Young people enjoy making half-serious jokes, and most can accept such playful banter. Moreover, this was a joke exchanged between a not-so-good-looking man and a beautiful young girl, so at least the man was quite willing to indulge in it. Even if he once loved his wife dearly, with her no longer by his side, a little reckless abandon wouldn’t be out of place. 0

Lin Yi felt a sweet sensation in his heart upon hearing Lulu's words, but he pretended to be shy and asked, "Well then, where are we now?" As he spoke, he glanced around the super aircraft but saw little. He was currently lying in a room that could barely fit a bed, with only a few people inside; most were outside on their toes, showing concern for Lin Yi. 0

At that moment, Lin Yi noticed Augustus staring at him with a gloomy expression. Instinctively, he averted his gaze, recalling how he had knocked someone out cold not long ago and even drawn their blood. 0

"We're on our way to Milan; we should arrive in about twenty-five minutes!" Lulu answered. Being knowledgeable in nursing, she naturally took care of Lin Yi, even though Tony might not have been pleased about it. 0

"What about Witerson II? And how is Hai doing?" Lin Yi had not had time to check on Witerson II's condition and only knew that Hai had expended considerable effort to save him, but the specifics were unclear. 0

Lulu gestured for the onlookers to step aside, allowing Lin Yi's view to open up. Witerson II was lying in another room while an elderly man with gray hair in a white coat examined him. Others either sat nearby or stood observing the situation. As for Hai, although her face was still somewhat pale, she appeared merely exhausted and not in serious trouble. 0

Lin Yi rubbed his head; everything seemed fine as long as he didn’t think too deeply about it—otherwise, a strong wave of dizziness would hit him. Fortunately, he was no longer in critical condition and could stand up and move around. 0

Knowing that Lin Yi's body was generally robust despite his discomfort, everyone refrained from stopping him. Ying Sa emerged from some corner and seemed a bit shy upon seeing Lin Yi awake. She hesitated nervously among the crowd before finally deciding to approach him. 0

Lin Yi, thick-skinned and aware of the girl's feelings, walked over directly and said, "Ying Sa, thank you so much this time; otherwise, we would have all ended up as zombie food!" 0

"Um, it's nothing; we're all family here!" Ying Sa replied bashfully, her tone somewhat awkward compared to her earlier fiery demeanor, prompting soft laughter from those around them. 0

"And who is this?" Lin Yi asked as he noticed the doctor examining Witerson II and didn’t want to interrupt but turned to Ying Sa instead. 0

"Um, this is Uncle Jemmy, my father's chief private physician!" Ying Sa spoke with evident respect for Jemmy, her tone gentle. 0

Lin Yi made an effort to maintain a smile and slightly bowed as a junior would do. "Thank you very much!" His intention was clearly to express gratitude for Jemmy’s assistance in checking on Witerson II. 0

Jemmy merely nodded and continued scanning Witerson II with a device. The screen displayed various data and graphs continuously; however, Lin Yi couldn’t make much sense of it after glancing at it. When he tried to gauge Jemmy's expression for any clues about Witerson II ’s condition, he found Jemmy’s face utterly impassive—a poker face that remained stiff throughout. 0

Lin Yi wasn’t one to press himself against someone else’s cold demeanor; he could only smile awkwardly before starting to observe the aircraft. He noticed that aside from the room where he had just been lying down, there were several other compartments on the plane. Directly ahead was a sealed door that likely led to the cockpit. Next to the sealed door sat two individuals dressed in satin attire; they felt out of place and were probably sent by Ying Sa's father. Other than them, there were no other outsiders present. 0

They were now positioned at the center of the Cabin, where several lounge chairs and transparent glass tables were arranged together. Witerson II lay on a makeshift table made from several tables pushed together, cushioned by a thick layer of fluffy padding beneath him. The design of the entire aircraft was quite simple, but from what they had seen outside, it was evident that at least half of the aircraft's surface was outfitted with weapons. 0

The device in Jemmy's hands looked sophisticated; it emitted a beam of light that scanned Witerson II from head to toe before shutting off. However, Jemmy's brow furrowed, as if he were still organizing his thoughts or pondering some issue. 0

“Uncle Jemmy, how is it?” Lin Yi asked, noticing the many wrinkles on Jemmy's face and mimicking Ying Sa by calling him "uncle." 0

