Not long after, Ada rushed back from the hospital, panting heavily. "I found it! I found it! And they're all fresh! This is great, I'm saved!" With that, Ada opened a plastic bag, revealing more than a dozen bloody placentas. 0

I was taken aback. "Damn, go wash them first and cook them before eating. Who knows what kind of germs they might have? But if you eat them raw, it might be even more effective." 0

Ada ignored the germs; he was truly terrified. He went to the kitchen, sprinkled some soy sauce and salt on one, and started munching on it. 0

I felt a bit nauseous. 0

Soon, Ada finished one. He looked disgusted but managed to hold it together. Wiping his mouth, he came out and said to me, "Brother Song, if I really survive this, I will definitely pay respects to your ancestors for eight generations." 0

"Alright, alright. Surviving is a sure thing; I'm very confident in this treatment method. By the way, Ada, we might need to visit Ma Xiang's grave tomorrow," I said. 0

"Why?!" Ada was clearly terrified of that place. 0

I sat on the sofa and sighed. "It's not that simple. You, the four grave diggers, and Ma Xiang are all victims. That place definitely has other things! It can drain your essence and turn Ma Xiang into a White-haired Zombie. This thing... it's not simple!" 0

Upon hearing that there were other things in the graveyard, Ada became even more frightened. 0

"Brother Song, can I... can I not go? I really can't bear to go there," Ada said with a mournful face, his wrinkles making him look quite terrifying under the light. 0

I waved my hand. "No way; we have to go. But let's choose to go at noon; that way it should be fine." 0

Ada could only nod in agreement. 0

It was already late at night, and I felt a bit hungry. After searching around, I found that all this guy had at home was instant noodles, so I had no choice but to make some. 0

I finished my instant noodles and fell asleep on the sofa. 0

The next noon, I took Ada and returned to Ma Family Village once again. 0

In the middle of the day, many elderly people from Ma Family Village were sitting outside their houses soaking up the sun. With so many people around, it felt less intimidating. 0

When Ada and I arrived at the cemetery, there were still some people nearby grazing sheep on the mountain. Under the midday sun, it was quite pleasant. 0

Reaching Ma Xiang's grave, I got out of the car and looked into the grave again. In broad daylight, the grave was exposed to the sun, and there wasn't much shade at all. 0

Ada and I jumped into the cemetery together. 0

I said, "There’s definitely something strange about this place, Ada. Didn’t you feel anything odd when you came here to steal clothes last time?" 0

Ada thought for a moment before replying, "I just felt cold—very cold and eerie. But I didn’t pay much attention to it back then because it was just a small grave, and I didn’t light any candles or anything." 0

I nodded and started tapping around the grave. Suddenly, I exclaimed as I noticed a half-buried golden piece of paper in the dirt. 0

I quickly bent down and pulled out the paper. It had been partially severed by an iron pickaxe, and several words were written in gold ink—Sanskrit characters. Looking at those words, I suddenly remembered that they resembled the mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum," commonly used in Esoteric Buddhism. Although I wasn't very familiar with it, having spent so much time with Yang Gou Dan allowed me to recognize it somewhat. 0

At that moment, the characters on the paper were already quite faded, but I could still sense a certain energy emanating from them. 0

I hurriedly absorbed that energy into my body. This power wasn’t Demonic Power; rather, it felt similar to divine energy. Though not abundant, once it entered my body, it surged with an overwhelming sensation. 0

After absorbing the energy, an unsettling thought suddenly crossed my mind. 0

Ada also noticed the piece of paper. He squatted down and asked, "What is this? Is it used for rituals?" 0

I said, "This isn't some kind of ritual to fool people; it seems like a seal. There's something beneath this grave." 0

Ada jumped in surprise. 0

I reassured him, "It's fine, it's broad daylight. No matter how powerful it is, it can't do anything. Since you're from a tomb-raiding family, hurry up and find a way down. Let's see what's going on." 0

Ada looked up at the sun and felt much more at ease. He began to knock around the grave and then pointed to a spot beside the coffin, saying, "Brother Song, this must be the place; it's hollow here." 0

I walked over and scraped away some dirt, revealing something that looked like a tile. I knew we had found the right spot. I moved the tile aside, and Ada came over to help me. After moving a few more tiles, suddenly there was an empty space beneath, revealing a dark cavity. 0

Both Ada and I were startled; it was too dark inside, and we hesitated to enter immediately. 0

I went to the car to grab a powerful flashlight, jumped down, and shone it into the cave. Inside was a pile of bones, and beneath them was a meditation cushion. In front of the cushion stood a Zen staff. 0

Ada trembled uncontrollably. 0

It was my first time seeing such an eerie scene, but I remained much calmer than Ada. I carefully observed everything around me and continued to dig with my hands. Suddenly, it all clicked. 0

