Lin Yi shook his head; no one could predict such things. Right now, Li Qiweng was afflicted by a strange poison, and even with her infinite life energy, she couldn't control its effects. Without that energy to support her, Lin Yi genuinely feared that Li Qiweng might lose her life.
"My dear, don't you realize that if you don't do this, not just you and me, but your brothers as well will all be doomed!" Li Qiweng's eyes were misty, her emotions complex. However, Lin Yi failed to notice that as he infused energy into Li Qiweng, the area around them blossomed with vibrant life. The previously sparse grassland was now adorned with unknown wildflowers, creating a breathtakingly beautiful scene.
At this moment, Lin Yi also realized that Li Qiweng's internal state had stabilized; there were no signs of poisoning whatsoever. But as he had anticipated, she had become an ordinary person again—her body devoid of any energy!
"Boss, have you recovered?" Jiao Jiao's easygoing nature shone through now; while everyone else remained stunned, she had already grasped the direction of events. This was why Lin Yi had chosen her as the intelligence officer.
"Yes. I'm basically back to normal now but need to get accustomed to this energy," Lin Yi nodded. The powerful sensation had returned; he couldn't help but feel like letting out a triumphant roar.
"Alright. Everyone gather around; I'll purge the poison from your bodies!" Lin Yi waved at them and released a wave of green energy that enveloped everyone instantly.
After absorbing all of Li Qiweng's green energy and combining it with his own Vast Energy within him, he became extraordinarily powerful. In just a blink of an eye, the energy he released completely neutralized the poison in everyone's bodies and even slightly enhanced their abilities! However, Lin Yi soon discovered a secret: the pill Wang Zijun had given Ika earlier wasn't a Zombie Virus after all; it seemed to have been one of her pranks instead.
"The feeling of having power is truly wonderful!" Old Bai let out a sigh. The previous night had been one of the most difficult he had endured in decades. It was a night when his fate was completely out of his control, a feeling that left him helpless.
However, not everyone felt like Old Bai. Douglas lay on the ground, seemingly soulless and unmoving. Although his strength had returned, his spirit was no longer with him.
"Blade Brother! My condolences!" Lin Yi bowed towards Douglas. As the leader of the team, he felt deeply pained that his comrades had fallen into such perilous circumstances, suffering heavy losses.
"Jones wouldn’t want you to feel this way!" At that moment, Ika, covering her mouth with her hand, cried as she crouched down beside Douglas. Ika had always shared a close bond with Jones, and now that he was gone, her heart ached terribly.
Douglas remained silent, but the tears at the corners of his eyes betrayed him. His mind was filled with memories of Jones, and the thought of Beauty's absence caused an inexplicable pain in his heart, one that overwhelmed him emotionally.
He knew the situation was dangerous; if they weren't careful, they could find themselves in peril once again. Yet he couldn't muster the courage to face this reality—the reality without Jones.
Lin Yi sighed. No matter how powerful he was, he couldn't heal the psychological wounds inflicted on others! Suddenly, at that moment, three powerful presences shot towards them at high speed.
"Blade Brother, if you're hurting, then take care of the one who caused Jones' death!" With his strength renewed, Lin Yi quickly sensed the approaching threat—it was Wang Kai and his family!

"Wang Kai is mine! Wang Zijun belongs to Blade Brother. As for Wang Bo, leave him to Black and Red. The rest of you take care of my wife!" A slight smile appeared on Lin Yi's lips as he issued his commanding orders with great authority.
Before Lin Yi could make a move, Douglas shot forward like an arrow released from its bow towards Wang Zijun! Lin Yi nodded in approval and in the next moment appeared right in front of Wang Kai. At that instant, Wang Kai felt the presence of death looming over him!
As Douglas soared into action, nine blades hovered around him. These nine blades were specially crafted using the hardest alloys forged by modern technology! With these nine flying knives, he could execute the most perfect combination!
However, Wang Zijun had already surpassed Ten-Star Peak in strength while Douglas was still at the pinnacle of Star Level ten; yet his Psychic Power had long reached an extraordinary level.
"Hmph! I'll send you to reunite with your ugly wife!" Seeing Douglas charging fiercely towards him, Wang Zijun wasted no time as a flash of light appeared from his knife—a massive scimitar materialized in his hand!
"Out—" Douglas seemed unaffected by Wang Zijun's taunts as the nine flying knives spun rapidly around him. Upon closer inspection, it became evident that the ninth knife hovering in the center seemed to have vanished!
In the next moment, Douglas's flying knives suddenly scattered and swiftly slashed through the void as if targeting some unseen monster within the intangible air. Spectators could even see waves of energy radiating outward!
"You think your petrifying energy can reach me? Not a chance!" Douglas declared confidently, fully back in battle mode. Even though his opponent was stronger, he showed no fear.
"Really?" Wang Zijun replied with a ghostly smile, and in an instant, her figure vanished. However, Douglas remained unfazed, swiftly recalling the flying daggers that had been sent far away, forming a protective net around himself.
At that moment, Wang Zijun reappeared, wielding a massive blade aimed directly at Douglas's head!
"Go—!" Douglas shouted, and the daggers surrounding him lined up to collide with the Energy Blade in Wang Zijun's hand!
"Clang—"
The first dagger shattered against her Energy Blade, but immediately after, the second dagger surged forward, followed by the third... until the eighth dagger engaged in a series of fierce clashes with her Energy Blade in rapid succession. The once formidable Energy Blade was now wobbling precariously!
Yet at this moment, Douglas showed no signs of fear. A glint of determination flashed in his eyes! The next moment, a ninth dagger appeared ominously above Wang Zijun's head!
Before Douglas could even express his joy, he noticed that the ninth dagger was covered in gray stones! He realized that this young woman had turned her hidden dagger to stone!
