The young always have a fiery spirit, and Lin Yi was no exception, for his youth was still alive within him. Just as he witnessed the Bald Man pressing a knife against the neck of the Mixed-Race Woman, a surge of anger ignited within him, growing stronger by the moment.
At that moment, Tony had already collapsed. The others who had initially left had no choice but to return and lift Tony up. However, this time he stubbornly refused to leave, his eyes fixed on the Mixed-Race Woman, filled with concern. Upon seeing Tony's expression, the woman couldn't help but gasp, her face contorting in surprise. After staring blankly at him for a few seconds, she spoke with a quivering voice, "Thank you!"
Although Lin Yi was seething with anger, he managed to grasp the situation. Since things had escalated to this point, he knew he could not simply walk away.
"Let her go, and we will leave immediately!" Lin Yi stared at the Bald Man, his tone steady as if he were stating something utterly ordinary.
The Bald Man looked at Lin Yi with some surprise but did not respond. Instead, he turned to Scorpion and said, "How many years has it been? Scorpion, how long has it been since anyone dared to speak to me like this? If I hadn't come here today, I might never have encountered such a situation." With that, the Bald Man began to laugh heartily, while Scorpion, seeing his boss so amused, forced a chuckle in response.
"I'm not being arrogant; I just don't like people like you!" Lin Yi watched as the Bald Man on the second-floor railing began to warm up. He needed to make it clear to the bald man that he had messed with the wrong person this time.
"Hahaha! Alright, young man, then let me show you what a bad person is!" After laughing a few times, the Bald Man signaled for several of his men to teach Lin Yi a lesson. He hadn’t witnessed Lin Yi’s earlier display of power but was absolutely confident that no matter how skilled this young man was, he would not stand a chance against his personal bodyguards.
To demonstrate their strength, four of the Bald Man's bodyguards leaped over the railing from the second floor in a fluid motion without any hesitation. The four burly men landed simultaneously like Polar Bears, causing the marble floor to vibrate with a resounding thud.
"Scorpion, when dealing with young people like him, you can't hold back; otherwise, he'll ride right over you!" The Bald Man clearly believed that Scorpion's earlier leniency had allowed Lin Yi and his friends to gain an advantage.
Scorpion wore an awkward expression; he hadn’t held back at all and had come at Lin Yi with heavy firepower. Yet now faced with such an abnormal opponent, he couldn't believe what had just happened.
"It's not my fault, boss! I... he..." Scorpion struggled to find the right words; after all, even having witnessed it firsthand made it hard to believe.
The Bald Man waved his hand dismissively, cutting off Scorpion: "Alright, alright! If you made a mistake, don’t make excuses!"
At this moment, the four giants had formed a tight encirclement around Lin Yi, who was not particularly tall to begin with. He felt as if he had stepped into a den of wolves—specifically one with four massive wolves.
"Just give him a good beating; remember to ask his parents for medical expenses for our injured brothers," the Bald Man waved his hand again, signaling for the giants to take action.
However, before the words of the Bald Man could finish echoing in the hall, Lin Yi transformed into a rapidly spinning shadow. The four burly giants were sent flying as if they had lost all weight. The entire process lasted only a brief second, and the smug expression on the Bald Man's face didn't even have time to turn into astonishment.
"Boss, he... he's really impressive!" Scorpion finally managed to articulate his thoughts. Lin Yi was indeed formidable, but he was already beyond human capability.
"How is that possible? Those four are the finest elite Special Forces. Although they have been retired for several years, they shouldn't be taken down so quickly!" The Bald Man's mental fortitude was considerably better than Scorpion's; despite witnessing such a shocking scene, he remained relatively calm.
He had his trump card. He controlled over half of the industries in this area, which meant he held more than half of the profits from the Paris Red-Light District—a terrifying figure. "Then I will break it," Lin Yi said, staring at the Bald Man without hesitation. He could already hear sirens approaching in the distance. While he was confident that he wouldn't encounter any problems, going against the police would still be extremely troublesome.
Before his words faded, Lin Yi leaped into the air as if an invisible staircase were lifting him up. In just a few steps in mid-air, he charged toward the second floor where the Bald Man stood.
The Bald Man's eyes widened in disbelief as if witnessing a miracle, and he instinctively began to retreat. Whether out of fear or intention, the knife he had pressed against the Mixed-Race Woman's neck had already drawn a long gash across her skin, blood pouring out uncontrollably.

The sudden rush of adrenaline startled Lin Yi as well; he realized he could control the Bald Man's movements just like Douglas could manipulate throwing knives with Psychic Power—he could easily control another person's body. To confirm his thoughts, Lin Yi concentrated and lifted the Bald Man off the ground as if something were holding him up.
"Help! Help!" Even someone as worldly as the Bald Man was terrified beyond belief; this defied all principles of physics and was something he couldn't accept.
Lin Yi ignored the Bald Man's cries for help and suspended him in mid-air. Meanwhile, Lulu, the Mixed-Race Woman who had been taken hostage earlier, collapsed onto the ground without the Bald Man's support, her eyes filled with fear and anxiety.
In just a few minutes, those present witnessed one miracle after another. The man who created these miracles was controlling the body of the Bald Man in mid-air, spinning him around like a child playing with a beloved toy. At that moment, Lin Yi realized something extraordinary about his own body. He had not taken the Potential Gene Drug, yet his combat power had reached a terrifying level, and he possessed the rare Psychic Power! All of this made him secretly delighted; he had always wanted to be a hero, and now he finally had the ability to be one, though it seemed to have come a bit late.
Outside, the sound of sirens grew increasingly urgent. Lin Yi wasted no time and withdrew the Psychic Power surrounding the Bald Man, letting him crash heavily to the ground. Then, Lin Yi dashed like lightning to Lulu's side, scooped her up, and jumped directly from the second floor.
At that moment, Lulu was already stunned into silence by Lin Yi's series of "miracles."
Seeing that Lin Yi had saved Lulu, Tony didn't even have time to thank him before Lin Yi appeared before him like a gust of wind. Witerson II had been following closely behind and hurriedly urged Tony to leave.
The night was deepening, and everyone moved quickly. The car had already traveled several dozen meters when the police arrived, allowing them to speed out of Paris City during that brief moment.
On the way, aside from Tony's constant stream of awkward comments, no one spoke; either Lin Yi hadn't said anything yet or they simply didn't know what to say.
In the dormitory, there were some everyday antiseptic and anti-inflammatory medications. With everyone's help, Aik bandaged both Tony and Lulu. Initially, everyone suggested that Tony go to the hospital for a check-up, but he insisted on not going, so they did not press further.
After taking some medication, Tony and Lulu went to bed early. Lin Yi had no bed available and could only wander around the makeshift courtyard in frustration while waiting for Pachy to resolve his accommodation issue. He refused the bed offered by members of the Mercenary team, so everyone else just rested first.
Perhaps due to genuine fatigue, Lin Yi eventually fell asleep sitting at the door. In that half-asleep state, he was suddenly jolted awake by a series of continuous loud noises around him.
The dark night sky was now illuminated by several flames shooting up into the air, casting a crimson hue over everything. Accompanying this blood-red sky were cries echoing all around.
