Feeling the power of the Dark World before him, Lin Yi's hands blurred as two massive energy orbs magically coalesced into two gigantic blades, each several meters long.
The blades were engulfed in a swirling white flame, yet strangely, the tips were formed from a layer of condensed lightning. The blade bodies were made of ice crystals, wrapped in a thin layer that shimmered with a metallic luster, giving the weapons an added sense of hardness.
These bizarre blades were composed of four different elemental energies. The metallic energy was the same that Lin Yi had absorbed when he killed the Vice Chairman of Lion City, who had attempted to inject this metallic liquid into Lin Yi's body just before dying. Instead, Lin Yi had taken advantage of the situation and refined the metallic liquid into his own energy.
However, this was Lin Yi's first attempt at using it. Although he knew he could fuse energies, he was uncertain about what effects would arise from combining such diverse energies.
Suddenly, the originally dark space transformed into a vibrant scene filled with colors. The once lifeless atmosphere seemed to burst with vitality, and everything around sparkled with brilliance.
"Crack—"
This dazzling display lasted only a fleeting moment before Lin Yi heard a crisp sound emanating from the Crimson Energy Blade formed by his various elemental energies.
In an instant, Lin Yi's heart tightened as he realized something was wrong. He immediately discarded the Crimson Energy Blade! The next moment, his figure blurred and vanished!
"Boom—"
Just as Lin Yi disappeared, the spot where the Crimson Energy Blade had been hovering erupted violently as if several powerful bombs had detonated simultaneously. The entire space was engulfed in a wave of destructive energy!
The tremendous shockwave swept through the Dark Space, transforming what was once a dazzling area into chaos.
At that moment, Lin Yi found himself at the farthest point from the explosion. His entire body glowed crimson, with hints of metallic sheen coursing over him!
Just as he moved, all the energy within him had converted into metallic energy, enveloping his body and protecting him from being obliterated by the energy bomb he had unwittingly created!
"That was close—" Lin Yi exhaled lightly, feeling relieved. If he hadn't reacted quickly enough to discard that improperly fused Crimson Energy Blade, even if he survived, he would have been blown to pieces.
"I knew I wasn't mistaken about you. These vastly different energies almost merged under your control! Even if it failed, the power was such that even a Ten-Star Peak warrior caught at the center of the explosion would likely meet their end!"
Dracula's voice echoed through the space with a hint of astonishment. However, Lin Yi still couldn't detect his opponent's presence! Deep down, he resolved to break through to that legendary realm, to experience what it felt like to possess his own world.
After a moment of dazzling brilliance, the light curtain caused by the explosion of those energies finally faded. Yet, this Dark Space seemed completely unaffected; Lin Yi remained unable to tear apart that familiar space.
As Lin Yi pondered where he had gone wrong in that fleeting moment, he recalled how he had previously merged Ice Crystals, Flame Crystals, and Lightning Power. But now, with the addition of a new metallic energy, it had resulted in such a powerful explosion!
Seeing that Lin Yi ignored him, Dracula felt a sense of being underestimated. Over the years, those who had looked down on him had never met a good end!
"Hmph! What a pity. Since you refuse to submit to me, then you might as well die early!"
With a cold snort from Dracula, an invisible arrow seemed to pierce into Lin Yi's mind. The moment he was lost in thought, Lin Yi snapped back to reality!
Suddenly, it felt as if countless sharp spears had appeared around him; Lin Yi felt a tingling sensation all over his body! Then, the previously empty Dark Space suddenly lit up with two palm-sized Scarlet light points!
Before Lin Yi could react to what was happening, the entire Dark Space burst into countless Scarlet light points!
"What is this?" As soon as Lin Yi spoke, a long knife formed from condensed metallic energy appeared in his hand!
"Zhi—"
Accompanied by a sharp howl, a shadow nearly half his height charged toward Lin Yi at lightning speed! Already prepared, Lin Yi quickly discerned what was coming!
It had a pointed mouth, wings as thin as cicada wings, claws capable of tearing through gold and stone, and eyes resembling red lanterns—this was a Giant Bat, about the size of a ten-year-old child!
"Goodness!"
