"Let's see what you can do to me." 0

Freyr laughed. 0

The two Red Skeletons erupted into maniacal laughter, their emotions becoming even more exaggerated. These skeletons now seemed to have taken on a human-like quality of thinking. 0

The situation looked dire, with attacks coming from both sides and the sound of cannon fire echoing in the background. One of the Red Skeletons was engulfed in a storm of bullets, yet it moved with surprising speed, twisting its body as if its spine could flex in a full 360-degree rotation. 0

Although some bullets struck it, its instinctive movements allowed it to dodge and weave through the hail of gunfire, slipping through the gaps with remarkable agility. Such speed was rare, and its contorted motions reached an unprecedented level. 0

The bullets from the Destroyer roared like cannon fire, shells cascading to the ground. If it weren't for the protective aura surrounding the Red Skeleton, it would have surely sustained serious damage. Relying on its speed, it managed to deflect some of the bullets with its aura while maintaining its rapid pace. 0

After a while, the Destroyer's ammunition ran out completely, and the barrage came to an end. It slammed its weapon down onto the ground and hoisted a Man-Portable Missile, launching it forward with tremendous force. 0

"Boom!" 0

"Boom!" 0

"Boom!" 0

The missile shot forth and detonated on impact. Unlike bullets, even if one could withstand the direct force of a missile, the explosion's shockwave was beyond estimation. The blast quickly expanded, sending waves of heat that left Freyr momentarily disoriented, his vision blurred by flames and the scorching air making it hard to breathe. 0

Before the Red Skeleton, its protective aura trembled violently as if reacting to fire. After a fierce shake, that nearly invulnerable armor vanished. However, this did not hinder the fiery skeleton's movements. 0

The red bones glinted with a sharp edge as they reflected light menacingly before slicing downward. Sensing potential defeat, it unleashed a desperate attack; yet this alone would not be enough to kill the giant before it. 0

The giant lowered his blade slightly, and two spirals of force erupted at the blade's edge. In just a moment, a fierce killing intent manifested as powerful slashing attacks combined in an X formation with Dual Daggers aimed at their target. 0

The Bone Blade of the Red Skeleton collided with the edge of the blade, and an immense force erupted. The wrist bones of the Red Skeleton began to crack layer by layer, and the Bone Blade shattered. With a slip of the blade, another strike slashed diagonally into its shoulder, severing several ribs in the process, which quickly broke apart. 0

Thus, without expending much effort, a tremendous momentum was generated. Another blade swiftly swept forward, aiming to cleave down upon the Red Skeleton's head. The force was so overwhelming that the Red Skeleton could hardly resist; at this point, the Spirit Fire in its eyes flickered out. 0

Seeing this, another figure took a step back, realizing that having human-like thinking was not necessarily a good thing. Fear began to creep in. 0

"Swish~" 0

A sharp Feather shot forth with great force. Looking over at Ross on the other side, his bandaged hands were soaked with blood, clearly indicating he had exerted considerable effort. It seemed that if he continued to use that strength, his palms would be ground to dust and suffer permanent damage. 0

"Bang!!!" 0

The sound of metal clashing resonated loudly, and everyone looked on in shock. The Red Skeleton lacked the speed and attacking power of other skeletons but exhibited a defensive capability stronger than any other. The power of the Feather was formidable, yet it failed to inflict any harm. 0

All of this stemmed from the shield before it—the Blood-Red Bone Shield—radiating energy and even emanating a powerful aura from above. This was an exceptionally strong Defense Power. 0

"Damn it!" Ross cursed loudly. 0

At this moment, another Feather was launched, seemingly more powerful than before. Starting from the arrowhead, it was an unusual Alchemical Arrow. While it couldn't match an enchanted arrow in power, it shot forth at an Ultimate speed comparable to that of a laser. 0

"Bang!" 0

Another dull thud echoed out. This time, unlike before, the impact was evident; the Red Skeleton staggered backward under the direct hit. The force of the impact left it quite disheveled. 0

It retreated half a step, and a crack appeared on its shield where the arrow had struck. Yet despite this, the Defense Power of the shield reached a new level; even the Alchemical Arrow could not penetrate it. 0

"Let me handle this!" 0

Duan Shuai spoke for the first time, commanding the remaining missiles to unleash their firepower at the Bone Shield. The intensity of the attack surged, and the artillery fire covered that area completely. Even if they couldn't hit the skeletons inside, the force of the explosions could still harm the skeletons behind the shield. 0

The roar of the Man-Portable Missile echoed as each explosion sent the Red Skeleton howling in agony, its cries sounding almost mournful, like a wailing woman lamenting her fate. 0

To them, however, that sound was incredibly satisfying. Although they had no particular desire to torture living beings, the Undead skeletons had caused them considerable suffering. Thus, their thoughts of punishing these creatures until they were on the brink of death were not entirely unfounded. 0

The bombardment continued for a long time, and the howls echoed for what felt like ages. When the heat from the Man-Portable Missile finally subsided, Duan Shuai found his hands blistered from the hot copper tubes. The barrels had turned red from overheating; they were likely unusable now, especially since he had been firing one missile after another without pause. 0

He hadn’t even noticed that there was still one more Man-Portable Missile barrel on the ground. But he simply didn’t have time to switch it out; he kept firing with just one barrel until it was completely spent and then tossed it aside. 0

The Red Skeleton across from him seemed to be in dire straits, standing frozen at the edge and not moving an inch. Its red Bone Blade had been shattered by the artillery fire, and finally, even its shield showed signs of damage—at least a quarter of its edge had been blown apart. 0

As for the other targets of the Red Skeleton, they must have sustained significant injuries as well, including shattered bones. If this relentless bombardment continued, they might not be able to rise again. 0

Suddenly, Ross's bow trembled as a sharp arrow shot forth toward where it had previously aimed—the direction of the shield. It appeared to be an Alchemical Arrow. The Bone Shield was impacted and shattered instantly; the spiraling arrow pierced through it and propelled forward, pushing through the remnants of the Alchemical Arrow's tail until the Bone Shield was completely destroyed. 0

The Red Skeleton began to scream but was quickly engulfed by a wave of red flames. Its bones softened and gradually turned to ash, resembling something consumed by fire. Its form slowly merged with the ground; perhaps with a gust of wind, that broken figure would vanish without a trace. 0
