Suddenly, Renesmee, who had been lying on her back in bed, shot upright. Before she could even pull back the curtains, a mouthful of fresh blood sprayed onto her pristine sheets!

Seeing Renesmee's condition deteriorate so rapidly, Nicolas and Tina turned pale with fear and rushed to the edge of the bed. Lin Yi clearly noticed the venomous look in Tina's eyes as she dashed over; that gaze sent a chill down his spine, even though he had faced many dangers before.
To Nicolas and Tina, Renesmee was their pillar of support. Especially for Tina, who called Renesmee "sister," her reliance on Renesmee appeared more like that of a mother to her child from an outsider's perspective.
Lin Yi rubbed his nose, unsure of what to do. He had considered calling Hai to treat Renesmee, but he understood that Renesmee had a dark constitution. The Sea God Technique would not only be useless for her but could potentially cost her life.
"Captain, everything is arranged. What’s our next move?" At some point, Witerson II had arrived at Renesmee's door, followed by Tony and Lulu. Ever since Tony found Lulu, he had been in high spirits, always appearing sweet wherever he went.
Lin Yi looked up at the sweat-drenched Witerson II and felt a wave of relief wash over him. Having a dedicated team was indeed a comforting feeling. After finding his own room earlier, Lin Yi had instructed Witerson II to check on the other team members, and it seemed there were no major issues.
"You all should take a break. By the way, Lulu, can you help take care of Renesmee?" Lin Yi thought about the tasks ahead but felt somewhat anxious without a clear plan.
Lulu immediately released Tony's arm and saluted Lin Yi, saying, "Yes, Captain!" She even winked afterward. It was no wonder Tony was so infatuated with her; Lulu possessed all the advantages of being mixed-race—tall and curvy, sometimes sexy and fiery, other times quirky and playful.

Whether it was due to too many thoughts swirling in his mind or simply because he was in good health and not sleepy, Lin Yi felt like half an hour passed without him falling asleep.
Just as Lin Yi drifted between sleep and wakefulness, he suddenly caught a whiff of a delicate fragrance that jolted him awake.
It was the scent from Li Qiweng! Lin Yi instantly realized this and felt an overwhelming rush of emotion flood through him like water bursting through a dam.
"Wen!" Lin Yi called out before even opening his eyes.
Suddenly, a warm rush blocked his lips. Lin Yi, who had been feeling parched, found his mouth filled with sweetness as an indescribable sense of happiness enveloped him. He slightly parted his lips and eagerly responded to the fiery kiss. He didn’t even want to open his eyes; he feared this might just be a beautiful dream.
In the next moment, the other person tightly wrapped their arms around Lin Yi's waist while he slowly reached out to touch their back. The sensation beneath his fingers was smooth and soft—he realized it was a backless outfit!
As the gentle caress from the other party continued, Lin Yi felt a warm current coursing through his abdomen. His hand, guided by instinct, moved from her back to her perfectly rounded hips, and then wandered into the sparse thicket between her thighs.
“Mmm…” The other person was stirred by Lin Yi's boldness, unable to help but let out soft moans.
Lin Yi's breath grew heavier, and the other party began to breathe more heavily as well. He felt the last shred of clarity in his mind slip away, leaving only an overwhelming desire.

At that moment, an alarm blared outside, followed by a cacophony of noises. Lin Yi felt dizzy and disoriented, completely at a loss for what was happening!
“Zombies are coming!” someone shouted. Lin Yi instantly became fully alert, realizing there was no one left in the room.
Could it have been a dream? Lin Yi instinctively licked his lips, still tasting a hint of sweetness. In the next moment, he furrowed his brow as he sensed an energy wave rapidly retreating from his room.
With a whoosh! Only an afterimage remained in the room; Lin Yi had vanished. The next instant, he found himself at the location where the energy had withdrawn. Two dark-faced men were staring at him with a mix of fear and surprise.
It was the pair of twin vampires! Lin Yi was taken aback; he didn’t understand why they were probing his room since they had never truly interacted before.
“Did you do what just happened?” Lin Yi’s mental power surged forth, creating an invisible pressure that pinned the two men down.
“Hmph! It’s all your fault that Sister Renee got seriously injured!” Lin Yi’s psychic power enveloped them, but they struggled against it fiercely.
“What do you want?” A cold glint flashed in Lin Yi's eyes; he sensed that their abilities bore some resemblance to Jerry's techniques.
“Nothing much; we just created an illusion that closely resembles reality to see if you’re truly insane at your core. But it seems you’re not like that—just a bit…” One of them suddenly wore a rather playful smile.
“Don’t ask for anything else; otherwise, the consequences will be beyond what you can bear!” Lin Yi interrupted him directly and turned to leave; the situation outside was already dire.
Just as Lin Yi was about to leave, he overheard one of the people say, "Hmph, what kind of Captain is this? So easily frightened. As illusionists, we can only make him release his innermost thoughts; we can't see what he truly intends to do."
Lin Yi nearly stumbled and fell at those words. His mental strength was formidable; usually, even when caught off guard, he wouldn't easily fall prey to someone else's illusions. Yet this time, he had unexpectedly found himself trapped in a mirage without any warning. What did that earlier scene mean? Lin Yi touched his lips with his hand, and his fingertips still lingered with a faint fragrance. Could it be that what just happened was real? His heart skipped a beat. It was impossible for all three of them to appear at the same time. Li Qiweng couldn't have left once she arrived, Renesmee was gravely injured and wouldn't be able to move, and as for Ying Sa, she had followed her Bruh away and couldn't have suddenly shown up here.
"Boss, the Zombies are coming! Shouldn't we get out of here?" Flower Cannon burst out from a nearby room, her face flushed and her spirit high, completely unlike the state she had been in just moments ago when she was barely clinging to life from the zombie infection.
They were only a floor away from the peak, so Lin Yi didn't bother asking for details and headed up with Flower Cannon. Although he couldn't figure out the reason behind her sudden recovery, he vaguely felt it had something to do with the Sea God Technique's healing.
When Lin Yi reached the summit, he was taken aback. Under the powerful searchlight, the peak of the opposite mountain was densely packed with Zombies. What used to accommodate a few thousand people was now overflowing with Zombie Beasts and various types of Zombies. Looking down from their elevated position made Lin Yi's scalp tingle; there must be over ten thousand Zombies at this peak.
"Captain Lin, it seems we might not make it through this!" Beatrice's eyes flickered as she gazed into the distance, unsure of what she was seeing. Lin Yi didn't respond but followed her gaze, feeling his mind go blank. Within the searchlight's range, there were not only Zombies at the peak but also many moving around on the mountainside. Upon closer inspection, Lin Yi gasped in shock.
Although they were over twenty meters away from the Zombies on the opposite peak, the two mountains drew closer together as they descended. In fact, the two peaks were like conjoined twins; their bases were connected. At that moment, many Zombies were climbing along a winding path toward the base of the mountain. While it was hard to see clearly at the base, there must be numerous Zombies already surrounding it.
"Look! What are they looking at?" Flower Cannon suddenly exclaimed.
Lin Yi turned to look in her direction and felt his eyelids twitch; these Zombies were actually building a wooden bridge! What they were encountering now was no ordinary Zombie behavior; it resembled human actions far too closely.
"Cough cough! They won't take our Stone Fortress so easily!" A cold voice suddenly echoed from an exit nearby.