Yet, Lin Yi's use of "uncle" did not change Jemmy's demeanor; he remained frowning and silent. 0

“Uncle, what happened to my friend?” Ying Sa was anxious now, reaching out to grab Jemmy's arm and shaking it in a manner that resembled a girl being coy. 0

Jemmy took a deep breath before slowly saying, “Your friend's metabolism is much faster than that of an average person, so his recovery ability is quite good. Moreover, there is a gentle energy flowing through his wounds that is continuously healing them. As long as he takes care of himself, he should be fine!” 0

“Oh, that's good!” Ying Sa clearly missed Jemmy's deeper meaning; she only understood that since Witerson II was not in serious trouble, there was no need to ask further questions. 0

Lin Yi quickly processed Jemmy's words in his mind. He wasn't sure why Witerson II's recovery ability was faster than normal, but that energy was clearly related to the sea. Thinking this, he glanced at the sea; the girl who had experienced so much at just twenty seemed to be enveloped by something that made it difficult to see her clearly. 0

The plane flew swiftly; in no time at all, they had already covered more than half the distance. Lin Yi knew everyone was tired and didn't want to dwell on anything further, so he signaled for everyone to rest. 0

“Mr. Lin Yi, are you planning to kidnap me to Milan? You do realize that abducting an Archbishop isn't exactly a noble act!” Before Lin Yi could settle in, Augustus approached him with an icy tone. 0

“Bishop, please don't misunderstand; I have no intention of truly kidnapping you. You sacrificed yourself for me to eliminate the Intelligent Zombie and nearly got me blown up. If I hadn't run fast enough, I wouldn't even have the chance to talk to you here!” Lin Yi waved his hand; he had almost forgotten about Augustus's situation. 0

“What do you plan to do then?” Given his age, Augustus appeared somewhat weary from being disturbed at such an hour. 0

“Ying Sa, how about we turn back and take His Excellency the Archbishop home first?” Lin Yi said helplessly as he sought Ying Sa's assistance. 0

Forty minutes later, Lin Yi and his companions finally arrived in Milan. However, the plane had landed directly at a private location, where several aircraft were parked, including a large passenger plane that had been converted for other uses. Not far from the airport, a straight highway led to an ancient castle hidden among layers of trees. Under the streetlights, the castle appeared somewhat medieval in its shadowy outline. 0

Lin Yi couldn't help but marvel at Ying Sa's family's wealth; the area within at least a five-kilometer radius belonged to them. It made him wonder just how much financial power it took to achieve such a scale! 0

As soon as they got out of the car, a business vehicle and a minibus approached. Ying Sa, looking somewhat displeased, got into the car guided by two elegantly dressed individuals. Meanwhile, Lin Yi and his group had no choice but to board the minibus, which looked quite formidable and seemed capable of handling any tough encounters. 0

Three minutes later, they finally reached the front of the castle. As Lin Yi stepped out of the vehicle, he was enveloped by a sense of ancient history that felt almost overwhelming; it was as if he had walked into a kingdom from a fairy tale. Surrounded by towering mountains and unfamiliar ancient trees, everything here felt disconnected from modern civilization. To his surprise, there was even a moat surrounding the castle's entrance, and as he approached, he noticed several large creatures swimming in the water. Instantly, an eerie feeling crept up his spine. 0

The castle doors were already open, and across the moat, a dark wooden bridge extended toward them, presumably for their passage. 0

The two vehicles entered one after another; however, as soon as Lin Yi's vehicle entered the castle grounds, it came to a halt while Ying Sa's vehicle continued deeper into the castle. 0

As soon as the doors opened, a middle-aged man in a tuxedo stood at the entrance and bowed to indicate they should disembark. Once everyone was out of the vehicle, the tuxedo-clad man guided them toward a row of buildings. Lin Yi observed the castle and realized it was even larger than he had imagined; they were still only in the outer area, which itself covered a vast expanse. Various flowers and trees filled this space, with many low buildings hidden among them. After navigating through layers of greenery, they arrived beside a relatively larger house. 0

"Hello, I am the steward here. Welcome to Sister Ying's friends visiting. This is your prepared room; I hope you will like it." 0

The steward was polite but clearly maintained a cold demeanor; it was evident that if not for Ying Sa's influence, their situation would have been even more precarious. 0
