In order to evade Qin Shi Huang, Liu Daoxiong abandoned everything and fabricated a story about falling off a cliff while searching for medicine.

Ying Ziying was known for his kindness and had long admired Liu Daoxiong, whose sincerity moved him deeply.
Liu Daoxiong utilized all his knowledge to create an illusion of Ying Ziying being killed by Xiang Yu. After Ying Ziying's death, Liu Daoxiong buried the True Dragon Qi and the dragon's remains within Ying Ziying's tomb.
This True Dragon Qi could open the Time-Space Gate and alter past events.
After finishing his tale, my father returned to his room, leaving me alone by the seaside to ponder. His story felt like a fantastical night tale to me.
What true dragon? Opening the Time-Space Gate? Such things existed only on television; how could they possibly occur in reality?
A massive shadow blocked out the evening glow, enveloping me in its midst.
He slowly came to sit beside me, and as soon as I caught his scent, I knew who the Intruder was.
"You already know," he said.
I nodded. "Yes, but I don't believe it."
"No one knows the truth."
"Then why did you go?" I almost blurted out. After realizing my words, I regretted it. The harmonious atmosphere we had worked so hard to create was at risk of being shattered by my single statement.
The longer the silence stretched, the more uneasy I felt inside.
I sat stiffly, afraid to move.
Until he finally spoke.
"I was reborn solely to make amends for something."
With that, he left.
Mu Xuanche had just told me that he was reborn to rectify something, to open the door of time and space to make it right.
What could be so significant that it compelled Mu Xuanche to go to such lengths?
There was also the Cult of Spirits. Were they also after the True Dragon Qi? What would they do if they obtained it?
If the answer is beyond comprehension, then there's no need to ponder it. I stood up and returned to the wooden cabin.
Upon reaching the cabin, I found it shrouded in darkness.
As I reached out to turn on the light, a hand suddenly emerged from the shadows.
Moments later, I found myself enveloped in a gentle embrace. That familiar scent made it clear who it was without needing to think.
I opened my mouth to ask what he was doing, but instead, I was met with a warm kiss that landed directly on my lips.
What started as a light peck quickly turned into something more passionate after I let out a soft gasp.
His lips pressed firmly against mine, biting and teasing repeatedly.
His heated breath slowly traced over my cheek and down to my shoulder, where he unexpectedly sank his teeth into my flesh.
I cried out in pain, but he swiftly covered my mouth with his hand, leaving me only able to make muffled sounds.
Just as I felt myself nearing suffocation, he released his grip and replaced it with his supple tongue.
It came with powerful entanglement, an irresistible fervor, and an enchanting depth of emotion.
Let me be enchanted, driven mad, and dance with him.
Pressed against the wall, I slowly began to feel a bit weak, sinking down little by little.
Yet he pulled away with his hands, leaning against the wall.
I didn't know what was wrong with him; his emotions were fluctuating wildly, as if he had gone insane.
He ravaged me with a frenzy, tearing my clothes to shreds and carelessly tossing them on the floor.
His fingers lightly traced my cheek, the slightly cold tips sending shivers through my entire body as if charged with electricity.
A long finger slid from my cheek to the corner of my mouth, glided over my chin, brushed along my neck, and continued to extend downward.
I found myself breathless from his kisses, leaning close to his ear, biting his earlobe as I whispered softly, "What's wrong with you?"
In response, I received a searing kiss as we became entangled with one another.
He threw me onto the bed with force.
Fortunately, the bed was soft enough that I didn’t feel pain when I landed; I only felt a bit confused by Mu Xuanche's actions today.
He flew over me, and I felt his weight pressing down. My body seemed enchanted, ignited with a fiery heat.
I opened my pale arms, wrapping them around his neck, tugging at his hair.
He held me tightly, and I could feel his strength.
His warm breath brushed against my ear, sending a shiver through me.
I let out a light laugh, a soft moan escaping my lips.
"Che..."
This was the first time I had called him that, and even I was taken aback by the tenderness in my voice. It was surprising that such a gentle tone came from me.
