“Welcome back, Qiong,” said Noel Battleship, extending his massive palm.
“Hello, I’m Sima Chuan.”
“From now on, we are partners.” Noel Battleship and Sima Chuan exchanged a fist bump.
“Alright, shouldn’t we head back?” Qiong glanced at the time.
“Let’s go, but I’ll activate the cloaking feature first.” In no time, Noel vanished from Sima Chuan’s sight, only to reappear moments later.
“Let’s go!” Qiong said as she flew back with Sima Chuan and Noel Battleship.
Noel Battleship’s cloaking ability allowed him to blend seamlessly into the air, undetectable by any means; only Qiong and Sima Chuan could see him.
Upon arriving at Liu Manor, Sima Chuan instructed Noel Battleship to hover above the manor. This not only provided excellent concealment but also enhanced their vigilance.
While the second Sima Chuan was still resting, Liu Feng and the others had already begun knocking on the ‘door.’
“Sima Chuan, get up!”
“Alright, I’m getting up!” Sima Chuan sighed and started getting dressed. As soon as he opened the ‘door,’ Liu Feng and the others rushed in.
“Sima Chuan, you’re not just waking up now, are you?” Liu Feng casually found a spot to sit.
As Sima Chuan washed up, he replied, “Yeah, just woke up.”
“Chuan, when are we going to find Battleship?” Liu Chuan opened the window and looked at Sima Chuan.
“No need to look for him; Battleship is right here at Liu Manor.” Sima Chuan delivered an unexpected piece of news.
"What?"
"Is it really at Liu Manor?"
"Sima Chuan, you’re not lying to us, are you?"
Sima Chuan washed his face and looked at Liu Chuan and the others. "The Noel Battleship is at Liu Manor."
"Really?"
"It can't be that coincidental, right?"
Sima Chuan smiled but didn't say anything. Shang Qiong stepped in front of Sima Chuan and asked, "Chuan, are you really going to leave?"
"Yes, I am."
"When are you leaving?"
"Pretty soon!"
"So fast? Can you stay a little longer?"
Sima Chuan shook his head with a smile. "Don't worry! I'll be back as soon as I can."
"Okay." Shang Qiong wanted to say something else, but the words wouldn't come out.
"Alright, let's go!" Sima Chuan was the first to step out of the room.
At that moment, Sima Chuan received a message from the Noel Battleship: "Spatial anomaly detected, nearby wormhole space has been opened, hiding the Mechanical Legion within."
"Have you contacted Qiong?" Sima Chuan asked in his mind.
"Already contacted."
"Good, I'm on my way." Sima Chuan turned to Liu Chuan and the others, shouting, "Liu Chuan, come with me."
"Where are we going?"
"To Qiong."
Certain Universe Peace Base.
"Director, a spatial anomaly has been detected," Zhang Dexin reported to Lei Chuan Sheng from the side.
"Location?"
"Liu Manor of Fucheng."
"Liu Manor?" Lei Chuan Sheng was somewhat surprised.
"Yes."
"Zhang Dexin, what’s the response from above regarding the last incident?" Lei Chuan Sheng asked again.
"Director, the response from above was 'It's been quite unsettled lately.'"
“Is it getting unstable lately?” Lei Chuan Sheng murmured. Then he recalled the incident with that boy and the alien invasion. Could it be true? Or was something about to happen?
Lei Chuan Sheng slammed his fist on the table and stood up. “Zhang Dexin, gather some people and come with me to Liu Manor.”
“Yes.”
Sima Chuan approached Qiong and asked, “You all know, right?”
“We know.”
Sima Chuan looked around. Liu Bin, Liu Ying, Liu Chuan, and the six of them were present—Hong Chen and Geng Qing too. They were all there, but these were the very people he was worried about. So, in front of them, Sima Chuan transformed into his Akapa form.
“Chuan, what are you doing?” Qiong didn’t understand why Sima Chuan suddenly changed.
