As Lin Yi's voice fell, the speed of the Crimson Energy Blade in his hand surged wildly, forming two walls of blade light that enveloped the Long-Haired Zombie completely.
With Lin Yi's attacks accelerating, the golden light surrounding the Long-Haired Zombie flickered more slowly, its color fading increasingly.
"No... it can't be... no one can kill me!"
The Long-Haired Zombie felt its energy rapidly depleting, and the once proud expression on its face was now filled with terror. It realized that death was truly near. Even though it possessed an Immortal Body, it could only struggle to cope in the face of such overwhelming destructive power.
Seeing the diminishing golden light, a smirk appeared on Lin Yi's face. Suddenly, a flame materialized above the Undying Space, hovering ominously.
In the next moment, Lin Yi's body spun abruptly, and the blade light erupted with intensity. What had merely been cutting through its body transformed into a whirlwind that scattered the pieces of the Long-Haired Zombie throughout the confined space.
"Boom—"
The flame hovering in the Undying Space suddenly engulfed the entire area, filling it with the acrid scent of charred flesh.
"Lin Yi, even if I die, I will drag you down with me!" Voices echoed throughout the space as if a million Long-Haired Zombies were speaking. The Long-Haired Zombie had been sliced into countless pieces by Lin Yi's blade light, each fragment representing a part of it.
At the same time, each piece of flesh was extremely weak; Lin Yi's fiery power ignited them instantly! Just as the Long-Haired Zombie finished speaking, the surrounding energy became unstable.
"Burn—"
With a fierce shout from Lin Yi, the flames transformed into a brilliant white. The Burning Power surged to an extraordinary strength. In that instant, Lin Yi severed the Long-Haired Zombie's control over the Undying Space, and at that moment, the Burning Power melted away the now masterless Undying Space.
Before the Long-Haired Zombie could detonate its own energy, Lin Yi completely erased it from this world!
"Bang bang bang bang!"
Just as the Long-Haired Zombie was completely burned to ashes, the four massive hammers that had been roaring with power exploded in succession, transforming into streams of wandering energy that slowly dissipated within Lin Yi's Absolute Space.
"Take care, brother!"
Lin Yi closed his eyes and let out a long breath. He had dealt with the killer of Pachy, but his heart was far from light.
Outside of Absolute Space, a frail figure was battling a gigantic Super Tier Zombie. As Lin Yi emerged from Absolute Space, seeing that figure made his heart ache.
The Super Tier Zombie was formidable, having reached at least the same level of strength as Wang Kai back in the day. Its quick reflexes meant that even Lin Yi would find it challenging to deal with.
"Ying Sa..." Lin Yi moved swiftly to Ying Sa's side. This frail woman was fighting desperately due to his earlier mistake; he couldn't bear to blame her.
"Honey—"
Ying Sa's eyes were red. Lin Yi's earlier call had touched her deepest feelings, causing him great pain.
"Leave the rest to me!"
Looking at the bloodstains on Ying Sa's body, Lin Yi felt a surge of heartache. He transformed into a streak of light and charged toward the massive Zombie. Even as he approached, his speed did not waver in the slightest!
In the next moment, a metallic sheen flashed across Lin Yi's body. He shot forward like a human bullet, crashing through the gigantic Zombie's body and splitting it in two! The lifeless Zombie's remains fell downward, moving erratically.
Ying Sa watched as Lin Yi effortlessly defeated the Zombie that she had struggled against just moments before. Her expression shifted rapidly until it finally settled into that of a neighborly girl, disregarding everything else as she rushed over and embraced Lin Yi tightly.
Feeling the youthful energy pulsing in his arms, Lin Yi gently patted Ying Sa's back and whispered, "Everything will pass."
Pachy and the others were not just Lin Yi's siblings; they were also Ying Sa's. It was important to remember that Ying Sa had once served as the Captain of the Blood Envoy Mercenary Corps, and she held deep feelings for this team as well. Her sadness was certainly no less than Lin Yi's.
Although the Zombie army led by Long-Haired Zombie was formidable, Long-Haired Zombie was now dead. The remaining zombies were strong, but with Lin Yi around, everyone felt secure about their lives.
However, Renesmee's condition was dire. She had just danced on the edge of life and death, her energy depleted and suffering from internal injuries. Her organs were shattered. Nicolas, who had been guarding Renesmee's side, was also severely injured.
Currently, there were very few healing medicines available, and Lin Yi and the others had none. To be safe, Lin Yi had to personally watch over them.
