I kicked the bathroom door three times before it finally swung open. As soon as it did, I rushed inside. 0

The bathroom was small, and as I entered, I saw Lan Yue standing in front of the sink, staring blankly at the mirror on the wall. 0

“Lan Yue, what are you doing?!” I walked over and slapped his shoulder hard, but he still didn’t react, continuing to gaze vacantly at the mirror. 0

I sensed something was wrong and thought to myself that Lan Yue might have lost his soul. I quickly looked into his eyes. 0

As the saying goes, the eyes are the windows to the soul. If Lan Yue had truly lost his soul, there would surely be something abnormal about his eyes. 0

When I looked closer, I noticed that Lan Yue's eyes were rolling back in his head, with nothing but white showing in his eye sockets, resembling a pair of dead fish eyes. 0

“Damn, he really has lost his soul!” 0

Within a person, there are three souls and seven spirits. If someone experiences an intense shock, their soul can flee from their body, leaving them in a daze. This is what is known as losing one's soul. 0

I bit my index finger and wrote a Command Character on Lan Yue's forehead. Then I took out two pieces of yellow paper and quickly drew two soul-recalling talismans. 0

A person has three souls and seven spirits, as well as three Soul Lanterns located at the top of their head and on each shoulder. What I needed to do now was ignite these three Soul Lanterns to summon Lan Yue's soul back. 0

I placed the soul-recalling talismans on Lan Yue's shoulders, then formed a seal with my hands and slapped his back firmly while shouting loudly, “Three souls grant me power, seven spirits lend me strength. Lost soul, heed my call and return swiftly!” 0

As soon as my words fell, the talisman on Lan Yue's shoulder ignited without fire, transforming into a fist-sized green mist that floated toward the mirror in front of him. 0

I furrowed my brow and said, “It really is this mirror causing trouble!” 0

I glanced back at Zhang Yang and asked, "Sister Zhang Yang, is it okay if I smash this mirror?" 0

Zhang Yang nodded, saying, "It's fine!" 0

With her approval, I immediately picked up a nearby stool and swung it toward the mirror on the wall. 0

I knew the mirror would shatter easily, so to avoid any shards injuring Lan Yue, I didn't use too much force. 0

The corner of the stool struck the mirror, instantly cracking a large section of it and creating a hole. Fortunately, no shards flew out to harm anyone. 0

A wisp of light green smoke drifted toward the crack and slowly began to seep inside. 0

After about a minute, the green smoke emerged again, trailing behind it a transparent figure that looked exactly like Lan Yue, but with its eyes closed. 0

Seeing Lan Yue's spirit emerge, I quickly dropped the stool and formed hand seals, pointing at the Command Character on Lan Yue's forehead. I shouted, "Soul does not leave the body, spirit does not depart; all is prepared, return to your place! Supreme Old Lord, hasten as commanded! Command!" 0

As soon as my words fell, a tangible red light emitted from the Command Character on Lan Yue's forehead, shooting into his spirit and gradually pulling it back into his body. 0

Since the spirit hadn't been away for long, returning was not too difficult. However, Lan Yue himself was not faring well. 0

As soon as the spirit made contact with Lan Yue's body, he began to tremble uncontrollably. His eyes rolled around wildly, and foam started to form at his mouth as if he were having a seizure. 0

Watching Lan Yue struggle, I shook my head inwardly. I knew that even once his spirit was fully restored, he would still be left quite weak. 0

Zhang Yang felt extremely anxious at Lan Yue's reaction. She clenched her fists and worriedly asked, "Jiang Ling, is Lan Yue okay?" 0

I nodded and reassured her, "He's fine, don't worry!" 0

After three or four minutes, I saw Lan Yue's spirit fully return to his body. He lay on the ground with his eyes tightly closed, unconscious. However, I knew he was no longer in danger, which made me breathe a sigh of relief. "Fortunately, it was just a scare!" 0

I scooped some cool water in my hands and splashed it on Lan Yue's face, waking him up immediately. 0

"Where is this?" Lan Yue groaned, slowly opening his eyes and getting up from the ground. 0

Having just returned to his body, Lan Yue felt weak and wobbled a bit as he stood. At that moment, Zhang Yang stepped forward to support him and asked with concern, "Lan Yue, are you okay?" 0

Looking at Zhang Yang beside him, Lan Yue's mind cleared instantly. He smiled and said, "Sister Zhang Yang, I'm fine; I'm just a bit weak." 0

Zhang Yang helped Lan Yue to the sofa in the living room. I sat down next to him and asked, "Lan Yue, what exactly happened just now?" 0

Lan Yue must have been greatly frightened to lose his spirit like that. Knowing that he wasn't very brave, I was curious about what had transpired. 0

Qu Liang and Zhang Yang were equally curious as we all turned our attention to Lan Yue. 0

After a moment of reflection, Lan Yue's face turned somewhat unnatural. He swallowed hard before saying, "I just saw myself die in the mirror!" 0

"Can you elaborate?" I prompted. 0

Lan Yue nodded, forcing herself to stay composed. "Earlier, after I finished using the restroom and was washing my hands, I looked up at the mirror and suddenly saw the reflection of a child." 0

"I was startled because I knew there was no one else in the bathroom. I recalled Sister Zhang Yang's nightmare and immediately guessed that the child might be the ghost we were looking for." 0

"So, I intended to step out and inform you all, but when I glanced back at the mirror, the child had vanished." 0

"I approached the mirror again, and that’s when the strange events began!" Lan Yue took a sip of cold water to calm her racing heart before continuing. "I saw my reflection in the mirror grinning at me with a sinister smile, then it used its finger to poke into its own eye. I was so terrified that I froze, standing there in front of the mirror without reacting." 0

"When I finally snapped out of it, my reflection had already gouged out my Left Eye and was preparing to do the same to the other one." 0

"I couldn't believe it, but when I looked at my hands, they were covered in blood, and I was holding an eyeball." 0

"Then, my vision in my Left Eye completely disappeared; everything turned pitch black. At that moment, panic set in." 0

"When I saw that my right eye had also been gouged out and I could no longer see anything, I felt something stab into my chest. I heard a voice whispering in my ear." 0

"The voice told me that my heart had been pierced and that I was already dead. After that, my mind went blank; I had no idea what was happening." 0

Lan Yue pointed at us. "When I woke up, you were already by my side!" 0
