Su Ruolan slowly stopped her dancing, and at that moment, all eyes in the venue were focused on the two of them. 0

"Goddess, I think this guy is pretty good; you two could make a great pair!" The enthusiastic people from the Yan Tribe began to cheer for Qin Zhi Han. 0

"Exactly, you both are a match made in heaven!" 0

"Get together, get together!" The people from the Huaxia Four Corps also started to join in the fun. 0

Although Qin Zhi Han remained calm, a blush began to creep into his left ear. He gazed eagerly at Su Ruolan, but when he noticed her expression shift from happiness to unease and hesitation, he sensitively realized something was off. He quickly interjected, "Just kidding! Did I scare you?" 0

The others, seeing the young man joking around, didn’t take it seriously and continued dancing, drinking, and feasting. 0

Through the bright flames of the bonfire, Su Ruolan looked at Qin Zhi Han with an unusually sincere gaze and clearly stated, "I'm sorry, I have a husband." 0

If the world after losing hearing was one of silence, then Qin Zhi Han deeply felt what it meant to be void. When the words "I'm sorry, I have a husband" floated lightly into his ears, he distinctly heard the sound of his heart sinking. It felt as if he were in a vacuum; his entire being froze, his hands and feet turned cold. He thought he had been suffocating for a long time, but in reality, only a moment had passed. Forcing a smile, he stammered slightly, "Is that so? You don't look like it. Married quite early, huh? That's good... congratulations." 0

At that moment, a song ended, and Qin Zhi Han looked towards Bai Zhen in the distance. He said to Su Ruolan, "Bai Zhen called me; it seems urgent. I'll go check it out. You enjoy yourself." Without waiting for Su Ruolan's response, he left awkwardly. 0

Su Ruolan was somewhat oblivious; although she sensed something was off with Qin Zhi Han's demeanor, she didn't dwell on it too much. She merely felt a bit regretful that such a good person was still single; he should have been married long ago. 0

Qin Zhi Han approached Bai Zhen and exchanged a few casual words before walking away alone. Quietly returning to his tent, he felt a deep pain in his heart. He had thought he simply liked Su Ruolan and was willing to wait for her and accompany her. However, when feelings were put into words, he realized that his feelings for her were far beyond mere affection; he was in love with her. Love arose from nowhere and grew deep within him as memories of her slightly shy yet resolute words echoed in his mind: "I'm sorry, I have a husband." It was like a nightmare that reverberated repeatedly, torturing his heart over and over again. 0

Qin Zhi Han couldn't help but pick up the wine jug, which he had just taken from Bai Zhen. He tilted it to his mouth and gulped down a large swig. The wine from the Yan Tribe was rich and strong; with one swallow, it burned all the way down his throat to his stomach, fierce and fiery. It felt as if every pore in his body opened up, and beads of sweat began to pour out. Sweat trickled down the side of Qin Zhi Han's face, flowing past his eyes, carrying away a drop that could have been either a tear or sweat. "Life is meant to be enjoyed to the fullest, not letting the golden cup face the moon empty. Qin Zhi Han, what does a man have to fear without a wife?" he mused. With his low tolerance for alcohol, drinking on an empty stomach led him straight to drunkenness. 0

Under the bright starry sky, Su Ruolan leaned against the window sill, quietly reflecting on the past. Rose seemed to have been born on such a moonlit night. She remembered enduring three long nights of pain, thinking she might not survive childbirth, but finally bringing that mischievous girl into the world. After enduring countless hardships, she had raised that soft and adorable child. Watching her smile, hearing her call "Mama," seeing her learn to walk unsteadily—where was she now? Was she still alive? Did she know how much her mother cared for her? 0

This night was destined to bring joy to many, disappointment to others, while countless more continued in ignorance and futility. 0
