“Yes, it’s about new projects! I was actually wondering if, with your investment, our Fist Game could explore more opportunities,” Li Hong replied honestly.
There was no point in hiding this from Ma Ge. After all, once he became a shareholder, he would find out sooner or later. So it was better to be transparent about it now.
“Haha, is one World Championship not enough for you? You’re already thinking about so much more; aren’t you afraid of exhausting yourself?” Ma Ge chuckled.
Li Hong laughed in response, “Isn’t this just following your Penguin Group’s example? We can also diversify our operations! I believe you have many projects that we could collaborate on.”
"Like what?" Ma Ge asked, puzzled.
"Goose Comics, Online Literature, videos, and other cultural industries."
"Aren't you a game company? Aren't you afraid that expanding into so many areas might backfire?" Ma Ge chuckled.
He knew that Li Hong was joking; a company focused solely on games couldn't possibly compare to their Penguin Group.
Diversified investment was indeed something many companies aspired to achieve. However, it was also a challenge with a very high threshold.
Diversification sounded easy in theory, but it was far from simple in practice. It wasn't just a matter of making a few investments; Penguin Group had been operating for so long and had only managed to tackle part of it, and they still weren't making significant profits.

Even a large enterprise like Penguin Group was stumbling through diversification. Fist Game was just a fledgling company; how could they even consider something that only big corporations would think about?
"I'm just joking; I actually don't dare to think about these things. But I do have a Film Company under me, and collaborating in video culture isn't something to laugh at," Li Hong nodded.
Ma Ge acknowledged this with a nod and said, "You're talking about Sweet Potato Films, right? I'm somewhat familiar with it. But do you really have such plans? As far as I know, Sweet Potato Films doesn't have a foundation as large as Fist Game's."
"Why are you wasting your time thinking about these trivial matters instead of focusing on your games?" Ma Ge said sternly.
"Of course, it's about making money; what else could I be thinking about?" Li Hong replied with a smile.
"Making money? Then you're probably overthinking it. Don't be fooled by how successful our Penguin Group's diversification seems right now; we probably haven't made as much money as your Goddess Alliance," Ma Ge said with a wry smile.
He wasn't entirely off the mark; many of Penguin's subsidiaries were indeed operating at a loss. If it weren't for the need to complete the internet ecosystem, Ma Ge would have considered selling off those subsidiaries one by one. They were simply too much of a headache.
"Let's make some money, though it won't be much. But there are indeed quite a few troubles!"
Take the Yuewen Group, which many people have high hopes for; in reality, within Penguin's internal structure, it is merely a part of completing the ecological chain and not as important as imagined.
Certainly, Online Literature is the upstream industry of all cultural sectors, but for Penguin, it is just an ordinary ecological link.
As for making money, honestly, at Ma Ge's level, he really doesn't care about the little money that Yuewen Group makes. What he values more is the influence that this segment brings to Penguin Group.

"Wow, Teacher Wang is really impressive! You've only been playing for a short time and you've already reached Silver rank," Piao Duan Diao exclaimed in surprise.
Wang Han feigned surprise and asked, "Really? I didn't know I was that good! So, Teacher Piao, how does my rank compare to others in the region?"
"Probably... a few millionth place!" Piao Duan Diao replied bluntly.
Upon hearing this, Wang Han immediately displayed a look of disappointment and sighed, "A few million? I thought with my skills I could at least make it into the top hundred on the server."
