After sending off the well-developed young girl, Li Hong dragged Loli along as they continued toward the Sales Office.
This property, named Sun City, had caught Li Hong's attention a long time ago. Unfortunately, he had been too poor to afford it back then, having no savings to speak of.
Now that he had a bit of money and with the increasing demand for housing, Li Hong was eager to find a new home.

Loli tightly held onto the hem of Li Hong's shirt and reminded him, "Uncle, are you really going to buy a house?"

With that, he pulled Loli along and walked through the glass doors.
"Hello, sir. May I help you..."
It was a quiet time at the Sales Office, and several saleswomen were gathered together, chattering away.
As soon as Li Hong appeared, one sharp-eyed saleswoman spotted him. However, as she opened her mouth to speak, she realized something was off.
Li Hong looked quite young and was dressed in ripped jeans and a Happy Sheep shirt—he clearly resembled an older loser.
Was this guy really just here to browse?
The pretty salesgirl in her business suit hesitated. Her professional instincts told her that this young man was most likely just looking around. It was very possible that she would end up busy for half the day without any results.

"Sir, you are here to look at the property, right?" The pretty salesgirl asked, but the lobby manager shot her a glare and approached to inquire.
Li Hong nodded and replied, "Yes, I would like to see a three-bedroom, two-living room, one-kitchen, and one-bathroom layout."
"Alright, please follow me."
The lobby manager led Li Hong towards the model display in the center of the sales office while introducing, "Sir, our Sun City properties are mostly comfortable three-bedroom, two-living room types. Do you have any specific requirements for the area?"
"Area..."
Li Hong pondered for a moment before saying, "Naturally, the larger the better. I won't consider anything below 140 square meters; ideally, it should be above 140."
The lobby manager was taken aback for a moment and then smiled wryly, "Sir, you're making it difficult for us. If it were during the initial launch, we would have plenty of three-bedroom, two-living room units at 168 square meters. However, they are all sold out now."
"Manager, there is still one unit of 168 square meters available," a saleswoman nearby reminded.

In the car, the Lobby Manager glanced at the rearview mirror and then smiled at Li Hong, asking, "Mr. Li, this is your daughter, right?"
When they got in the car, they exchanged names, so the Lobby Manager knew Li Hong's name.
Li Hong patted Loli's head and smiled, "Yes, she is my daughter. Yuchen, greet Uncle Luo."
"Hello, Uncle Luo!" Loli obediently greeted the Lobby Manager.
Manager Luo's face was filled with joy, clearly very pleased.
"Mr. Li, no matter what the final price of this house is, I'll give you a discount of 100,000!"
Li Hong was taken aback. Did Loli just save him 100,000 dollars by calling him uncle?
Although 100,000 wasn't much in terms of housing prices in Beijing, it was clear that Manager Luo was a die-hard Loli fan.

The house had been beautifully decorated, which naturally contributed to its appeal. If it were a bare shell, it wouldn't look nearly as good.
Even though Li Hong knew this was a tactic used by the developers, he couldn't help but yield to its charm. After walking around a few times, he turned to Manager Luo and asked, "Manager Luo, how much is this house?"
Manager Luo pulled out a document and began marking it up with a large pen.
"Mr. Li, our selling price here is 64,999 per square meter. This unit is 168 square meters... so the total price would be 10,919,800 Soft Sister Coins. How about this: if you give me 10.5 million, I’ll handle the property certificate for you."
