The figures were all ghosts drawn in by the Summoning Talisman. I took a quick glance and noticed that these ghosts had less than ten years of cultivation, making them the lowest level of spirits. 0

Wang Shenglin inhaled the white smoke from the Summoning Talisman into his body, which would take about ten minutes to dissipate. Upon seeing the suddenly appearing ghosts, he frowned and charged forward with his Peach Wood Sword. 0

Xu Jingfeng saw the door to the Body Storage Room suddenly swing open, followed by Wang Shenglin rushing in and wildly slashing at the air, yet there was no visible figure in front of him. Feeling the strange atmosphere around him, he nervously stood beside me and asked, "What are you looking at?" 0

Seeing that Wang Shenglin could handle these ghosts, I refrained from intervening. I glanced at Xu Jingfeng, handed him the Ox Tears, and pointed to where they couldn't see the ghosts, saying, "If you apply this on your eyelids, you'll be able to see them!" 0

Xu Jingfeng and the others quickly applied the Ox Tears and discovered a group of figures before them. Wang Shenglin was engaged in combat with those apparitions using his Peach Wood Sword. 0

Xu Jingfeng noticed that the faces of those people were extremely pale; some had broken arms or large gashes on their heads. 0

One employee suddenly recalled something, his face turning ashen. He stammered, "Boss, I've seen these people before; they are all corpses we cremated at our funeral home!" 0

It was their first encounter with ghosts, and they struggled to accept it. Terrified, their bodies trembled uncontrollably as they didn't know what to do. 0

I shook my head. While Wang Shenglin was fighting ahead, I quickly retrieved a brush dipped in Cinnabar and a stack of yellow paper from my suitcase and swiftly drew nine Yang Qi Talismans. 0

A person has three Soul Lanterns: one above their head and two on their shoulders. The Yang Qi Talismans cannot kill ghosts but can make the three Soul Lanterns on a person shine more brightly and be harder to extinguish. 0

I distributed the Yang Qi Talismans to Xu Jingfeng and the others, saying, "Stick these on yourselves; they will provide some protection!" 0

They eagerly accepted the talismans and immediately affixed them to their bodies. After applying the Yang Qi Talismans, they felt a warm flow coursing through them, and their fear of the spirits diminished compared to before. 0

"Senior, help me!" Although Wang Shenglin's power surpassed that of those ghosts individually—he could definitely take down one ghost in a minute—he was now facing a horde. Despite having already defeated three or four spirits, he was left battered and bruised by their relentless attacks. 0

"Why are there more and more ghosts?!" I recalled that there had only been a dozen or so at first, but now there were at least thirty spirits here. 0

" Brother Jiang Ling, this is the funeral home. With so many dead, of course, there are plenty of ghosts!" Hu Yalong said, somewhat questioning my intelligence. 0

"Get lost! You think you know everything!" I kicked Hu Yalong aside and distributed five Peach Wood Swords, along with some Glutinous Rice and Black Dog Blood from the suitcase to him and the others. "Fatty, you guys go up and use the Peach Wood Swords to chop those ghosts. It's a good chance to practice your courage!" 0

Hu Yalong took the Peach Wood Sword and asked reluctantly, " Brother Jiang Ling, if we're going to catch ghosts, what are you going to do?" 0

I touched my ear and put on a mysterious expression. "I'll be resting over here. If any powerful ghost appears, I'll jump in to help you right away!" 0

Seeing me so serious, Hu Yalong and the others nodded without further comment and rushed forward with their gear. 0

Lan Yue held a Peach Wood Sword in his hand, strutting ahead of Zhang Yang. He patted his chest and said to her, "Sister Zhang Yang, don't worry! As long as I'm here, Lan Yue, those ghosts won't lay a finger on you!" 0

Zhang Yang chuckled lightly. "Then thank you very much!" 0

Hu Yalong and the others charged in. Some swung their Peach Wood Swords wildly at the group of ghosts, while others splashed Black Dog Blood at them. 0

At first, they were quite nervous, but when they saw the Peach Wood Swords striking the ghosts and green smoke rising from their bodies as they howled in pain, their fear quickly dissipated. 0

The ghosts hit by the Black Dog Blood were instantly sent into a panic. After letting out a wretched scream, they turned to ash and vanished into thin air. 0

"These ghosts are too easy to deal with!" Hu Yalong exclaimed as they realized how manageable the spirits were. They immediately let loose and attacked with abandon, leaving their previous fears far behind. 0

After Hu Yalong and Lan Yue killed their first ghost, changes began to occur within them. It was clear that they were destined to confront more supernatural beings; escaping unscathed was no longer an option. 0

I had previously wanted to keep Hu Yalong and Lan Yue away from such things, but I realized that spending too much time with me had already influenced them. As the saying goes, "One who stays near ink will inevitably become stained." 0

Hu Yalong and Lan Yue had already been subtly changed by me. Now, my task was to guide them as best as I could. 0

Wang Shenglin saw Hu Yalong rushing over to block the ghosts for him. He quickly dodged out of the way and sat down on the ground at a distance, beginning to circulate his energy to recover his internal mana. 0

"Take this, you fat bastard!" After slaying three ghosts with his Peach Wood Sword, Hu Yalong's confidence soared to its peak as he swaggered toward the ghost in front of him. 0

The ghost before Hu Yalong was a man in his twenties, and his appearance was horrifying. His legs had been crushed by a car, blood staining his pants completely red. A black tire mark covered half of his face, and his head was crushed on one side, with white brain matter mixed with blood oozing out. One of his remaining eyes hung out of its socket. 0

This ghost had died such a tragic death that he had accumulated a great deal of Grievance, far beyond what Hu Yalong had dealt with before. 0

"Wow!" The ghost opened its mouth and spat a cloud of gray Eerie Aura at Hu Yalong, which entered his body through his nose. Hu Yalong felt dizzy and struggled to stay upright. 0

"Haha, die for me!" Seeing that Hu Yalong had fallen for its trick, the ghost laughed maniacally and reached for Hu Yalong's neck. 0

"Ultimate Earth, Mystical Arts Have Methods! Annihilate!" Realizing Hu Yalong was in danger, I rushed over, drew a Talisman in my hand, and slapped it onto the ghost, instantly scattering its soul. 0

I stood by to support him and intervened three more times. After about seven or eight minutes, all the ghosts were dealt with. Wang Shenglin's Summoning Talisman had also run its course and stopped attracting more ghosts. 0

"I'm exhausted!" Hu Yalong said as he sat down on a nearby board where a corpse had been laid. 0

"Boss, the corpse is gone again!" an employee shouted, pointing at the board where Hu Yalong was sitting. I looked over and slowly remembered that there had indeed been a corpse on the bed where Hu Yalong now sat. 0
