The radiant white light enveloped the darkest corners of the world, as if cleansing them like the purest spring water. When Lin Yi found himself completely wrapped in this brilliance, an unprecedented tranquility washed over him. Even the physical pain he had endured seemed insignificant compared to the tremors emanating from the depths of his soul. 0

At that moment, Lin Yi experienced a profound peace within himself; he felt as if he could see every single cell in his body. He observed vibrant energies rapidly converging in one direction, while dark gas surged through him like a terrified creature desperately trying to escape annihilation. 0

However, when the sacred light fully infused Lin Yi's being, the seemingly invincible dark energy found itself with nowhere to flee. In a panic, it rushed toward every part of Lin Yi's body. 0

"Bang! Bang! Bang—" 0

Lin Yi heard faint explosions within him as various energies collided, threatening to reduce him to dust. Yet miraculously, the milky-white light swiftly repaired his damaged cells. But Lin Yi soon realized that those restored cells were no longer powerful; they had become ordinary human cells. 0

Losing something so fundamental was terrifying for anyone, and Lin Yi was engulfed in fear. He had no idea what he would face next and dreaded the feeling of complete loss of autonomy. 0

At that moment, he felt utterly powerless to resist, unable to see anything around him clearly. His once formidable Psychic Power was now unable to penetrate the milky-white light that surrounded him due to the rapid dissipation of energy within. 0

Lin Yi felt like a newborn baby, completely at the mercy of others. Although he had lost his energy, he experienced an unprecedented calmness. The pressure from his former strength was immense, yet he was growing weaker by the moment—so weak that he no longer wished to struggle. 0

Thus, Lin Yi quietly awaited the impending judgment, whether it be life or death. Since he could not control it, he resolved to face whatever came next in the best possible state. 0

Enveloped in sacred light, Lin Yi lost track of time; it felt like an eternity yet also just a fleeting moment. When he sensed the last trace of energy within him vanish and the dark energy was completely purified, the surrounding holy light finally dissipated. 0

As Lin Yi slowly opened his eyes, he found himself gazing at a pale eastern horizon where dawn was beginning to reveal its splendid hues. The orange-yellow glow mingled with wispy white clouds against a deep blue sky dotted with twinkling stars, evoking an unparalleled sense of peace. 0

"A new beginning..." 0

At that moment, an ancient voice filled with ethereal resonance echoed around him. Lin Yi turned his head and saw several figures clad in white robes. In this twilight hour, they appeared like guiding lights in the darkness, radiating warmth akin to spring. 0

However, when Lin Yi laid eyes on the woman at the forefront—her skin as smooth as jade and her face radiant—he was taken aback. Memories flooded back from five years ago of a girl with slightly tanned skin who had always seemed shy around others. 0

But now this girl had grown up; even wrapped in her robe, her graceful figure and vibrant youthfulness were unmistakable. Faced with this seemingly innocent woman who made even the world feel ashamed, no one could harbor any thoughts of disrespect. 0

"Hi, it's been a long time—" Lin Yi stumbled over his words. In truth, it had been nearly two years since they last met. She hadn't even attended his globally publicized wedding. 0

What surprised Lin Yi even more was that Hai had become a member of the clergy and appeared to hold a high position. Standing beside her were two elderly men whose faces bore signs of age but whose eyes sparkled like stars. One of them was familiar to Lin Yi; it was Archbishop Augustus whom he had met in Rome during their confrontation with the Zombie invasion. Behind these three stood several others whom Lin Yi vaguely recognized—they were likely fellow Diviners who had fought alongside him in Rome against the undead threat. 0

“Bishop, now that the mission is complete, can I leave?” 0

To Lin Yi's surprise, although the sea was calm, it was never so indifferent as to completely ignore his presence. What Lin Yi did not see was that when Hai turned to ask Augustus, the corner of her eye twitched slightly, and a mist rose in her pure starry eyes. 0

Augustus glanced at Lin Yi with a blank expression before turning to the others and saying, “The purification is complete; let’s head back.” 0

Before Lin Yi could react, Hai and Augustus turned to leave. At that moment, Lin Yi finally realized and shouted loudly, “You… I… Dracula is the true evil! He is a vampire who wants to rule the entire human world!” 0

