Ten minutes ago, deep within the palace of the ancient tomb, Yu Yuanhang and his two fellow Daoist Masters were engaged in a fierce battle with the Nine Thousand Year Corpse Demon. Debris flew everywhere in the palace, and shattered stone slabs littered the ground. Even the Jade Coffin, where the Corpse Demon had been resting, was reduced to fragments, a testament to the intensity of their clash. 0

"Damn it, why is this Corpse Demon so difficult to deal with!" Yu Yuanhang silently lamented. Behind him, his Furious Vajra Manifestation had dwindled to a mere shadow, and his Buddhist Power was nearly exhausted. If it weren't for the remaining demonic essence within him, he might have already perished at the hands of the Corpse Demon. 0

"Just hold on a little longer! The Blood Talisman from our Daoist Sect is almost complete!" The other two Daoist Masters exchanged determined glances. Although their situation was not as favorable as Yu Yuanhang's, their Daoist Robes were torn by the Square Halberd wielded by the Corpse Demon, leaving them with several wounds. Fortunately, those injuries were not life-threatening; they merely stained their garments with blood. They did not retreat an inch and continued to engage in combat with the Corpse Demon. 0

"Ah! You three Daoists are truly bothersome! I want to see how you plan to withstand my attacks next!" The Corpse Demon roared in anger, its dragon robe shredded into tatters, revealing the gold-threaded soft armor underneath. Despite having no visible wounds, the Corpse Demon appeared disheveled and lacked its previous imposing presence. 0

The Master drawing symbols was nearing the final stage. He forcefully traced his left finger across his brow, drawing a drop of blood that splattered onto the talisman paper before him. His right hand halted with the Judgment Brush as he quickly executed a spell, chanting loudly: "Forehead Blood, containing Divine Soul! I offer a fragment of my soul to borrow the bodies of two divine generals! Slash corpses and extinguish spirits; uphold purity! Ultimate Earth, Supreme Three Pure Ones, Master Blood Talisman, command!" 0

As soon as he finished speaking, the yellow talisman before him transformed into a deep crimson hue. His internal power was instantly drained by the Blood Talisman, causing his body to tremble violently and pain to contort his face. He felt a sweetness in his throat and coughed up blood that fell onto the two Figures hovering in mid-air. 0

"Buzz~~" A clear sound resonated throughout the palace, echoing in everyone's minds—including Yu Yuanhang's. All eyes turned towards the two Figures above as they simultaneously opened their eyes and scanned the crowd in the palace. 0

One Figure wore white robes and held a long spear, exuding a powerful aura of Daoism that rivaled that of the Nine Thousand Year Corpse Demon. The other Figure donned a black robe, emanating a visible eerie aura and wielding a soul-catching iron chain that gave off an extremely sinister vibe. 0

"This is troublesome!" The Corpse Demon sensed the formidable presence of the two Figures and instinctively took a few steps back while gripping its Square Halberd tightly. Its gaze shifted towards the Master Blood Talisman and noticed it had begun to burn; at this rate, it would last no more than one minute. 0

The Corpse Demon had some understanding of the Master Blood Talisman; it knew that the summoned power had a time limit. Once the Blood Talisman burned out, that power would vanish automatically. Therefore, it did not intend to confront those two Figures head-on. 0

"Where do you think you're going?" The two Figures locked onto the Corpse Demon's silhouette. They raised their weapons and swiftly charged towards it. Soon enough, all three were entangled in combat; however, the Corpse Demon remained on defense and did not initiate any attacks. 0

"We're leaving! Everyone out of this ancient tomb!" one Daoist Master shouted loudly to Wu Jingye and others. The Millennium Corpse Water inside the Nine-Dragon Cauldron had been purged of Corpse Qi and transformed into clear water. Without hesitation, Wu Jingye and his companions jumped out of the Nine-Dragon Cauldron and sprinted towards the exit of the palace. 0

As for the three or four elderly Yin-Yang Masters who had been left behind, they were caught up in the aftermath of the battle between the Corpse Demon and the Daoist Master, and met their end at the hands of the Corpse Demon. They had still harbored fantasies of immortality, only to lose their lives in a tragic twist of fate. 0

Yu Yuanhang and his group hurriedly exited the ancient tomb's palace, running desperately for a while until they quickly caught up with those who had left earlier. 0

Inside the palace, the Master Blood Talisman had turned to ashes, and the two Figures it summoned had vanished. The Corpse Demon stood with its Square Halberd planted in the ground, its left hand pressed against its chest where a gunshot wound, as wide as a finger, pierced through its entire body. Dark red blood flowed from the wound. This was the first time the Corpse Demon had been injured. 0

“Damn Daoist, you have completely enraged me! Now I will unleash a massacre!” The Corpse Demon radiated murderous intent as it picked up the Square Halberd from the ground. Instead of pursuing Yu Yuanhang and his group, it charged deeper into the ancient tomb towards seven burial chambers. 0

“I originally planned to wait until I ascended to Corpse King before leading my Zombie Legion into battle. Although my plans have been accelerated by several years, as long as I devour the flesh and blood of thousands, I can ascend to the realm of Corpse King! At that time in the Yin-Yang Realms, who could possibly stand against me?” Excitement gleamed in the Corpse Demon's eyes as it pointed the Square Halberd at a mechanism in one of the burial chambers, causing all seven stone doors to swing open. 0

These seven burial chambers were actually passages leading to other ancient tombs deep within the mountains. The Corpse Demon used Millennium Corpse Water from the Nine-Dragon Cauldron to cultivate a large number of Low-level Zombies within those tombs; this was its capital for conquest. The Zombies that had disappeared from the palace were sent by the Corpse Demon to summon all Zombies from within the ancient tombs. 0

After three or four minutes, all Zombies from within the ancient tomb had gathered in the palace—over four hundred in total. They formed a square formation, wielding spears or long swords, exuding an imposing aura reminiscent of an ancient army. 0

“Long live our king! Long live our king! Long live our king!” The group of Low-level Zombies knelt on one knee, reverently addressing the Corpse Demon standing before them. The Corpse Demon nodded in satisfaction and waved its hand, loudly asking, “Are you willing to follow me into battle?” 0

“We are willing to follow our king into battle!” The Low-level Zombies responded in unison, their voices echoing throughout the palace and even reaching Yu Yuanhang and his companions outside. 0

“Very well! You will accompany me out of this ancient tomb and return to the surface!” The Corpse Demon brandished its Square Halberd and was the first to charge out of the palace, pursuing those within the tomb. 0

“Kill!” The Low-level Zombies marched in unison behind the Corpse Demon as they rushed towards the palace exit. 0

Soon, everyone had left the palace, and the Bronze Door closed once more. A flash of golden light swept through the palace as the massive Nine-Dragon Cauldron suddenly vanished from sight, leaving no one knowing where it had gone. 0
