Soul Mix and Soul Days swept through the capital's gay scene, adding fuel to the fire of the movie's pre-sales.
"This is basically a quid pro quo, right?" Charlie asked.
Li Hong firmly rebutted, "No, no, no, this is just commercial flattery among gay men; it's definitely not anything shameful."

"They're doing alright," Charlie replied.

Charlie frowned and pondered, "I think Mark said it would be next month; the client for League of Legends should be ready by then."
"With their experience, why are they dragging their feet?" Li Hong scoffed.
This wasn't about redeveloping a game; they were just transferring it over. Besides, he had already set up the servers. It was infuriating how slow they were being.
Charlie explained, "It seems like the development and bug testing are done. The delay is apparently to change some character models. Anyway, Mark is always so cryptic; I don't really understand..."
Charlie had no idea where Mark and his team came from. He only knew that they were a game development group brought in by his boss. Moreover, the game was already completed.
As for anything else, Charlie truly had no clue.
"Changing character models?" Li Hong was puzzled and didn't know what Mark was up to.
Coincidentally, Mark and his team were located just above Sweet Potato Films, so it wasn't far at all.
Thus, Li Hong took quick steps and happily found Mark slumped in front of his computer.
"Hey, By, what are you doing?" Li Hong leaned in to ask.
Mark turned to glance at Li Hong and replied gruffly, "Boss, I'm straight."
"What a coincidence, I'm bent," Li Hong said with surprise.
"…"
What the hell? I'm clearly straight; how did it turn into bent in your mouth?
Ignoring Li Hong's erratic thoughts, Mark picked up the landline phone on the table. After dialing, he asked, "Tiamat, how's it going on your end?"
"Good, good, good…"
Once Mark hung up the phone, the ignored Li Hong finally spoke up, "Mark, what are you guys working on?"
"Oh, we're modifying the character models. Even in another world, we don't want to produce an identical product. So we need to recreate the hero's model."
Li Hong felt a headache coming on; wasn't this just creating trouble for no reason?
Using the League of Legends model directly would be so much easier!
"Truly, ugly people cause trouble!" Li Hong muttered.
"Boss, what did you say?" Mark turned back to ask.
"Nothing. I was just wondering if you need me to offer some suggestions."
Mark pondered for a moment before nodding. "You're right; you understand this world better than anyone. You should definitely give us some advice."
"Boss, wait a moment. I'll call Tiamat and the others over; it would be better to discuss this together."
Mark strutted out with a confident swagger, his hips swaying playfully.
"Your grandpa, isn't it still the same curve?" Li Hong remarked, his mind filled with sarcasm.
Before long, Mark returned with a few of the core designers in tow.
Everyone gathered around an oval conference table, sitting up straight and serious.
Mark opened his notebook and sketched something with a marker before speaking. "I called you all here for two reasons. First, to check on the progress of the hero template modifications. Second, to hear Boss's suggestions."
"Boss's suggestions? With all due respect, he doesn't know anything!" Tiamat said coldly.
"Shut up!" Li Hong shot back.
Mark shrugged and reminded them with a smirk, "But we don't really understand the design elements of this world. That's undoubtedly a critical weakness for us. If we want to be more successful than the previous League of Legends, we need to learn about the popular elements here."
With that said, Tiamat had no choice but to fall silent.
"Alright, Boss, please begin your remarks." Mark gestured toward Li Hong, signaling that he could speak.
Is it really that serious?
Experiencing this for the first time, Li Hong felt like he was seeing things in a new light. Shouldn't he be giving an opening speech for the meeting and then let Mark summarize?
But since Mark had set the tone, even if he felt uneasy about it, he had to muster the courage to start speaking.
"Well, I don't know much about games; aside from playing them, I have almost no insights. But I think for League of Legends to succeed here, it needs to incorporate some elements that are easily accepted in this world."
"So, what elements are those?" Tiamat asked curiously.

"So you became someone else's girlfriend?" Tiamat chimed in, landing a successful jab that earned her +45 gold coins!
Li Hong took a deep breath and said with the most envious tone, "Why is it that those lazy couch potatoes have girlfriends while I can only hold onto a cold doll through one dark night after another?"
"That doll is just trash; it's not even heated. What's the use of keeping her?" Mark scored first blood, earning +400 gold coins!
Li Hong paused, genuinely caught off guard by that remark.
"Uh, that's not important! Just understand one thing: I can't find a girlfriend."
"I'm feeling powerless. Faced with all kinds of extravagant displays of affection, I can only curl up in the corner and mend the doll that was burned by a cigarette butt. Until..."

"Sailor Suit or Nurse Outfit?" Mark unleashed his ultimate move, achieving a double kill, earning +00 gold coins!