However, Lin Yi noticed that they didn’t even turn their heads back and simply vanished into the distance, leaving behind only a few wisps of sound like white clouds. Finally, when Lin Yi understood that they would never turn back again, he despaired and slumped to the ground. 0

“Hehehehe… They know my identity. For countless years, although we have fought against each other, we have never completely torn our masks off. 0

We have long tacitly acknowledged each other's existence. Even though there were times of life and death between us, when facing the invaders of this planet—those disgusting Zombies—we naturally had to unite.” 0

Dracula appeared in front of Lin Yi at some point; he had returned to his Bruh state. However, now he was dressed in a black robe with a lightning emblem embroidered on the chest. The main body of the emblem was blood red, but its edges were stitched with golden thread. Surrounding the lightning emblem was a circular pattern resembling chairs and tables, representing the spirit of the Mercenary Alliance’s Round Table Knights! That golden lightning was the unique symbol of the Judgment Division's Judgment Executor, commonly known as the Black Butler. 0

“You are a Butler of the Judgment Division?” Dracula had once claimed he was just an ordinary Butler. Lin Yi had never believed this at first, but now it seemed that even if he were a Butler, he was no ordinary one. 0

Hearing Lin Yi's words, Dracula displayed a hint of disdain and said, “Indeed, I am the only golden-robed Butler of the Judgment Division. They usually call me Grand Butler; I am also the highest authority in the Judgment Division.” 0

Lin Yi looked at Dracula in his black attire and felt somewhat puzzled. However, he soon understood that what the Judgment Division did was not exactly honorable; thus, Dracula would not wear an eye-catching golden robe but would merely adorn his emblem with a touch of gold. 0

“I see. So how does Mr. Grand Butler plan to judge my crimes?” Lin Yi had slowly begun to adapt to his loss of power; his mindset had become much clearer as he curiously observed his surroundings without worrying about his life or death. 0

The two were now standing in an open plain area; it seemed that Dracula had already relocated from where they were in Dark Space. 0

“To deal with a traitor like you requires a public trial; you will be nailed to the pillar of historical shame,” Dracula said casually. However, waves of shock surged within Lin Yi. 0

Now Lin Yi had become an ordinary person. He thought that his opponent would directly kill him or might even let him go. But he never expected that they still considered him a Zombie and intended to conduct a public trial! 0

“I am not a traitor nor a Zombie! I believe the people's eyes are sharp; your trial will not succeed!” Lin Yi felt that after breaking through to Star Level Ten, the energy within him had been purified. The holy light expelled all dark energy from his body; he knew that the Zombie Virus clinging to his cell surface had also disappeared. 0

“Lies become truth when enough people believe them,” Dracula said with a smirk as an unknown test tube filled with black liquid appeared in his hand. 0

Lin Yi's heart skipped a beat, and he suddenly felt a chill run through him; such a thing was entirely possible. However, he had already done so much work that a considerable number of people no longer believed he was a Zombie. But if the majority came to believe it, even if he wasn't a Zombie, he would still become one! 0

"What do you want to do?" 0

Lin Yi took a few steps back, feeling like a child confronted by a demon, his eyes filled with fear. 0

"You still don't know, do you? After deeply analyzing your cells, we discovered that you can harness the Zombie Virus for your own use. Then we found that the energy within you is the key to utilizing these viruses. That's why Archbishop and the others purified all your energy just now. 0

And now, you are just an ordinary person. This refined Zombie Virus can infect you in just a breath. At that point, you will rot away and appear before the world howling like a beast. Who would believe you are not a Zombie then?" 0

Dracula approached Lin Yi with a hint of mockery. At that moment, Lin Yi was completely immobilized before the powerful Dracula. In the next instant, Lin Yi's mouth involuntarily opened, and the black liquid in Dracula's hand flew into his mouth. 0

A nauseating stench instantly overwhelmed Lin Yi, but he found himself unable to move! 0

"Ugh—" Dracula released Lin Yi, who collapsed to the ground and began to vomit desperately. But Lin Yi noticed that his palms were starting to rot, flesh falling from his face, and his eyes turning blood red. 0

Am I… Corpseified? The thought barely formed when Lin Yi suddenly felt as if he had reconnected with space. In an instant, he concentrated his thoughts and shouted, "No—" 0

When everything settled down, Lin Yi had vanished without a trace… 0