The combined power of Black and Red was already enough to deal with a Super Tier Zombie, and Wang Zijun and Elisa were also formidable fighters, holding off other Super Tier Zombies! Although Lin Yi was guarding Renesmee, several Super Tier Zombies surrounded him, attempting to kill him. However, Lin Yi dispatched all of these zombies without much effort.

Suddenly, a new powerful aura shot toward the battlefield at an incredible speed. Almost as soon as Lin Yi noticed it, the figure appeared before him.
Lin Yi's heart trembled; that unforgettable figure stood in front of him. Over the years, his fate had been continuously altered by this very presence.
"Zhao Pei!"
Many recognized this figure; Old Bai and Jiao Jiao knew about Lin Yi's past and were aware of this former close friend of his.
"Hello everyone! I didn't expect to see you again!"
Zhao Pei was nothing like he had been at first—always looking somber and burdened. Now he appeared more like an ordinary person. If those who didn't know him saw him now, they would surely think he was just a cheerful young man.
“Ouyang Shasha!”
Some noticed Zhao Pei, but others were drawn to the enchanting woman he held close. She gazed at him with adoration, completely oblivious to the stares of those around her.
Behind Zhao Pei trailed a large group of Zombies, all High-Level Zombies. Yet, among them, one familiar figure stood out—Carlo, who had left with Ouyang Shasha. However, he now bore a deep, bone-revealing scar across his face, his expression twisted with brutality. His Scarlet eyes betrayed no hint of reason, exuding a fierce and merciless aura.
“You two…”
Even Lin Yi, not the sharpest tool in the shed, understood that Zhao Pei and Ouyang Shasha were together. But Zhao Pei was a Zombie, while Ouyang Shasha clearly lacked any trace of Zombie essence!
Moreover, Lin Yi knew that Ouyang Shasha shared a lineage with vampires like Ying Sa, albeit a diluted one.
“Old buddy, you can’t have all the lovely ladies surrounding you while I stand here all alone!” Zhao Pei said as he squeezed Ouyang Shasha’s ample curves. She responded playfully by nibbling on his ear, her cheeks flushed.
Suppressing the strange emotions bubbling within him, Lin Yi pressed on with his question: “So what’s your purpose for coming here?”
“I made a deal with you once before, but I doubt you’d agree this time! Now it’s simple: either you kill me or I kill you!” Zhao Pei slapped Ouyang Shasha’s rounded backside and then swiftly appeared in front of Lin Yi.
Lin Yi looked at this old friend from his memories; he hadn’t changed at all, not even in temperament. He felt dazed, as if everything was a dream.
Yet the faintest trace of Zombie essence emanating from Zhao Pei did not escape Lin Yi’s keen senses. He understood that some things could never return to how they once were.
“What’s wrong? Do you also believe in the lies of the Eternal Kingdom?”
Lin Yi remained on high alert as he regarded Zhao Pei. His strength had always been on the cutting edge of evolution; although Lin Yi felt confident in his own abilities, he still couldn’t gauge Zhao Pei accurately.
"I don't believe it, so I want to cherish the days I have alive!" Zhao Pei chuckled, then took a few steps back, his aura rising sharply.
"Indeed, extraordinary!"
Lin Yi realized that there was no room for further discussion between them. Without hesitation, he unleashed Absolute Space, enveloping both Zhao Pei and the Zombie completely. His own strength was insufficient to deal with the remaining foes; he preferred to take risks himself rather than endanger his allies.
In the next moment, Misty Cloud surrounded the entire Absolute Space. Thunder roared and lightning flashed, creating a terrifying spectacle.
"Hey, you're coming in strong! Just remember to keep an eye on your sister-in-law; if anything goes wrong, it's on you!"
Zhao Pei jumped back and wrapped his arms around Ouyang Shasha, who was curiously observing the surroundings. He held her as if she were made of porcelain, fragile and ready to shatter at a mere touch.
Lin Yi stood there in shock. Just moments ago, Zhao Pei had seemed ready to fight him to the death, and now he appeared as if they were just chatting casually. He couldn't figure out what was going on.
"Zhao Pei, what exactly do you want?"
"My friend, this is your world. I'm not going to fight you; I can't afford to be laughed at by my wife," Zhao Pei replied lazily, his hands not staying idle as they roamed over Ouyang Shasha.
Lin Yi glanced at the Zombie still trapped within his Thunder Sea and found himself at a loss for what to do. Zhao Pei's behavior was simply too strange!
