The Sky Giant sliced through the sky, vanishing into the vast expanse of white clouds. However, it was somewhat strange that two Sky Giants were flying side by side ahead, while a few kilometers away, another transport aircraft seemed to be tailing them.
Standing by the window of the Giant Transporter, Lin Yi gazed at the rushing clouds outside, feeling an unprecedented sense of tranquility. After days of battle, even though Lin Yi's strength had grown immensely, he felt an overwhelming weariness that was not due to fatigue but rather a desire to do nothing at all.

His destination this time was the Nile Defense Zone, the largest defense area on the African continent.
The Sky Giant reached speeds of a thousand kilometers per hour, so it didn't take long to arrive at Cairo International Airport. As a well-known figure, Lin Yi was immediately surrounded by a throng of reporters as soon as he stepped off the aircraft, many of whom he recognized.
It was important to note that flying in an aerial vehicle was quite costly these days; for these people to follow Lin Yi all the way to the Nile Defense Zone was truly reckless.
"Mr. Lin Yi, do you plan to create new miracles during your visit to the Nile Defense Zone?" a curly-haired reporter thrust a microphone toward him, nearly bumping it against his nose.
"Mr. Lin Yi, the greatest threat in the Nile Defense Zone right now comes from those lurking Nile Crocodiles. Are you prepared to endure for the suffering citizens?" Before Lin Yi could respond, another microphone pushed its way into his space.
Although Lin Yi had faced such situations many times before, he still found it difficult to remain calm. Just then, a sudden waft of fragrance enveloped him as Li Qiweng squeezed her way to his side.
"Dear reporters, your Captain Lin, my husband, will certainly do his best. He will help everyone deal with these threats and ultimately earn the title of Mercenary King! However, we hope you can provide him with a quiet environment since we just returned from a fierce battle in the Addis Ababa Defense Zone."
Li Qiweng flashed a sweet smile at everyone. The male reporters were captivated by her beauty and instinctively took a few steps back.
"Who is she?"
"Didn't you hear her call Captain Lin her husband?"
"Oh—no way! How could such a heroic figure get married so casually?" A female reporter exclaimed without thinking about her microphone.
Upon hearing this, Li Qiweng frowned and unleashed her six Star-Level Combat Power aura. The ordinary reporters were unprepared for such pressure and felt unsteady; the loud female reporter turned pale and collapsed onto the ground.
Although everyone had come to understand the terror of High-Level Combat Power, experiencing it firsthand was still hard to believe. Fortunately, the reporters were finally intimidated; Li Qiweng took Lin Yi's hand and dashed away without hesitation.
A few minutes later, another Sky Giant Transporter landed. As the cargo door opened, a young woman in tight-fitting attire appeared at the entrance. Her prominent curves were partially exposed, captivating everyone’s attention.
The reporters were momentarily stunned by this sight before they rushed over as if they had discovered new territory.
A troop of nearly two thousand people arrived here, and naturally, they could not be allowed to move freely. The Mercenary Alliance had stationed offices everywhere and had informed the City Defense Force of the Nile Defense Zone. The person responsible for welcoming them was the head of the Mercenary Alliance office here, accompanied by an official from the City Defense Force.
"Lin Steward, I am Ben, the head of the Alliance stationed in the Nile Defense Zone." A middle-aged man with curly hair approached, warmly embracing Lin Yi.
"Musa, Administrative Official." The dark-skinned official was cold towards Lin Yi, as if Lin Yi owed him a considerable amount of money.
Lin Yi nodded towards the two and said, "I still need to trouble you both. We will be here to assist in eliminating some Zombies."
Ben laughed heartily at Lin Yi's words, "Lin Steward is invincible; a mere Zombie doesn't require a Butler to worry about!"
However, Musa muttered, "Hmph, no matter how powerful he is, can he handle a Nile Crocodile?"
Although Musa's voice was low, Lin Yi heard him clearly but chose not to dwell on it. He was already facing life-threatening situations and wasn't afraid of such criticisms.
"I wonder where our Mercenary team's base is?" Lin Yi asked Musa as if he hadn't heard anything.
"According to our agreement with your Mercenaries, you are stationed in Area One, where there is an available military camp."
Upon hearing Musa's words, Lin Yi showed no reaction, but Ben's expression suddenly changed as he stared at Musa with an unfriendly look, as if trying to uncover some truth.
"This was decided long ago; after all, your equipment is much better than ours. There’s no problem with going to Area One," Musa said, appearing somewhat guilty as his voice grew softer. However, upon seeing the murderous Mercenaries behind Lin Yi, he gritted his teeth and held back.
Although Lin Yi didn't understand what was going on, he guessed that Musa harbored no goodwill towards him. However, as long as he wasn't thrown into a pile of Zombies, there was nothing to fear! Lin Yi reassured himself and gestured for Musa to lead the way.
The convoy was massive, and surprisingly, the vehicles sent to pick up Lin Yi were all old six-wheeled trucks. For a two-thousand-strong team along with their equipment, it took nearly a hundred trucks to transport everything. Meanwhile, Wang Zijun had already arrived; all her transport vehicles were Bulletproof Transport Vehicles capable of carrying one hundred Mercenaries each—far superior to Lin Yi's open-top Transport Vehicle.
Originally, everyone had arrived by eight in the morning, but it wasn't until two in the afternoon that they finally reached their base! This delay was naturally due to insufficient transport vehicles; Musa had "urgently" called over more than twenty trucks to resolve the issue. As for why this happened, Musa hadn't anticipated that Lin Yi's group would have so much equipment!

As Musa led everyone to the military camp, he left immediately. Upon entering the camp, Lin Yi's first impression was not just the rust on the buildings but also an overwhelming stench of blood mixed with a faint odor of decay.
Seeing Lin Yi's serious expression and noticing that Musa had already driven away, Ben spoke up: "Lin Steward, this is something I didn't anticipate; I didn't expect they would assign you to Area One."
"What happened in Area One?" Lin Yi naturally sensed that something was off. This place was clearly an old military camp, yet it was being used by mercenaries, which felt a bit inappropriate.
"Didn't Lin Steward notice how heavy the humidity is here?" Ben intentionally held back some information.
"Yeah, this area should be close to the Nile River, making it one of the few humid places," Lin Yi replied, feeling no dissatisfaction. Previously, in the Addis Ababa Defense Zone, the air was so dry that it felt like they were being baked under the sun.
"This used to be the headquarters of the Arab League. When the Zombie Crisis began to spread, this place was still peaceful. But one night, people saw giant beasts crawling out of the Nile River, and the entire Arab League headquarters was plunged into a sea of blood.
The Security Forces arrived within five minutes after the incident, but there wasn't a single survivor left; not even a limb could be found—only blood soaking the ground. Later, they managed to retrieve footage from a few surviving cameras and discovered that at least three hundred Nile Crocodiles had launched a surprise attack here under the cover of night!"
Lin Yi wasn't present during that incident, so he couldn't fully grasp what had happened. However, he could imagine the scene of those hundreds of giant crocodiles appearing. He himself had experienced a crocodile attack before when he and his group of dozens nearly became food for the reptiles.
"But it's just three hundred crocodiles. There are nearly two thousand mercenaries here, and each mercenary has the capability to take on a crocodile individually. What’s there to fear?" Lin Yi thought differently now; those three hundred crocodiles might seem terrifying to ordinary people, but to him, they were merely easy prey.
