As he continued downward, he noticed more remnants left by the Anzhela Swarm, including corpses of Anzhela Venom Bees on the ground. It was clear that the previous Dog-headed Wasp had indeed been a formidable enemy of the Anzhela Venom Bees!
When Lin Yuan reached the bottom level, he finally discovered something that thrilled him immensely: there were three massive Anzhela Venom Bee Honeycombs here! Unfortunately, they were all damaged. For a moment, he felt as if he had hit a jackpot worth five million in his past life.

He waited patiently until evening when Lin Yuan finally spotted a Dog-headed Wasp returning from the south direction through his Second Audio-Visual Radar's Three-Dimensional Projection image. However, this particular Dog-headed Wasp shocked him greatly because its head was even larger than before—the one he had killed earlier had a head the size of a basin, but this one was as big as a water tank. Its powerful mechanical wings made it look robust; it was hard to tell whether it was male or female.
What astonished Lin Yuan even more was that this Dog-headed Wasp was carrying back a human corpse—this was actually the first human he had encountered since waking up in this world, albeit it was just a dead body.
Yet Lin Yuan felt excited nonetheless; an absurd thought crossed his mind about snatching away this deceased fellow creature's body. This wasn't out of sympathy but sheer curiosity—what would humans look like thousands of years later?
Before Lin Yuan could put his plan into action, a Dog-headed Wasp had already noticed its companion being killed. In an instant, it became furious, abandoning the human corpse and began to frantically circle around the entire building.
While Lin Yuan hesitated on whether to engage in battle, the Dog-headed Wasp was already flying rapidly towards his position. Clearly, after its mutation, this Dog-headed Wasp had a sense of smell more acute than that of a dog.

Unfortunately, the blue energy shield of the Dog-headed Wasp was even more formidable, causing no damage whatsoever.
However, this action only served to further infuriate the Dog-headed Wasp, which buzzed angrily and continued its pursuit as Lin Yuan kept heading north.
For some unknown reason, whenever the Dog-headed Wasp chased beyond three hundred kilometers, regardless of how angry it became, it would immediately turn back. No amount of provocation from Lin Yuan seemed to work.

After all, his mounted machine gun did not deal as much damage as his Sniper Rifle. It would be better to wait until his Health Points were fully restored before making any further plans!
With this thought in mind, Lin Yuan decided to stop provoking the Dog-headed Wasp. He pulled back on the control stick, and Mouse One executed a stunning one hundred eighty-degree flip in mid-air, changing direction at high speed. It was thrilling and gave him a sense of accomplishment; after all, he had never even passed a driving test in his previous life—how could he not feel proud?
Just as Lin Yuan controlled Mouse One for that impressive flip, three fiery projectiles resembling rockets shot up from somewhere on the ground and whizzed past Mouse One's tail. In mid-air, he made Mouse One perform a seven hundred twenty-degree roll because those three rocket-like projectiles were curving back around for another attack. Thanks to Lin Yuan's high Intelligence Level and exceptional Civic Induction Transmission Rate, both his Main Audio-Visual Radar and Second Audio-Visual Radar were fully activated in an instant, allowing him to grasp all elements involved!
First, he spotted a concealed aircraft among some ruins on the ground where several armored figures were operating strange launch devices. It seemed this was no coincidence; they had been targeting him all along and had set up an ambush along his route back to the Sub-base.
Cursing inwardly, Lin Yuan remained vigilant. These humans must be the rebels from the Gatekeeper's faction. Great, now his Anzhela Venom Bee Breeding Base was likely under threat. Damn it, they were cutting off his source of income!
A flurry of thoughts raced through his mind, and Lin Yuan's anger surged. What had he done to deserve this? He was a pacifist! How could they ambush him like this?
Fortunately, his anger did not affect his control over the aircraft. After a series of rapid and thrilling evasive maneuvers, he increased Mouse One's speed to one thousand kilometers per hour. Then, executing a one hundred eighty-degree flip in mid-air, he locked onto the group of humans and charged back at them, unleashing a barrage from the mounted heavy machine gun!

The intense maneuvering caused Mouse One's entire frame to creak and groan as the engine began to wail!
