I moved my limbs a bit and looked at Liu Yunchong in front of me, saying, "I've always heard my master warn me that when traveling outside, it's better to offend the Evil Cultivation people than to provoke the Grave Robbers! Today, I want to see if you Grave Robbers are really that formidable!"
"Haha! I didn't expect our profession to have such a notorious reputation!" Liu Yunchong laughed heartily, showing no concern as he continued, "Young man, having some spirit is fine, but you should listen to your master and not provoke me!"
I shot Liu Yunchong a glare, thinking to myself that it was clearly Liu Yunchong who had come looking for trouble. I was forced into this situation and had no choice but to confront him.
"Enough with the nonsense, bring it on!" I beckoned Liu Yunchong with my hand, provoking him further.
"You’re asking for death!" Liu Yunchong was incensed by my disdainful gaze. He charged at me quickly, his right hand swinging toward the back of my head with a vicious strike.
The back of the head is one of the most vulnerable parts of the body, filled with a dense network of nerves and lacking protective bone. If Liu Yunchong hit me there, I could easily lose consciousness, suffer paralysis, or even face the risk of death.
"You really are ruthless!" A glint of killing intent flashed in my eyes. Seeing Liu Yunchong's fist coming toward me, I immediately extended my left arm to block it while my right hand swung toward his face.
Since Liu Yunchong's attack was so vicious, I naturally held nothing back and put all my strength into my punch.
"Hmph! You're still too young!" Liu Yunchong scoffed at my attack. He showed no intention of dodging; instead, he continued to advance with his fist aimed at me.
"So confident!" I noted Liu Yunchong's reaction and felt a hint of unease. However, once the arrow is loosed, there’s no turning back; I could only brace myself and clash with Liu Yunchong head-on.
"Crack!" His fist struck my arm with a sharp sound, and I felt as if the bones in my arm had shattered.
"Ah!" I let out a heart-wrenching scream as pain twisted my face and cold sweat broke out all over my body. I curled up on the ground, clutching my arm tightly.
Liu Yunchong approached me and disdainfully kicked my stomach with his toe. "Hmph, so useless! We’ve just started fighting and you’re already down!"
My body was sent flying by Liu Yunchong's kick, crashing heavily against the dining table in the carriage. The pain made tears stream down my face. My stomach churned violently as I quickly bent over and began to vomit. Everything I'd just eaten came rushing back up.
"Jiang Ling, are you okay?" Qu Liang rushed to my side and helped me up with great effort. Her eyes were red and filled with sorrow as if she were about to cry. I wiped my mouth with my hand and forced a smile, saying, "Don't worry, I'm fine!"
Liu Yunchong walked towards us with a cold sneer, ominously saying, "Haha! You two really are deeply in love, aren't you? It's quite enviable!"
Seeing Liu Yunchong approaching, Qu Liang quickly took out the treasure map from her bag and tossed it to Liu Yunchong. "Liu Yunchong, this is the treasure map I have. I'm giving it to you, so please let us go!"
Liu Yunchong caught the treasure map and opened it for a glance, gradually revealing an excited smile on his face. He folded the map neatly and tucked it into his clothing, keeping it close.
"Qu Liang, you really are sensible! If you had handed over the treasure map sooner, I wouldn't have made things difficult for you!" Liu Yunchong said with an innocent-looking smile as he continued to approach us. "However, now I'm quite angry, and I won't back down so easily!"
With that, Liu Yunchong lifted his foot and kicked towards Qu Liang's leg. His speed was astonishing, and my expression darkened as I hurriedly pulled Qu Liang aside, extending my leg to clash with Liu Yunchong's kick.
"Ah!" I let out a cry of pain as a sharp ache shot through my left leg, causing me to lose control of it.
"I didn't expect you to be so loyal! I wonder how many hits you can take for your girlfriend! Haha!" Liu Yunchong grinned menacingly as he stepped closer, ready to strike again.
I had been fighting Liu Yunchong for only three or four minutes, but I quickly realized that I was no match for him. During this time, it had been nothing but one-sided blows against me; I had no chance to fight back at all.
"Sir, please stop!" At that moment, staff members from Car 13 finally rushed over, brandishing their batons and positioning themselves in front of Liu Yunchong.
"You all love to meddle in others' business! Get ready to pay for his suffering!" Liu Yunchong's eyes glinted with malice as he scanned the staff members before him. They were trained strongmen and were not easily intimidated by him.
"Sir, please calm down. If there's an issue, we can discuss it without resorting to violence!" one of the staff urged Liu Yunchong. Meanwhile, other passengers who had gathered around came forward to protect me and Qu Liang. "You're an adult; how can you lay hands on two kids? That's just shameless!"
"Who’s being shameless here?" Liu Yunchong's face darkened frighteningly as he swiftly moved in front of the person who had spoken out and punched him squarely in the chest.
"Poof!" The man instantly spat out blood as his chest caved in from the blow, crashing into those behind him and knocking over two or three people.
The onlookers were stunned by Liu Yunchong's ferocity as they stared at the bloodied man. Someone finally shouted, "Everyone, let's work together! Don't be afraid of him! There are so many of us; we can definitely subdue this old man!"
With that, everyone charged at Liu Yunchong in an attempt to bring him down. However, there was no hint of panic in Liu Yunchong's eyes; he coldly declared, "I've been digging graves since I was ten years old. I've dealt with corpses and zombies and have fired guns—I've done it all! You dare lay hands on me? You're truly asking for death!"
Liu Yunchong's expression twisted into a fierce grimace as he charged into the crowd, completely ignoring the fists swinging towards him. He unleashed a flurry of strikes aimed directly at the vulnerable areas of those around him—groins, throats, eyes, and noses—with brutal force and malicious intent.
"Ah! It hurts so much! I can't see!"
"Oh no! My balls are crushed! Oh!"
"Cough! My throat was hit; it hurts so much when I talk!"
Qu Liang and I stood to the side, watching as more and more people collapsed to the ground, the train car filled with cries of agony, while the number of those still standing dwindled.
Liu Yunchong was not unscathed either; he had taken many punches, but his assailants lacked the same viciousness he displayed, allowing him to hold his ground.
"Raise your hands! Don't move!" At that moment, the train conductor arrived with seven or eight crew members. The conductor brandished a tranquilizer gun aimed at Liu Yunchong, while the crew members approached him with specialized riot control equipment.
"Hmph, you think you can catch me with those pathetic toys?" Liu Yunchong scoffed disdainfully. Despite his words, he had no intention of continuing the fight. He retreated to his backpack, swiftly retrieving it and pulling out a hammer, which he used to smash the train window.
"Jiang Ling, Qu Liang, thank you for your treasure map. Until we meet again!" Liu Yunchong turned back to smile at us. His smile was simple, yet it sent a chill down my spine. With that, he darted away and jumped off the train, disappearing from our sight.
