"Boom!" A muffled sound echoed through the narrow Passageway as a massive Battle Mech collapsed with a thunderous crash. Although this mech was an unmanned automated Battle Mech, making it powerful in its own right, it lacked the agility of a piloted machine.
Suddenly, Ye Yu's earlobe twitched lightly, and in the next moment, he transformed into a shadow, shooting toward the other end of the Passageway.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!" Several loud crashes followed as multiple shadows slammed against the Alloy walls on either side.
It was the Battle Robots operated by Jin Shan that had been sent flying by a colossal figure. Despite their fierce nature, these Battle Mechs were no match for such a massive opponent due to the vast difference in size.
Ye Yu moved swiftly; as soon as he detected the enemy's assault, he immediately turned his weapon and fired a thick Laser Beam at the gigantic entity.
In an instant, a blue light appeared on the Unmanned Combat Drone.
"Zing!" A piercing sound of impact rang out, marking the immense energy shockwave generated by the dissipating energy!
"Energy Shield!" Ye Yu exclaimed softly, instinctively blurring his figure to avoid direct contact with the enemy. He had not yet reached Huang Laowai's level of combat prowess, which allowed him to withstand a Battle Mech with sheer physical strength.
At that moment, the Battle Mech held an object resembling a wooden stick, which was glowing blue and taking on the form of a shield—it was a Portable Energy Shield. By activating its energy, one could create an energy barrier.
Ye Yu had managed to shatter one of the mechs with a single blow due to his initial advantage. However, for such a formidable Unmanned Combat Mech, it could establish a defensive state in less than a second.
Having missed his shot, Ye Yu found himself under attack as a mountain-like figure lunged toward where he had dodged! If he were struck solidly, he would not only be injured but might even lose his life.
In that critical moment, just as the enemy formed its attack stance, Ye Yu sprang forward with a push from his toes, charging directly at the foe!
On one side stood the Metal Behemoth, and on the other was an ordinary human. Anyone witnessing this scene would feel their heart race with fear, as if they were about to witness a gruesome fate unfold before their eyes!
Suddenly, as Ye Yu propelled himself forward, he had barely covered half the distance when he twisted his waist sharply, and his body plummeted sideways! Almost simultaneously, Ye Yu's feet pushed off the ground with great force, causing him to change direction abruptly and charge towards the side of the Metal Behemoth!
Everything happened in an instant. Ye Yu altered his trajectory mid-flight, and then his arm bent in a strange manner! Suddenly, a Crimson Light Beam shot towards the side of the Metal Behemoth!
It was only at this moment that the Metal Behemoth realized Ye Yu's intentions. He had forcefully changed his posture mid-attack and positioned himself beside the Metal Behemoth. At this point, Ye Yu was almost pressed against the Metal Behemoth! Just then, Ye Yu fired a Laser Beam that struck directly at the creature's waist.
A wave of intense heat surged into Ye Yu's mind through his arm as the Laser Beam melted the metal, causing a rapid increase in temperature. Ye Yu pushed off the ground with his legs and retreated several steps.
After being attacked, the Metal Behemoth spun around violently, its palm transforming into a dark cannon aimed directly at Ye Yu's position.
Suddenly, Ye Yu revealed a strange smile, and then he vanished from sight! The Metal Behemoth, after all, was not a true human and could not calculate Ye Yu's movement trajectory in time.
In that brief moment of hesitation, Ye Yu had already appeared right in front of the Metal Behemoth.
In the next instant, a shadow flashed by as Ye Yu climbed onto the top of the Metal Behemoth like a monkey.
A clever Phase Gun was pressed against the creature’s head while a crimson glow ignited in Ye Yu's palm.
Realizing the dire situation, the Metal Behemoth swung its arms in an attempt to swat Ye Yu away. However, it was too late; Ye Yu's Phase Cannon pierced through the Metal Behemoth's head just as its arms were swinging.
All of this transpired within mere seconds; Ye Yu had effortlessly taken down two Metal Behemoths. Before he could catch his breath, another wave of danger descended!
"Zhi! Zhi! Zhi!" Several lasers suddenly shot towards Ye Yu from both sides of the Passageway!
Having just unleashed a fierce attack, Ye Yu found himself drained of energy; his old strength was spent while new power had yet to build up. Even though he sensed danger approaching, it was difficult for him to leverage his speed advantage at that moment!
However, Ye Yu was not one to accept fate. The moment he sensed danger, his body twisted instinctively!
Suddenly, Ye Yu felt a tremendous impact at the position of his arm, causing his entire arm to tingle with pain.
Ye Yu's eyes narrowed as he realized he had been hit by a Laser Beam. A charred hole the size of a thumb had appeared in his lightweight spacesuit, and smoke was even rising from it!
Fortunately, he was still wearing the Silver Dragon Armor. While the power of the Laser Beam was formidable, it only inflicted some impact damage.
"Block those trying to get in!" Ye Yu shouted, his form shifting simultaneously! The Passageway here was narrow, leaving him with few places to evade. He had no choice but to retreat once more to the Power Cabin, where Jin Shan was still absorbing energy without any sign of stopping.
"Listen inside, if you don't surrender now, we won't hold back!" Suddenly, a deep male voice came from around the corner of the Passageway, attempting to negotiate a surrender.
Ye Yu sneered and replied, "If you have the guts, come in and fight! Stop wasting time!" This was the Power Cabin; they couldn't bombard him with heavy weapons and could only use light arms!
"Alright, Team One, commence the attack!" Clearly aware that negotiation was futile, the opposing side immediately prepared to launch their assault.
Although Ye Yu had those Battle Robots assisting him, the enemy's forces seemed endless. At this rate, he would surely be captured alive.
Just then, the robots controlled by Jin Shan underwent another transformation; they quickly stacked on top of each other! In just a few blinks of an eye, they morphed into two massive Battle Robots that stood guard on either side of the Passageway, embodying an impenetrable barrier!
Ye Yu felt a surge of joy; he recognized this as Jin Shan's handiwork! In an instant, his form blurred again and when he reappeared, it was already at the right side of the Passageway!
