"Ah,"
I didn't expect it to be me who shouted. He Zhi Yong, standing next to the Island Master, frowned and stared at me. "Yan Xi, why did you kick me when you were fine?"
My face turned red with embarrassment. "Uncle He, I'm so sorry! I've been having leg cramps lately, and I accidentally kicked you. I really apologize."
"You young girl, despite your age, you have quite a few issues. Take care of your health," he replied.
Having suffered a loss for words, I could only lower my head and apologize softly. "Yes, yes, Uncle He."
I shot a glare at the seemingly dignified Island Master nearby, wishing I could just stand up and go over to deal with him right then and there.
It's all his fault for making me look foolish; now everyone would be laughing at me.
Although he wore a serious expression, the smug smile in the corner of his eyes was visible to everyone.
It made me furious. Suddenly, an idea struck me. I deliberately dropped my spoon on the floor.
The big guy was about to help me pick it up when I shouted, "No need!"
Then I bent down myself. As soon as I grabbed the spoon, I quickly pulled his hand over and bit down hard on his palm.
After all, he wasn't afraid of pain, so I went all out.
I never expected his blood to taste so good. It didn't have a metallic flavor; instead, it had a hint of sweetness.
I extended my tongue to lick the blood on the surface, taking a couple of strong sips as it surged into my mouth.
It felt like his body stiffened, and I couldn't help but feel a bit smug.

I knew that arguing with him would lead to no good outcome. I thought that biting him once was a victory, and just as I was about to lift my head to continue eating, this demon pressed my head down again.
I didn't dare struggle too hard; if anyone found out, that would be truly embarrassing.
I could only plead with him softly, and after finally receiving his forgiveness, I was allowed to come up for air.
"Yan Xi, why is your face so red? And why are you taking so long to pick up a spoon?"
Mingyue's sudden question made me feel incredibly awkward.
I shot a glare at the person beside me before replying, "My face is red because I've been looking down for too long, causing my blood to rush up. As for taking so long to pick something up, it's because I was pondering a question."
To my surprise, this girl wouldn't let it go. "Yan Xi, what were you thinking about?"
"I was thinking about how Uncle He came back."
Fortunately, I was quick-witted and managed to shift the topic. Now, everyone's attention was focused on He Zhi Yong.
Under the gaze of everyone, he remained calm.

He nodded in agreement with my assessment, which only left me more confused.

He Zhi Yong looked at me with a grin.

I finally voiced my thoughts. It wasn't easy to articulate such a convoluted idea.
Seeing He Zhi Yong nodding with a smile confirmed that my guess was correct. However, I still didn't understand what these people were trying to achieve by creating such a ruse.
Was it to lure us here? Was there really a need for such an elaborate scheme, or did they have some deeper purpose?
I looked at Island Master and asked, "So what should we do now? Since we know it's a trap, should we go?"
He didn't respond, but He Zhi Yong spoke up, "Why not go? If we don't accompany such a big scheme, wouldn't that be disrespectful to those who set it up?"
As soon as He Zhi Yong finished speaking, there was a knock on the door.
We were all herded into the restroom, leaving only the big man and He Zhi Yong outside to handle things.
"He Daozhang, Big Brother, when are you planning to go to the graveyard?"
It was Wang Kun's voice. How did he wake up?
I turned to look at Mingyue, and she shook her head to indicate she didn't know either.
We held our breath, afraid to make any noise that might alert those outside.
To hear the news from outside clearly, Mingyue and I pressed our ears against the door.
I could feel a warm breath continuously blowing against the back of my neck, making it particularly itchy.
At first, I didn't pay much attention, but when I felt a sticky sensation behind me, I turned around to take a look.
To my surprise, it was Island Master; he was almost pressed up against me.
I shot him a glare, but he acted as if he hadn't seen me at all and ignored my presence completely.
I cautiously glanced at the bright moon, noticing that all her thoughts were focused outside the door, her back turned to me.
I gave a warning glance to Island Master and turned back to continue gathering information from outside.
“Your Majesty, do you also need to concern yourself with when we set off?”
It was the voice of the big man, deliberately trying to assert dominance over Wang Kun to see how he would respond.
“Big Brother, don’t take it the wrong way. How could I dare to interfere with you? It’s just that the leader has been calling repeatedly, so I came to check on you,”
Wang Kun's voice was particularly respectful, revealing him to be someone who knew how to navigate such situations.

I nearly jumped out of my skin. Before I could turn around and scold him, he had already pressed himself against me, his head resting on my neck.
Warm breath sprayed against my ear, bringing an uncomfortable sensation.
His palm continued to apply pressure, and I felt so suffocated that I couldn't speak.
This guy leaned closer to my ear and whispered, "After giving birth to Chang'an, it seems you've grown quite a bit."
My face shifted from pale to flushed in a spectacular manner; I couldn't tell if the redness was from embarrassment or anger.
If the moonlight were not present now, I would definitely rush over and give this guy a good beating to show him my strength.
With no way to stop him, I could only force myself to calm down and listen to the sounds outside.
"You little..." The big man couldn't hold back his anger any longer.
"Hey, big guy, don't be like that. Brother Wang Kun is just following the leader's orders. Let's not make things difficult for him," He Zhi Yong stepped in as the peacemaker, one playing the role of the bad cop and the other the good cop.

Hearing the sound of the door closing, Mingyue opened the door and stepped out, followed by Island Master.

As soon as I stepped out, I heard the big guy announce, "Did everyone hear that? Get ready in one hour, and once you're all set, we can head downstairs."
"I don't have anything to prepare; I'll just stay here with you all," Mingyue said.
I originally had nothing to prepare either and could have stayed with them like Mingyue. However, thinking about earlier, I felt a bit dirty. So I told them, "You all wait here for a moment; I'll go back to my room and take a quick shower before joining you."
