After I called out, Island Master shot me a cold glance and used a rope to swing down and pull Mingyue up.
Then, he swung back using the wall's strength, tossing Mingyue right in front of me.
"Thank you, Island Master," I said.
I rushed over to Mingyue, wiping the disgusting slime off her face with concern. "Are you okay?"
She pinched her nose and complained, "Yan Xi, that snake's saliva smells terrible."
"You still have time to worry about that? Are you hurt?"
She shook her head and glanced at Island Master. "How did this big shot come here?"
I shrugged, not revealing the truth. "I don't know; I just happened to run into him. He might be looking for the big guy. If you're feeling better, let's get up and find him."
She looked at me for a moment. "Oh."
I helped her stand up and followed Island Master as he led us to another chamber. As soon as we entered, we saw the big guy lying on the ground, unconscious.
I quickly let go of Mingyue and rushed over to him, but no matter how much I shouted, he wouldn't wake up.
Sensing something was wrong, I went to find Island Master and asked him to take a look.
He approached and promptly gave the big guy two hard slaps across the face. The big guy stirred groggily and finally woke up.
Seeing the Island Master, he was also taken aback. "Master, how come you're here?"
"If you can be here, why can't I?"
After being retorted by the Island Master, the big man shrank back to the side, not daring to speak.
"You all go back and wait for me at the hotel. This place is fake; it's not the Qin Wang's Tomb. I'll explain everything when you return. Everyone go back first."
As soon as he gave the order, the big man immediately responded, "Okay."
But I was really frustrated. Why should I listen to him?
However, when I was about to speak up, I met his gaze and silently chose to give up.
I changed my words and said, "No, Uncle He hasn't been found yet. Let's wait for him to leave together."
He shot me a cold glance. "Do you still need to worry about the Old Man? Go back."
I had no idea what was making him so irritable and stood there speechless.
In the end, it was the big man who stepped in to mediate and led us all back.
By the time we returned to the hotel, it was almost dawn.
I shared a room with Mingyue. She was exhausted and after taking three showers, she collapsed onto the bed and fell asleep.
As for me, I couldn't sleep at all because my mind was occupied with thoughts of someone.
Tossing and turning in bed for over an hour, I finally lay there wide awake, staring at the dark ceiling, lost in my thoughts.
I had no idea how much time had passed when I suddenly felt the bed dip beside me.
I quickly turned my head and met his gaze.
His eyes were particularly beautiful, glimmering slightly even in the pitch-black room.
Realizing I was looking at him, he reached out and pulled me into his embrace.
"Wife, I'm back," he said.
His words nearly brought me to tears. Then his lips pressed against mine, and feeling his breath made me feel a bit dizzy; nothing he did could stop me from getting lost in the moment.
I sensed the sound of doors opening and closing repeatedly.
Then, I found myself in an unfamiliar room.
Staring at him, I asked, "Why did you bring me here?"
"To sleep," he replied confidently, showing no sign of realizing anything was amiss.
I still felt a bit unsettled and forced myself to say, "No, I want to go back to the room with Mingyue."
"Wife, if you want others to see our affection, then Husband will have to risk everything for you."
His scorching gaze made me swallow hard. "What do you mean?"
In response, he answered with his actions.
Before I could gather my thoughts, his hand slipped inside my shirt.
Slowly, he began to unbutton it one by one, exposing my skin to the air.
The air conditioning in the room made the sudden chill hit me, causing me to shiver instinctively.
Noticing this, he leaned down, covering my body with his own.
His warm breath enveloped me, and as he pressed against me, I couldn't help but let out a soft moan.
He smirked, a wicked smile playing at the corners of his mouth.
I found myself lost in his gaze, my hand slowly reaching up to cover his face as I blurted out an incredibly awkward comment.
"It's strange to see Island Master's face."
He froze for a moment, his expression darkening.
Covering my eyes with his hand, he held it there for a brief moment before releasing me.
As light flooded back into my vision, I saw Mu Xuanche's chiseled features, strikingly handsome and utterly captivating.
"This face is right," I said as I leaned in and kissed him on the lips.
Just like receiving a motivational boost, he snapped back to reality and retaliated.
His kiss was domineering, leaving me almost breathless.
In the end, I couldn't hold back any longer and gasped, "Enough, let me catch my breath."
The warmth in his deep Inky Eyes was laced with teasing, "Wife, if you can't handle this, how are we going to live our lives from now on?"
If he dared to say that, I dared to retort, "Oh, it's just because you lack Practical Experience. Just wait until I practice with a few more men before coming back to you."
In the next moment, I realized what it meant to play with fire.
His hand gripped my chin, forcing me to meet his gaze.
The Cold Light flashing in his eyes made me instinctively shrink back, too afraid to speak.
"Practice with a few more men, huh?"
"Smack!"
As the last word fell, my Butt suffered the consequences of a sharp slap.
The pain brought tears to my eyes as I glared at him. "You hit me."
Han Che's Eye Color gleamed with a cold light. "I don't hit you; I care for you."
Before I could react, he lifted me off the ground again.
The cold air enveloped me, making me shiver slightly as he pressed against my back.
He was too forceful, too painful, and I cried.
He pinched my cheek lightly, burying his head in my shoulder, his heavy breaths brushing against my ear.
"Just cooperate a little; it will be over soon," he said.
"Be good, let it out, and it will be fine."
Under his coaxing and teasing, I finally cried out, feeling a flicker of joy.
My voice brought delight to his entire world.
He intensified the torment, and though I couldn't bear it, I found myself willingly indulging in it, unwilling to give up.
What happened next was a blur; I had lost consciousness.
When the afternoon sunlight streamed into my eyes, it was already three o'clock.
I looked over at Shangguan Mingyue sitting beside me and jumped up in shock, the first thing I did was check my own body.
"Yan Xi, what’s wrong? Why are you so startled? Did something happen?"
She scrutinized me closely, and only then did I realize that I had somehow returned to the room I shared with Mingyue.
My sleepwear had been changed back as well. I shook my head while sitting up; I still felt a bit dizzy.
"Maybe I was too tired and overslept," I explained to her.
She finally relaxed. "Do you want to rest a bit longer? I'll go tell He Zhi Yong and the others."
"No need, I'll get up and join you now."
I understood that I couldn't hold everyone back just because of me. I turned over, got out of bed, and washed up.
When I reached downstairs, everyone was already seated in the hall, including He Zhi Yong, who I hadn't seen last night.
Ming Yue had always been a bit afraid of Island Master, so she immediately went over to sit next to He Zhi Yong.
That left only the seat next to Island Master available. With no other choice, I had to sit there.
Otherwise, it would be too strange and would draw everyone's attention.
Having slept too long made my head ache, and I felt like I couldn't even eat.
On my left sat Island Master, and on my right sat the big guy.
I wasn't sure if someone had instructed him, but as soon as I sat down, the big guy served me a bowl of soup.
"Yan Xi, you look tired too. Drink some soup to replenish your energy."
Tired indeed.
In an instant, my face flushed red. To prevent anyone from noticing, I could only bury my head in the soup.
Suddenly, my hand resting on the table was grasped by someone.
The heat from his palm made my hand feel tingly. I looked up at him, wanting to know what he was up to.
To my surprise, this man was expressionless as he ate from his bowl, exuding an air of indifference.
Why wasn’t he like this under the table? His pretentious demeanor was infuriating.
I prepared to give him a piece of my mind and lifted my leg to kick him hard in his direction.
