Seeing Yang Xiaochao's miserable state made both Qu Liang and me furrow our brows. We exchanged glances and understood each other's thoughts. 0

"Jiang Ling, I can hold off two Zombies at most; you handle the rest!" Qu Liang said as she pulled out a Silver Talisman from her belongings and charged forward to draw away the two Zombies behind Yang Xiaochao. 0

"Roar~ Following this human will lead us to others trying to escape! There are three people here; we can eat two of them and then look for more!" The Zombies' eyes gleamed with greed as they sent two of their number toward Qu Liang while another engaged Yang Xiaochao in battle. The remaining two Zombies charged at me. 0

"Roar~ This human smells delicious! Let's just eat him!" The two Zombies discussed among themselves, completely disregarding me. They slowly approached from both sides without rushing in, seemingly waiting for me to struggle in my final moments. 0

"Very well! You foolish Zombies will pay for your arrogance!" I thought to myself as I saw the two Zombies were only five steps away. I discarded my Demon-Subduing Staff and rushed forward. 0

"Buddhist Teachings to Save All Beings, ferrying humans, demons, and spirits! As Undead beings seek rebirth, forget the mundane world! Buddhist Transformation Palm! Namo Amitabha Buddha!" I quickly raised my palms and struck at the heads of the two Zombies. They anticipated my charge but were still a moment too slow. My Buddha Manifestation burst forth from my Dantian, its palms slamming into the heads of the two Zombies and instantly driving their souls out from their Spirit Covers. 0

"Ha!" I exhaled deeply; my Buddhist Power was nearly depleted. I swiftly guided away the souls of those two Zombies and recalled my Buddha Manifestation back into my body. Picking up my Demon-Subduing Staff from the ground, I glanced over at the other side. 0

"Damn it! Why did you all come after me? I'm Yang Xiaochao; I'm not afraid of anyone in a one-on-one fight!" Yang Xiaochao shouted fiercely as he swung his blade at the Zombie in front of him. The blade in his hand was a consecrated artifact. After being toyed with by five Zombies earlier, as the leader of Mianyang City's Yang Clan Tomb Raiders, he had pent-up frustration that now fueled his fight against that Zombie. He seemed to be gaining the upper hand, which secretly impressed me about Yang Xiaochao. 0

On the other side, the situation was not looking good. Although Qu Liang had talismans for protection, their power was limited and could hardly deal with the Zombies. Qu Liang was caught off guard by the two Zombies, struggling to defend himself, but fortunately, he was not in immediate danger. 0

"Qu Liang, I'm here to help you!" I shouted, gripping the Demon-Subduing Staff tightly as I rushed towards him. 0