Liu Chuan and the others showed no surprise, only confusion. Luo Mengqi, Yiling, and Lai Liqing shared the same puzzled expression regarding Sima Chuan’s actions.
Only Liu Bin, Liu Ying, Hong Chen, and Geng Qing were shocked and bewildered. Was Sima Chuan even human?
Sima Chuan knelt before Liu Bin. “Master, I have something to tell you. I am human, but I am special. I didn’t tell you because I didn’t want to involve you. Please don’t blame me. I can’t train with you anymore; I have more important things to accomplish.”
Hearing Sima Chuan’s words brought Liu Bin back from his shock. He quickly helped Sima Chuan up. “Alright, child, I’m not blaming you; I was just too shocked.”
“Thank you, Master. Now you should take Liu Chuan and the others away! Liu Manor is already surrounded; they are coming for me. If you leave now, there’s still time.”
Before Sima Chuan could finish, Liu Bin gave him a firm knock on the head. “What are you talking about? You are my disciple; I won’t allow anyone to harm you. So don’t think about sending me away. And your brothers and sisters aren’t going anywhere either.”
“Don’t worry; we won’t leave,” Liu Chuan and the others said in unison.
"We're not leaving either," Hong Chen and Geng Qing quickly declared.
"But..." Sima Chuan seemed a bit anxious.
"Leave it to us!" At that moment, a group of people stood in the yard, some scattered about. At the forefront was a robust middle-aged man.
"Director Lei, I thought you didn't believe it," Sima Chuan said, gradually returning to his original form upon seeing the middle-aged man.
Lei Chuan Sheng chuckled, "At first, I was skeptical, but after seeing you, I believe it more than half."
"You just need to protect my master and the others with your thirteen subordinates."
"What are you? On what grounds do you command us?" A handsome young man on Lei Chuan Sheng's right pointed at Sima Chuan defiantly.
"You can try," Sima Chuan replied with a slight smile.
"Arrogant." The young man swung a palm toward Sima Chuan, but nothing happened.
"How is that possible?" The young man was shocked. The power of Destruction he wielded could not even be contained by this island, yet this youth remained unscathed—not even a ripple was produced.
Not only was the young man astonished, but even Lei Chuan Sheng was taken aback. The people he brought were not ordinary humans; they possessed supernatural powers! Initially, he intended to stop the one called Destruction, but before he could speak, Destruction had already struck. However, the result was far from what he had imagined.
"If you want to test me, then come at me all at once. I don't have time to play with you," Sima Chuan said lightly. To them, it sounded like a blatant provocation. They no longer cared about anything else and prepared to attack together, except for one person who remained still. It was a woman who appeared quite young; she looked somewhat cute and a bit foolish at first glance.
Their attacks had come to a halt because no matter how they struck, Sima Chuan continued to stand there leisurely.
Seeing them stop, Sima Chuan walked up to the woman who remained in place and softly asked, "What’s your name?"
"Ah? I, I am called Ice Snow," the girl said softly, lowering her head.
"Nice name, but is your Defense Power really that strong?"
"What?" Ice Snow looked up at Sima Chuan with confusion.
"I mean, release all of your Defense Power."
"Um?"
"Child, don't be too arrogant; Ice Snow's defense is not something you can break." A tall girl stepped forward.
"We'll find out if he can," Sima Chuan replied, looking back at Ice Snow.
"Let him try!" Lei Chuan Sheng waved his hand lightly.
"Hmph!" The girl snorted coldly, looking at Sima Chuan with disdain. The others shared similar expressions.
Meanwhile, Lai Liqing and the others exchanged smiles, thinking to themselves, "Let's watch the show!"
Upon hearing that the Director also agreed, Ice Snow decided to release all her Defense Power. Circular patterns appeared around her body. Sima Chuan reached out and flicked his fingers lightly; all those circular patterns vanished, and Ice Snow was sent flying several meters away, injured quite badly.
