This is undoubtedly the most bizarre horror film I have ever seen, based on a true event from Taiwan. Upon its release, it became a childhood nightmare for countless netizens. It is said that no one involved in the incident escaped unscathed. 0

A friendly reminder: the film is shot in a mockumentary style, bringing it uncomfortably close to reality. Those interested can search for it online. 0

There is a cave that living people should never approach. It is said to house a deity, and once angered, one will suffer an eternal curse. 0

However, the protagonist, Ruonan, a daring individual, does not believe in such tales and recklessly ventures into the cave. As a result, not only do her parents die in a car accident, but even the police officer who came to investigate ends up committing suicide at the station. 0

"My name is Li Ruonan. Six years ago, I violated a terrible taboo. At that time, anyone who got too close to this matter met with misfortune that I cannot explain." 0

Six years ago, Ruonan heard that her boyfriend A Dong's hometown had a cave that was absolutely forbidden to enter. So she teamed up with A Dong and their friend A Yuan to form an exploration squad, intending to uncover the secrets of this cave. 0

However, as soon as they arrived at the village entrance, their car wheels rolled over a statue of Buddha. A Dong said solemnly, "This is the Mother Buddha worshipped by our village." 0

Strangely enough, as soon as Ruonan saw the Mother Buddha, her stomach churned violently and she began to vomit uncontrollably. 0

A Dong thought Ruonan was simply unwell and didn’t pay much attention, unaware that this was a warning from the Mother Buddha. 0

Upon entering the village, the villagers greeted them warmly. However, when they saw Ruonan, they all made a strange gesture in unison. 0

That night, the three of them went to the ancestral hall where the villagers solemnly asked them to write their names on yellow talismans. Then they took an incense burner and slowly circled it over their heads several times before signaling for them to bow three times and knock their heads nine times before the Mother Buddha. 0

After the ritual was completed, the shaman looked at them darkly and said, "You have now sacrificed yourselves to the Mother Buddha. You must return every ten years to pay homage. Even after Ruonan's child is born, they too must be sacrificed to the Mother Buddha." 0

Ruonan was taken aback and incredulously replied, "What? I didn't even know I was pregnant." 0

Back at their lodging, the three felt that the villagers' behavior was quite odd and decided they needed to explore the cave quickly and leave this place behind. 0

As soon as they stepped outside, they found all the villagers gathered together, murmuring something with low, eerie voices. 0

A Yuan, curious, intended to take out his camera to film the scene but was spotted by a little girl among the crowd. 0

However, the girl did not alert the villagers. Instead, she carefully led them to a strange room. 0

Inside, there were numerous statues of Mother Buddha, and oddly enough, they were all seated with their backs turned. 0

Just as Ruonan was feeling perplexed, a drop of black blood suddenly fell from above. 0

Startled, Ruonan looked up and discovered that the black blood was dripping from a decaying mural. 0

Ruonan asked in confusion, "What happened to your ears?" 0

"They were taken by Mother Buddha. Because I am chosen by the divine, Mother Buddha took my flesh to bless everyone," the little girl replied expressionlessly. 0

No sooner had she finished speaking than a strange noise came from behind them. The two turned nervously to see that all the statues of Mother Buddha on the altar had turned their heads toward them. 0

Seeing this, the girl quickly shielded Ruonan with her body, closed her eyes tightly, and began chanting a spell rapidly. 0

Though it temporarily quelled Mother Buddha's wrath, her chanting attracted the attention of the villagers. 0

Furious, the villagers locked the three of them away, but this still could not stop the advance of the Suicide Squad. 0

Taking advantage of a moment when the villagers were distracted, they stealthily burst through the door and slipped out. 0

However, as they approached a nearby cave, they discovered that the villagers were conducting a mysterious sacrificial ritual. 0

After the ceremony concluded, the three of them rushed forward to take a look, only to discover that the offering made by the villagers to Mother Buddha was none other than the little girl they had just seen. 0

Her face was covered in runes, and her body was wrapped in a piece of yellow cloth. No matter how Ruonan called out, she could not wake her. 0

Ruonan anxiously said, "I need to take the little girl to the hospital first." 0

But A Yuan, that reckless fool, insisted on exploring the cave first. 0

He recklessly kicked open the wooden door sealing the cave, and in the next moment, a child's cry echoed from within. 0

A Yuan initially thought to give up, but Ruonan's maternal instincts surged. She urgently said, "There might really be a child trapped inside the cave. I need to go in and find out." 0

A Dong, worried for Ruonan's safety, said, "You stay here and take care of the little girl. A Yuan and I will go check it out." 0

However, once they entered the cave, the child's cries suddenly stopped. But since they were already inside, they had no choice but to press on. 0

Deep within the cave, they discovered an altar with a Buddha Mother Statue placed upon it. The statue's head was covered by a red cloth. 0

As A Dong approached and listened closely, he realized that the child's cries were coming from this very spot. Out of curiosity, he prepared to lift the red cloth. But in the next moment, A Dong began to scream frantically at Mother Buddha as if possessed. 0

A Yuan panicked and rushed forward to stop him, but suddenly a mirror behind them shattered and countless ghostly hands reached out from the walls. When A Yuan regained consciousness, he found A Dong repeatedly banging his head against the wall. 0
