“Xin Rui, just think it over yourself; I won't interfere with anything you decide.” Markett smiled gently and began to focus on his own tasks.
“Xin Rui, what should I do? Why do I feel so lost now? Is it because these years have dulled my edges?” Xin Rui silently questioned herself.

I was unwilling to accept this; I knew that Markett had a technique that could allow me to contend with those Mechanical Soldiers. So, I sought out Markett the Sage and expressed my intentions, but he refused. However, I didn't give up easily. Eventually, Markett the Sage agreed, and to both our surprise, I successfully fused with the first generation Mechanical Warrior, Crimson Face. In the end, I destroyed those Mechanical Soldiers that were disturbing the town's peace. But soon after, a new batch of Mechanical Soldiers arrived, and not only were my family killed, but several townsfolk also perished.
“That time, I was furious—truly furious. I relentlessly pursued those Mechanical Soldiers, but later the Mechanical Security Chief unjustly labeled me as a number one threat and ordered my capture. My anger intensified; those Mechanical Guards sent to apprehend me were all destroyed by me. Ultimately, they coerced Markett the Sage into creating another Mechanical Warrior specifically designed to capture me. That time, I failed; I separated from Crimson Face and was taken away by the Mechanical Guards. The Sage intended to defend me, but he couldn't find any opportunity.
“It was only afterward that I learned everything was part of Nai's scheme. I wanted revenge, but I had no chance and could only remain inside. Twenty years—almost twenty years. Ha ha.” As Xin Rui thought about it, she began to laugh.
Xin Rui stood up and walked towards Markett's position. However, at that moment, she had shed her earlier hesitation; all that remained was a sense of indifference and an air of dominance.
“Sage.”
Upon hearing Xin Rui's voice, Markett turned around and looked at her. “What is it? Have you made up your mind?”
“I have made up my mind,” Xin Rui nodded and said. “I want to wipe out the remaining forces of Nai.”
“Good.” Markett nodded in satisfaction. “Once you complete this mission, you'll be able to truly enjoy life as you wish.”
“Thank you, Sage.” Xin Rui bowed slightly to Markett.
“Alright, follow me.” Markett led the way ahead. After passing through a heavy door, he brought Xin Rui to the most secure area of the Technology Room. In the center of this room stood a cylindrical glass container holding something inside; however, its contents were concealed by Markett’s magic. Once the contents were fully revealed, Xin Rui immediately felt a chill.
“Come here, Xin Rui.” Markett opened the cylindrical glass and waved her over.
“Sage, what is this?” Xin Rui asked.
“Xin Rui, this is a Mechanical Warrior I've prepared for you; her name is Ice Cold, Slayer of Traitors.”
“Ice Cold, Slayer of Traitors,” Xin Rui whispered as she gazed at Ice Cold with shining eyes.
“Xin Rui, Ice Cold will belong to you from now on.” Markett carefully took Ice Cold out and placed her on the tech platform.
“Sage, is it still like before?” Xin Rui inquired.
“No need for such trouble; just lie down on it directly. I'll handle the rest.”
"Yes."
Since Xin Rui had previously fused with the Mechanical Warrior, this time the fusion went particularly smoothly. It hardly took any time for Xin Rui and the Ice Element to merge.
"Xin Rui, it's time to try it out," Markett said. As soon as he finished speaking, Xin Rui transformed into the Ice Element form. Looking at his body, he waved his hand, and an invisible force spread out in all directions. "What incredible power!" Xin Rui marveled at his right hand.
"How does it feel, Xin Rui?" Markett asked with a smile.
"It's amazing, even stronger than Crimson Face."
"Of course! You can challenge Crimson Face when the time comes. And that girl who fused with Crimson Face is also by Star Maiden Adela's side."
"I understand."
"Alright." Markett pulled up a Virtual Screen. "I'm establishing a connection with you here. At the same time, I'll send you the route of the Noel Battleship. Just follow it."
"Okay."
Not long after, Markett paused his actions and looked at Xin Rui. "Did you receive everything?"
After checking, Xin Rui replied, "I received everything, and it's all very detailed."
"Of course. Now, Xin Rui, get ready to head out." Just then, a battleship of a unique design slowly approached the two.
"Sage, what is this?" Xin Rui asked, surprised yet excited.
"It's for you," Markett said casually, but for Xin Rui, this was undoubtedly a huge surprise. "Thank you so much, Sage."
"No need to thank me; I just want those kids to have some good training. Now go ahead and pilot it."
"Understood." Xin Rui nodded eagerly and opened the battleship's door.
At noon, Aitak returned and summoned Markett to his study.
Aitak sat in a chair, looking at Markett and asked, "Sage, let's discuss this matter."
"What matter?" Markett feigned ignorance as he inquired.
Aitak smiled and said, "Alright, Sage, I won't make a fuss. But don't think you can hide anything from me. I refuse to believe you wouldn't know when the Noel Battleship took off. And you deliberately let those girls go, didn't you?"
"Hahaha..." Markett laughed. "As expected of the Star Master, I knew you wouldn't be so easily deceived."
"Now tell me, what exactly is your reason for this? If anything happens to my daughter, you'll get a taste of my wrath," Aitak threatened.
"First, if they didn't go out for a while, there would always be a knot in their hearts. Rather than that, it's better to let them be disappointed and return on their own. Second, there are still remnants of Nai's forces in the universe. If possible, let Luo Mengqi handle it."
"Hey, you’re not sending my daughter into danger, are you?"