"Ada, it seems we've really gotten ourselves into trouble," I said. 0

"What happened?" Ada asked, shivering. 0

"Look at these bricks and this structure; what does it resemble?" I asked. 0

Ada shook his head. 0

"This is a tower! And it's the Demon Suppression Tower! I don't know what's locked inside, but it must be something formidable because this monk sat here to meditate in order to imprison this demon! Now, during the excavation of the grave, those construction workers broke the seal of this Demon Suppression Tower by digging it up. Plus, since the tower has long since collapsed, the demon has escaped." 0

"Ah? Oh! That's good." Ada sighed in relief. "As long as it's not still inside." 0

I shot Ada a glare and said, "Let's go down and take a look. No matter what Demon it is, we have to find a way to subdue it again with the help of someone powerful." 0

Ada reluctantly nodded. 0

We found a rope, tied one end to the coffin, and let the other end dangle down into the Pagoda. I then slid down the rope. 0

The Pagoda was cold and eerie. It had been severely damaged, but occasionally I could see dense Buddhist scriptures carved into the stone walls inside! 0

When I reached the monk's side, I shone my flashlight ahead. In front of me was a complex swastika formation, and in the center of this formation stood a wooden Zen Staff! 0

Looking into the center of the formation, I saw that what should have been the sealing point was now exposed; only that Zen Staff remained upright. 0

I touched the pile of bones; they felt brittle. Beneath the bones lay a string of Bodhi Seeds strung together as prayer beads. I picked them up, but before I could exert any force, they tumbled down with a clatter. It seemed that after so much time, the string holding the Bodhi Seeds had rotted away! 0

After confirming once more, I realized that whatever had been sealed in the monk's formation was indeed gone. I stepped into the formation and grasped the Zen Staff. 0

To my surprise, the Zen Staff felt warm and surprisingly heavy. It was covered in various intricate scriptures, now coated with a layer of dust. 0

As I held the Zen Staff, an overwhelming surge of power radiated from it. However, that power was confined within the staff; while I could sense it, I couldn't absorb it into my body. 0

Yet, that power was immense—so immense that I'd need to absorb hundreds of White-haired Zombies to match such Witch Power! 0

In that moment of gripping the Zen Staff, I never wanted to let go! 0

I knelt down with a thud and spoke loudly to the old monk's remains: "Great Master above, today this junior has a fateful connection with this Zen Staff and shall take it for my own use! I vow to slay that escaping demon to repay your kindness in gifting me this staff!" 0

I didn't care whether the old monk agreed or not; I suddenly yanked the Wooden Zen Staff out and held it in my hands! 0

Although the Zen Staff was made of wood, it felt a bit heavy. 0

As I held the Zen Staff, an inexplicable excitement surged within me. 0

Suddenly, with a loud crash, a brick fell from above and landed beside me, shattering into pieces. 0

Ada looked over and shouted, "Damn it, Brother Song, your greed has angered the old monk! Quickly return the Zen Staff!" 0

Of course, I wasn't going to give it back. I had always dreamed of possessing a magical artifact, and now that I finally had this Zen Staff in my hands, I wouldn't return it even if it meant getting crushed. 0

I retorted, "Shut up! It's the Demon Suppression Tower that's about to collapse! We need to get up there quickly." 0

With that, I slung the Zen Staff over my shoulder and grabbed the rope to climb up. 0

At that moment, more bricks began to fall. A large number of them were tumbling down, causing Ada below to scream in panic. 0

In just a few seconds, I managed to wrap my legs around the rope and climbed to the top of the tower. 0

Ada was still struggling on the rope; after a while, he had only managed to climb half a meter. Terrified, he yelled, "Brother Song! Brother Song! Hurry and save me! Help!" 0

Once I reached the top, I turned around and began pulling on the rope. 0

Fortunately, Ada was quite slender; he weighed less than a hundred pounds. I could feel the ground beneath me shaking. 0

Ada continued to scream in terror from below. 0

I said, "Shut up and hold on to the rope. If you say another word, I'll leave you here." 0

Ada immediately fell silent. 0

I turned around and quickly pulled Ada up. She was so scared that her face had lost all color. I grabbed her and jumped up towards the cemetery. 0

Just as we climbed to the top of the grave pit, there was a loud rumble, and the entire grave collapsed. I felt my body tilt, and the ground beneath us began to give way, dropping over twenty meters. 0

Ada and I hurriedly ran towards the car. 0

Fortunately, the Demon Suppression Tower wasn't very large. After the ground sank more than half a meter, it filled in the tower, and then the entire ground stabilized. 0

"Hey, what are you two kids doing?" An old farmer tending sheep walked over to us. 0