In the rapid development of contemporary humanity, such a giant Bat had long since become extinct. This was the first time Lin Yi had ever seen such a massive Bat!
The eagle hunted rabbits with all its might, and Lin Yi did not underestimate it in the slightest. With a swift movement, the blade in his hand gleamed brightly!

A strange smile crept across Lin Yi's face as his arm twisted at an incredible angle. The blade that was originally pointed downward had now flipped around!
"Thud—" A sound like tearing fabric echoed as the Giant Bat, which had tried to rush past Lin Yi, was suddenly met by the reversed blade, slicing open a long gash starting from its mouth and down along its abdomen!
"Boom—"
Lin Yi had expected the Giant Bat to plummet down, but it suddenly transformed into a cloud of black smoke, merging into the Dark Space around them!
In the next moment, Lin Yi felt a chill run through his entire body!
The air was filled with countless sharp howls that pierced Lin Yi's ears. Despite his strong physique, the sonic assault of the shrieks made his ears throb painfully.
As the howls erupted, the previously scarlet dots around him surged toward Lin Yi, revealing themselves to be Giant Bats, each as large as before!
Lin Yi took a quick glance and realized there were definitely over a thousand of them! More critically, these Bats were formed from condensed energy, unyielding even in death. If this continued, Lin Yi would be drained of energy and perish!
The Giant Bats showed no concern for Lin Yi's thoughts; they had already devoured countless powerful beings before. Upon spotting Lin Yi, their excitement was palpable.
If it weren't for Dracula's control, these bloodthirsty Giant Bats would have charged at him long ago!
"Turn!"
Fearing that the Bats would surround him, Lin Yi swiftly hurled his two Crimson Energy Blades into the fray and began to spin rapidly!
The two whirling blades became Lin Yi's line of defense. The Giant Bats that approached were caught in the blades' rotational force and had no power to resist; in an instant, they were shredded into a mass of black energy!
In the brief moment it took for the Giant Bats to approach, nearly a hundred of them had been cleaved into formless energy by Lin Yi's metallic Energy Blades!
Suddenly, from the darkness emerged two massive hands shrouded in black mist. They reached out and firmly grasped the two Crimson Energy Blades.
Despite Lin Yi's desperate attempts to control them, he could only watch as the blades were crushed into fragments by the black hands, turning into specks of metallic powder that fell into the endless darkness.
With the blades no longer obstructing them, the Giant Bats glided effortlessly toward Lin Yi! Gritting his teeth, he once again condensed a Crimson Energy Blade in his hand.
This time, without hesitation, he gripped the hilt tightly and struck down at an approaching Giant Bat with even greater speed!
Time was running out. With a thought, Lin Yi summoned a flurry of short blades made of ice crystals that shot out in all directions, piercing through the approaching Giant Bats and sending them back into their energy states.
These Giant Bats were all at least at the Seven-Star Level. Even though Lin Yi was powerful, he couldn't withstand their relentless assaults.
In just a moment, Lin Yi felt the abundant energy within him beginning to reach its limits. This shocked him; ever since he had undergone two transformations with the Potential Gene Drug from Wang Kai, his energy levels had significantly increased compared to before. Yet now, it seemed to be depleting so quickly.
Not only was Lin Yi facing continuous attacks from high-level combatants, but he was also contending with the oppressive force of this Dark World, which consumed even more energy than usual.
"Whoa—"
Just as Lin Yi momentarily lost focus, a Bat suddenly lunged forward with its sharp claws, bypassing his defenses and tearing a massive gash in his chest. He could even faintly see his beating heart within!
A wave of excruciating pain surged through Lin Yi, but he couldn't afford to worry about energy consumption anymore. His body crackled with electricity as he unleashed his Lightning Power!
Crackling sounds echoed as the dark energy was eroded by the Lightning Power, causing the nearby Bats to retreat a few steps in shock.
A look of determination crossed Lin Yi's face. In the next moment, he flipped his palm over, revealing a black Energy Crystal that appeared in his hand.
He was all in! Without hesitation, Lin Yi swallowed the Energy Crystal whole. Then he desperately channeled his remaining energy to melt down the crystal within him!