It seemed everyone needed some training in love, and that single utterance made me feel a delightful tingle.
I slightly opened my eyes, gazing at him through the cautious light streaming in from the window, my expression dreamy.
Mu Xuanche exhaled onto my face, his tone laced with a seductive charm that sent shivers down my spine.
"Is it okay?"
Under the moonlight, Mu Xuanche's faint smile seemed to deepen. The magnetic quality of his voice just now sent shivers down my spine, stirring my heart and leaving me exhilarated.
I looked up at him and nodded slightly.
"Yes," I replied, my voice barely louder than a whisper, yet he heard me.
As soon as the words left my lips, he kissed me deeply again, his dominating aura enveloping my entire being.
My legs weakened, and I couldn't help but wrap them around him.
"Good girl," he said, his voice laced with a charming arrogance.
At that moment, Mu Xuanche resembled a devil—one that was impossible to resist, a devil that drew me in despite the danger, compelling me to plunge deeper into temptation.
Like a moth to a flame, I felt I would pursue this until the end.
I sensed his strength as I surrendered myself to him, moving in sync with his rhythm, dancing together under the fading moonlight.
The moon, like my shy face, seemed to disappear as if it couldn't help but hide in Mu Xuanche's embrace.
The night was already deep, but for me, this tranquil night was incredibly beautiful.
A whole night was enough for me and Mu Xuanche to be entwined, until dawn when he remained like a beast that had not yet been satiated, relishing every moment.
As the light gradually brightened, my entire body felt as if it were cramping, sore and lacking strength.
With a hoarse voice, I pleaded with him, and only then did he slowly release me.
He held me close, one arm around my waist and the other cradling my head, pressing my face against his chest.
"Sleep," he said.
His magnetic voice carried a unique charm that captivated me completely; those two words seemed to possess magic, lulling me into a gentle slumber.
When I woke again, Mu Xuanche was still sleeping beside me.
This was one of the rare moments I could see him upon waking. Outside, the world was already brightening.
His sleeping face was particularly serene, unlike Bai's cold demeanor; he looked like a quiet child peacefully drifting off to sleep.
This face is truly exquisite, perfectly proportioned to an unbeatable degree. He is the Gift, with lashes thicker and longer than mine.
Suddenly, he opened his eyes.
His obsidian-like gaze sparkled with light as he stared at me.
We exchanged smiles, and I spoke first, "Good morning."
"Good morning."
He actually replied to me; it seemed he was in a good mood today.
He sat up and got out of bed, casually throwing on a shirt.
His perfect physique was striking—tall and lean, with clearly defined Eight-Pack Abs.
As I lay on the bed, I couldn't help but drool silently at the sight.
Coupled with his stunning looks, his face was chiseled like a sculpture, with sharp features that made him truly resemble a Demon.
Staring at such a scene, being able to appreciate this beauty so early in the morning was incredibly delightful.
I watched as he turned around slightly, opening his mouth just enough to look at me, his eyes filled with a hint of playful mischief.
"How about it?"
I instinctively replied, "Very good."
"Do you want it?"
Suddenly, a sound like Demonic Sound echoed, and without thinking, I blurted out, "Yes."
He laughed heartily and slowly walked towards me.
I reached out to grab him, but as soon as I did, pain shot through my entire body. It dawned on me then that after everything that happened last night, I felt almost broken.
Now, every part of me still ached. If this continued, it might just take my life.
I looked at him with a pitiful expression, shaking my head vigorously like a rattle drum.
"No more, no more."
Yet he kept coming closer. Just when I thought he was up to no good, he gently used his elbow to massage my body, easing the soreness in my limbs.
I felt so comfortable that I was about to drift off to sleep again.
In my drowsy state, I was dressed in a garment and lifted to sit up on the bed. He moved my feet into a pair of shoes, and at the moment he bent down to help me put them on, I finally woke up.
How could someone as proud as him do something like this? I hurriedly tried to stop him, but he just smiled and slipped the shoes on my feet, pulling me down from the bed.
"Time to eat, Wife," he said.
